Divine Luck: SSS-Rank Battle Maid Harem-Chapter 578: Achievement
"If he's from the Ugri tribe…Wouldn't he have left the Empire?" Someone cautiously pointed out.
"No, I'm sure Zacharia knows where this Borso guy is."
"I have no idea where either is. But I'm sure they can be found," Zach said with a smile. He held back from giving an encouraging thumbs-up.
"Derot Gaville is in the capital," The Emperor stated confidently. He turned to the Sesha side of the meeting hall. "As for Borso…?"
Maura was about to speak up when one of the large warriors behind her leaned in and whispered in her ear.
"He did not leave with the rest of his tribe, nor did he partake in their plan to side with the Arlecch tribe. Right now, he should be helping out in the refugee camp outside the city."
Maura wasn't sure when Zach had the time to get acquainted with Borso. She didn't even know who Borso was. But her warrior said it was a good choice, and she trusted her warriors.
The fact that he was from the Ugri tribe would also mean that he would be impartial to the benefits each tribe could get since his own tribe wasn't present anymore.
"Does anyone have any objections?" The Emperor asked, glancing around the room. His gaze silenced anyone who looked like they were about to speak up. They had already talked about this for several days now. They finally had a solution that worked for everyone and that would bring prosperity to the Empire. He wasn't going to let anyone object.
Finally, the Emperor turned to Zach again.
"Congratulations, Archduke Zacharia Evandiel. The East is yours," he said with a smile, officially granting him the archduke title in the Empire.
The rest of his family had been stripped of all titles and land. Zach didn't have any land, but given that he hadn't been involved in their scheme, he didn't lose anything. Since his father, the Duke, had been removed from position, and Zach received all of the East, it stood to reason that he would also receive an appropriate title. But if the Emperor was merciful, Zach was already a duke since he would have taken over it after it was removed from his father.
That meant Zach had to rise up one step.
The Emperor didn't mind. He was still the Emperor.
Zach had, in almost everyone's eyes, saved the Empire from annihilation. It was an achievement on the same level as contributing to the Empire's establishment. If anyone deserved that title, it was Zach.
Of course, there were people like the principal and Sio in the Empire. Although they had agreed to not get involved in the events transpiring within the Empire for everyone's sake, the Hydra could hardly be called an ordinary event. It was a natural disaster old enough to warrant the old guard stepping in.
But few knew about the individuals of previous generations who were powerful enough to bend their aging and defy nature to prolong their existence. They were a well-kept secret. Thanks to Zach, they could remain that way.

The Emperor's words silenced the hall. But it didn't take long before a ruckus was about to burst out.
In the history of the Empire, no one had earned the title of Archduke.
"Your official title and the deed of your land will be delivered to you shortly, Archduke Zacharia. You may take your leave if you wish. We have already delayed your rest for too long. A servant will show you to your accommodations."
Zach stifled a yawn and nodded as he left the hall. He wasn't interested in whatever else they might have to discuss. He just wanted to sleep.
He was a little surprised to suddenly be a higher noble than his father ever was. But it was just a title of nobility. It didn't mean anything in the long run, not with creatures like the Hydra running around. He had also been saddled with the responsibility of restoring the East and its well-being.
He couldn't wait to offload it onto Derot.
He also couldn't wait to plop down onto a bed of imperial standard. Odds were it was comfier than a rickety carriage.
However, he didn't get far before Maura came out from the door behind him. She looked both ways before locking onto Zach.
"Zach!" She shouted after him and rushed to catch up.
Zach was worried he wouldn't get his much-needed rest when he saw Maura sprint at him in a hurry. He hoped he had the strength to resist this time.
"Where's my daughter?" Maura asked with worry.
Zach froze.
'Ah.'
That was what he had forgotten.
"I'll—I'll be right back," He said simply before disappearing from the spot. Maura's eyes widened. So did the eyes of his familiars. But while Maura's eyes widened from shock and confusion, theirs widened from realization.
They knew where Visla was. They just hoped she was still alive. She had been in Haven for a while now.
They couldn't believe everyone had forgotten about her.
It wasn't completely impossible to understand. They had retreated to Haven when the First pulled out a sea of infernal fire that reduced everything to char and ash.
After spending a little time there, they had quickly returned to the Labyrinth to deal with the First and the Hydra. They ended up almost fighting to the death against a being far stronger than them. They had to put their lives on the line.
Visla, who they knew was safe, didn't exactly surface in their tired minds. She had ended up sinking into the background.
It was unpardonable.
But at least she had Ra to keep her company. It shouldn't have been that bad. Besides, Visla was injured and dead tired the last time they saw her. She had practically been in a coma.
Maybe she just woke up.
Zach's familiars glanced at each other. They could tell that Maura wanted an explanation. But they weren't sure whether to tell her about Haven without Zach's permission.
Fortunately, they didn't have to endure the burdensome gaze of a worried mother for too long before Zach and Visla returned.
