Divine-level Base-Chapter 55: Rout

The fifty-five Black Dog Illusion Demons charged into the mixed unit of Dark Elves and Big Goblins, swiftly pouncing on them and tearing out their throats.

Three Goblin Leaders, ten Goblin Warriors, and thirty Big Goblins burst from the jungle, charging toward the force of over one hundred Big Goblins.

FWIP! FWIP! FWIP!

Like a shower of meteors, arrows shot out from the jungle, felling one Big Goblin after another.

Shu Feng frowned slightly. "Camilla, stop! We still need to destroy the Demons’ nest soon."

Camilla had already killed over thirty Big Goblins, and her Physical Strength was running low. Shu Feng didn’t want to lose such a powerful long-range fighter before the final battle.

A fierce Flame burned in Camilla’s beautiful eyes. "Shu Feng, don’t worry. I have enough Physical Strength to carry on."

A young Dark Elf girl who looked to be only ten years old, Mira, said with slightly reddened eyes, "Shu Feng, Camilla used the Heroic Secret Pattern. For the next three days, she’ll have the power of a Hero. But after three days... she’ll die."

Shu Feng asked, "Heroic Secret Pattern? What’s that?"

With her eyes red, Mira explained, "The Heroic Secret Pattern is a Secret Technique passed down through the generations in my village! Once you use it, you either awaken as a true Hero... or you burn away all of your life and potential to gain a Hero’s power for three days. Camilla is going to die in three days."

Shu Feng glanced at the imposing figure of Camilla, his eyes narrowing slightly. ’A Hero! No wonder!’

In the Andoras World, the two great Professions of Hero and Brave possessed the greatest evolutionary potential. Theoretically, even a Goblin Hero had the potential to evolve into a terrifying existence comparable to a Giant Dragon.

Of course, those with the Hero and Brave Professions were also exceedingly rare in the Andoras World. Although Camilla was exceptional, she was still a far cry from a true Dark Elf Hero. By using the Heroic Secret Pattern, she was destined to perish in three days.

Camilla’s face was expressionless as she drew her bow and fired a continuous stream of arrows, only stopping after loosing twenty shots. Even though she had used the Heroic Secret Pattern, she wasn’t a true Hero and could still grow weary.

The moment the hundred-odd remaining Big Goblins clashed with the Black Dog Illusion Demons, they were pounced upon and thrown to the ground. The three Goblin Leaders were even more savage, swinging their great clubs and sending the enemy Big Goblins flying with shattered bones.

The morale of the dozens of Parasitic Spider Demons broke, and they scattered, fleeing in all directions.

Wielding [Black Crow], Shu Feng’s figure flickered as he dashed toward the valley, sending only ten Black Dog Illusion Demons to hunt down the fleeing Parasitic Spider Demons.

After all, his classmates in the valley were more important.

The moment Shu Feng charged into the valley, he saw a dense swarm of Parasitic Spider Demons crawling up the mountain walls, trying to get out.

’There are so many of these Parasitic Spider Demons!’

Shu Feng’s brow furrowed slightly, but he refrained from opening fire on them.

"Shu Feng, you’re finally back! You scared me to death! I almost died!"

Pei Caiyi threw herself into Shu Feng’s arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

The other two girls, Zhong Jietong and Zhuo Qianlei, took a step forward and exchanged a glance. Zhong Jietong then silently turned and walked toward the other injured students.

"Alright, I’m going to check on the others first."

Shu Feng gently pushed Pei Caiyi away and walked through the valley.

The casualties were quickly tallied: thirty-five students had died gruesome deaths, and forty-two were injured. A sense of panic and Fear filled the entire valley.

The Big Goblins quickly began to clear the battlefield.

Camilla and the five young Dark Elf girls walked toward the valley.

The moment Linga saw Camilla approaching, he let out a whistle, his eyes practically glazing over. "Ah Feng, is that a Dark Elf? What a chest, what legs... she’s gorgeous!"

Camilla’s beauty and aura were in no way inferior to Ding Xiaoxue’s, but she had a taller figure, with long, beautiful legs and a bust that looked ready to burst from her clothes. She exuded the aura of a mature, dominant woman, and her identity as a Fantasy Species—a Dark Elf—only added to her Charm.

A strange light glinted in Zhuo Qianlei’s eyes. "A Dark Elf!! So beautiful!!"

"She’s so beautiful, a Dark Elf!"

"It’s really a Dark Elf!!"

Seeing Camilla and the five young Dark Elf girls, many of the students’ eyes lit up, and they began to murmur amongst themselves.

Shu Feng introduced his friends to Camilla. "This is my friend, the Dark Elf Camilla. Camilla, these are my friends: Ding Xiaoxue, Zhuo Qianlei, Linga... and Pei Caiyi."

Camilla said indifferently, "Hello."

Ding Xiaoxue’s brows furrowed slightly. She glanced at Shu Feng and asked, "What is she saying, Shu Feng?"

Even without understanding the language, the others could clearly sense Camilla’s dismissiveness and impatience. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Shu Feng explained, "Camilla said hello. Her village was slaughtered by those Demons. She’s not in a good mood."

"Her village was slaughtered?!"

The faces of Pei Caiyi and the other girls turned pale, and Fear flashed in their eyes. They had all grown up in a peaceful world; the bloody scenes of the past few days had shown them the true terror of this one.

The girls looked at Camilla and the five young Dark Elf girls with a flash of sympathy in their eyes.

Camilla stared intently at Shu Feng, her beautiful eyes blazing with a Flame that could burn both herself and her enemies to cinders. "Shu Feng, when are we going to the Demon nest to slaughter every last one of them?"

"Camilla, wait a moment."

Shu Feng quickly relayed the intelligence he had gathered about the Parasitic Spider Demon nest to Ding Xiaoxue. After all, her knowledge of the Otherworld and Void Demons far surpassed his own.

A grave expression crossed Ding Xiaoxue’s face. "We have to destroy that Demon nest immediately! Once the Void Demon Gate opens, this entire area will be transformed into Demon Soil. It will be corrupted by the Power of Void Demon and become a foothold for the Void Demon Realm’s invasion. By then, even a Spirit Sect Level expert would have a hard time destroying the Void Demon Gate."

"The best strategy would be to first scout out how many Demons are near the Void Demon Gate. Then, we could dispatch several squads equipped with the appropriate Extraordinary Secret Treasures to destroy it. Unfortunately, we’re out of time."

"With each passing day, more Power of Void Demon will pour out of the Void Demon Gate. Bathed in its radiation, the Demons will only grow stronger. We don’t have time to wait."

In the Void Demon Realm, Parasitic Spider Demons are nothing but the lowest level of cannon fodder, yet even they possess Spirit Warrior Level Power. The only reason they’re so weak in this world is that they haven’t been exposed to enough radiation from the Power of Void Demon.
