In the vast cosmos, the Abyssal Plane drifted slowly, inching closer to the Douluo Continent. It seemed to deliberately slow its pace, though it would arrive in just a few minutes at most.
Bored out of his mind, Bai Xu turned his gaze to Gu Yuena beside him and said, "Though I’m still a bit weak after that last big battle, now is actually the perfect time—when the origin energy is unstable. Having comprehended the principles of Yin and Yang and deepened my understanding of the Silver Dragon’s origin, I can now manifest the Silver Dragon myself."
To prove his words, Bai Xu conjured a sphere of silver light in his palm. The dual energies of Yin and Yang swirled around it once more, and in an instant, the light condensed into a miniature Silver Dragon. The fledgling creature spread its wings, elemental radiance shimmering around it as it bowed reverently to Bai Xu.
Gu Yuena’s eyes widened in shock, then flickered with unease as she thought of Gu Yue and Na’er.
Those two split personalities—neither of them are any good! They had shamelessly taken over her body to do those things with Bai Xu. Gu Yue, in particular—a personality so similar to her own—had even seized control at one point, turning the tables on her.
Now, she had to face both of them, and her heart couldn’t help but tremble with nervousness.
"...Fine." After a long silence, Gu Yuena finally agreed.
She closed her eyes and relaxed her mind, allowing Bai Xu to enter her spiritual sea.
Deep within the azure expanse of her consciousness, two figures lay dormant. To prevent a decline in strength, Gu Yue and Na’er had fallen into a deep slumber. Unless summoned by Gu Yuena, they would never wake.
Gu Yuena followed Bai Xu into the depths of her spiritual sea, casting a complicated glance at the two girls before looking away. Her mood was undeniably awkward.
Bai Xu, however, remained unfazed. He approached Gu Yue and Na’er calmly, his hands brimming with the power of creation. His very existence embodied the concept of ex nihilo—once he understood something, he could manifest it with a mere thought. Now that he had grasped the Silver Dragon’s elemental laws, he could even forge independent bodies for Gu Yue and Na’er if he wished.
At Gu Yuena’s soft call, the two sleeping figures stirred awake. The moment Gu Yue saw Bai Xu and Gu Yuena, joy flashed across her face—she knew Bai Xu had succeeded.
"Bai Xu... are you going to separate us now?" Gu Yue asked excitedly.
"Yes. This day was inevitable. Once it’s done, I’ll take you all to Douluo Continent. Everything is reaching its conclusion."
"Good."
"Hmph!" Gu Yuena snorted, glaring at Gu Yue.
Na’er, meanwhile, stayed silent, glancing between Gu Yue and Gu Yuena uncertainly before offering Bai Xu a timid smile.
Bai Xu nodded. The three of them merged into a single entity, manifesting as the most complete form of the Silver Dragon within the spiritual sea. Suddenly, the dragon let out a piercing cry—and split into two separate entities.
Gu Yuena’s own origin energy suffered damage, causing her to hiss in pain. She even seemed to shrink slightly.
The two separated Silver Dragon essences didn’t fare much better. Without external support, they would soon dissipate into nothingness.
Bai Xu’s hands glowed with white light as he placed them on Gu Yue and Na’er, stabilizing their origins and continuously replenishing them with the power of creation.
Gu Yuena watched in awe. No matter how many times she witnessed it, the sight of herself splitting into three—with her own participation—was nothing short of astonishing.
’What kind of karma did I create in a past life?!’
If she had known this would happen, she would never have split herself in the first place. Not only had her two split personalities grown distant from her, but they had also fallen for the same man.
Just as she was lamenting, a gentle touch soothed her body. Bai Xu channeled a steady stream of Silver Dragon origin energy into her, silently comforting her while ensuring her strength remained intact.
Time passed minute by minute...
The Abyssal Plane came to a standstill in the cosmos, ceasing its advance.
One hour later.
A flash of light erupted from Gu Yuena’s forehead as she lay unconscious. Two spheres of white light emerged, materializing into the figures of Gu Yue and Na’er. The two girls marveled at their new bodies—undeniably Silver Dragons, yet subtly different.
"I’ve infused a trace of creation energy into your origins. In theory, you should now be able to cultivate my techniques," Bai Xu explained.
"Really?!" Gu Yue gasped.
"Such a feat would require you to fully comprehend our existence... Does that mean you could create us from scratch now?" Na’er asked in wonder.
"I also sense something different in the replenished origin energy—a hint of human essence, but unlike that of Douluo’s humans..." Gu Yuena, now fully recovered, furrowed her brow. Suddenly, her mind felt clearer, as though a fog had lifted—like a celestial being had enlightened her.
"Indeed. Take your time to feel it—it should greatly aid your future cultivation. Here are the manuals for the Five Elements of the Human Body. See if you can practice them."
"I’ve already recovered to god-level. I won’t be restarting my cultivation... Speaking of which, do you two even have any cultivation now?" Gu Yuena asked pointedly.
"Not really. We’re only slightly stronger than ordinary humans," Na’er admitted innocently—only to earn a sharp look from Gu Yue.
Ignoring the silent tension between the three women, Bai Xu said, "Let’s head back first. There’s still some unfinished business to handle."

Douluo Plane.
The Spirit of the Plane had reclaimed its position as the Plane’s master, stabilizing the collapsing Douluo Continent. Drawing upon the vast life force Bai Xu had prepared within the Demon Plane, it didn’t need to hibernate. With a wave of its hand, a figure began to resurrect.
It was Leng Jiuming—Bai Xu’s master.
He stood in his own home, utterly bewildered. "Wasn’t I dead?"
This scene repeated across the continent. Many had been revived.
The golden figure traversed the land, as if reminiscing, before finally descending upon Shrek Academy.
The teachers and students who remained were gripped by terror. News of the complete annihilation of the Sea God Pavilion’s master, Shrek’s upper echelons, and the Tang Sect’s leadership had already spread. The "Demon Lord" had won the war.
Gazing at the fearful faces of Shrek’s students, the Spirit of the Plane declared:
"From this day forward, Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect are disbanded. These names are now forbidden. Anyone who seeks to revive these two factions will be cursed by the Plane itself—their strength shall stagnate, misfortune shall plague them, and heavenly lightning shall strike them down!"
BOOM!
An invisible rule etched itself into the laws of the Douluo Plane, binding all who heard it.
"Sea God Tang San shall be recorded in the annals of Douluo’s history as the most hypocritical figure of all time—spat upon by all! The Tang family shall never rise again in this world!"
Those whose souls lingered in the cycle of reincarnation could also witness this scene. The Spirit of the Plane was merciful—it offered them a choice. If they renounced their loyalty to Shrek and the Tang Sect, submitting to the new order, they could be revived.
As expected, not all were fanatics.
The more moderate military officers, some legion commanders, and even ordinary Federation citizens who had perished in the crossfire of Bai Xu’s battle rejoiced—they chose resurrection.
Who cares about Shrek and the Tang Sect? My life is more important!
In the end, only Long Yeyue, Chen Xinjie, Cao Dezhi, and a few others held firm. Lost in despair, with Tang Wulin nowhere to be found and Tang San’s divine sense obliterated, all hope was gone.
Should we start over?
No... we’re too tired.
But Yali’s resolve wavered when she saw the figure standing behind the Spirit of the Plane—the man she had longed for day and night: Yun Ming.
Once, they had been separated by life and death. Now, the roles were reversed.
Yun Ming had been revived. Yali was the one who had died.
"Yun Ming... you..." Yali’s voice trembled.
Yun Ming smiled faintly. "It doesn’t matter anymore. Elder Long, Yali... perhaps we were wrong all along. Let it go. The current master of the Plane is the true ruler of Douluo."
It seemed Yun Ming and the Spirit of the Plane had struck some kind of deal. The cost of his resurrection had been great—now, he served as the Plane’s guardian.
"Yun Ming! You—!" Long Yeyue snarled through gritted teeth.
Yali hesitated, then stepped forward, appearing beside Yun Ming in an instant. "Why...? As the former master of the Sea God Pavilion, how could you make this choice?"
"The will of our predecessors isn’t always right. From a broader perspective, Shrek Academy was nothing more than a stepping stone for the Tang family. When Tang Wulin joined the inner academy and absorbed thirty percent of the Life Ancient Tree’s energy, I already sensed something amiss. Then, the evil soulists attacked, and I died. Only now, after the Plane’s master showed me the truth, did I understand. For twenty thousand years, no one in Douluo has escaped the Tang family’s control to ascend to godhood. Even when I forged half a godhood myself, I still met a tragic end. So I thought... why not live for myself for once? Yali, come back. From the very beginning, we were caught in a game far beyond our level. Now... it’s over. Time to let go."
"Yun Ming..."
Yali was revived. She never mentioned Shrek again.
As for those whose loyalty to Shrek ran bone-deep—they were cast into the abyss by the Spirit of the Plane, never to reincarnate again.
"And then there’s the matter of the Holy Spirit Cult..." The Spirit of the Plane glanced meaningfully at Yun Ming, who understood immediately. Following its guidance, he set off to purge them all.
