"To get by, I’ll pass you the ring. There are runic cards within and enough to keep us safe. Your main duty will be to protect the tent and ensure no harm comes upon me. You understand?" Ryuk stated, as Isha looked at the storage ring before she nodded.

Her rage toward her weakness had greatly subsided.

She no longer had wrath in her mind, for now at least.

And she could sense there was something in her, awakened by the battle she had just fought.

Many things about herself, which she had failed to notice before, she could now feel she had grasped—both about her body and her Ice Manipulation.

It would be best if she spent some time trying to comprehend whatever understanding she had gained.

And with Ryuk going into slumber, he surely would need to be protected. So it was best if she truly avoided any battle.

"Okay," Isha stated, and in an instant, Ryuk was swept up onto her back as Isha raced away from the blood-ridden battlefield.

The darkness was getting deeper now. His sense of touch, smell, and even pain were starting to fade.

She knew well she had only lasted through that battle because of the healing pills and setum she had received.

She had zero idea how Ryuk had gotten these things, but they were the only things that allowed her to fight by his side for so long through the battle.

And throughout its duration, she had never seen Ryuk take a single pill or serum himself.

He had been beaten, risen up, and fallen, only to rise again, be beaten down, and then fall once more, only to rise up back again.

She had watched him rise and rise. With nothing but a scythe and her by his side. He had continued fighting and fighting.

She had previously thought him weak.

And even though Isha had been subdued by Ryuk due to his King’s aura, she wasn’t dumb.

She also knew well it was only because of the weird skill Ryuk had used to subdue her.

Somehow, even after this subduement, she still felt his weakness deep down.

She still felt she was higher and he was unworthy of having her by his side. She felt him even more weaker when she saw his true capability with his fight with the Collosal.

But now, she had been proven wrong.

"He might be weak now. His ability now might be tiny compared to his abysmal potential. In fact, if compared, it makes him look like trash."

"But there’s no doubt about it. He’s willed enough. Willed enough to rise back up, even after every crushing defeat."
