Dual Cultivator with a cultivation system-Chapter 336: Ch-: Next Area
"Hurry up, you two," Bai Lingxi said as she watched Luo Li and Shi Yu kill the beasts.
"Huff... Huff... Sister Lingxi, we’ve already killed enough beasts, you know. Can we go to the next area now?" Luo Li panted heavily.
"Not enough. First, reach the Foundation Realm, then we’ll move on. It’ll be easier to kill stronger beasts there if you increase your cultivation now. Plus, we can get more cores to buy better weapons," Bai Lingxi responded indifferently to her question.
"Bai Lingxi, aren’t you worried that Wang Ming might catch up to you?" Shi Yu asked teasingly as she eyed Bai Lingxi who had her arms crossed over her chest.
"Nope," Bai Lingxi replied nonchalantly, though Shi Yu rolled her eyes—she could tell Bai Lingxi wasn’t as confident as she pretended to be.
’Yes, I’m nervous, but there’s no way I’m admitting it. The only way he can completely crush my lead is by completing the mission,’ Bai Lingxi thought, feeling at ease. She doubted Wang Ming could finish the task so soon—until, in the next moment, her expression froze.

"Sister Lingxi..." Shi Yu started to say something, but when she saw Bai Lingxi’s sharp glare, she swallowed her words and did not dare to utter a single word, as she sensed something bad will happen to her if she said anything.
’Great, I’m out here killing beasts, and he’s straight-up killing players. How in the heavens did he even provoke a hundred players? No—who am I kidding? Does that bastard even need to provoke anyone? He’s a natural chaos attractor,’ Bai Lingxi thought, her lips twitching as she sighed in defeat.
Bai Lingxi looked at Shi Yu and Luo Li, who had stopped fighting, their faces turning red as they struggled to hold back their laughter. Annoyed, Bai Lingxi created a few ice spears and tossed them at their feet, barely missing them. The spears shattered upon impact, sending a chill down their spines.
She then casually threw a few more toward some nearby beasts, provoking them into charging at the girls.
"Keep fighting," Bai Lingxi snorted, ignoring their resentful glares.
A Few Minutes Later
"Huff... Huff... Finally," both girls panted as they collapsed onto the ground, completely drained but relieved to have reached the Foundation Realm.
"Get up. Let’s go to the next area," Bai Lingxi said flatly.
"Wait, we’re too tired! Let’s take a break," Luo Li protested, looking at Bai Lingxi with an aggrieved expression, as if to say: You’re a demon! You made us work so hard, and now you won’t even let us rest? How petty can you be? It’s not like we even laughed at you!
Without a word, Bai Lingxi stepped into a portal and disappeared into the next area.
"Bitch," both girls muttered under their breath as they dragged their exhausted bodies after her. There was no way they were staying behind—completely drained and without Bai Lingxi, they wouldn’t last be able to defend against the beasts.

"Hmm, there are a lot of players here… and even some from other sects," Wang Ming muttered as he stepped out of the portal into the next area. Scanning his surroundings, he noticed many players, some of whom wore the robes of other sects.
Behind him, Min Li also stepped out, looking noticeably paler. She was exhausted from fighting beasts and had just reached the middle stage of the Qi-Gathering Realm.
"Yeah, it seems like it… Let’s go to the shop. I need to buy a pill to recover my stamina and spiritual reserves," Min Li said, urging Wang Ming to start moving.
Wang Ming chuckled. "Sure."
The two walked past several establishments run by NPCs before arriving at the largest building.
’This place even has multiple floors that sell different items,’ Wang Ming mused as he realized the shop was modeled after real-world sect markets, which also had several floors.
"I’ll go buy some pills. Do you want to come?" Min Li asked, pointing at a small shop selling pills on the lowest floor.
"Nah, you go ahead. I’m going to check out the weapons floor—I’ll buy one for you," Wang Ming said casually before heading to the third floor, where various weapons and artifacts were sold.
As soon as he arrived, he saw numerous NPC-run shops selling weapons. Wang Ming headed toward the largest one, which was nearly empty, as the weapons there were the most expensive, and not everyone had enough cores to afford them.
"A customer!" The NPC’s eyes lit up, but his expression quickly soured when he noticed Wang Ming’s attire and basic steel sword.
"What do you want? My weapons are the most expensive on this floor. You should check the other stores—they might be more suited to your budget," the NPC said rudely, causing Wang Ming’s eyebrow to twitch.
’Whether in the virtual world or real life, without wealth, you’re not even treated as human,’ Wang Ming thought, ignoring the shopkeeper’s attitude as he scanned the weapons until he found one.
"I’m buying that," Wang Ming said, pointing at a sword—the second most expensive in the shop, costing hundreds of Qi-Gathering Realm beast cores along with a few Foundation Realm cores.
Thud
Before the NPC could say anything, Wang Ming placed the required cores on the table.
"Of course, dear customer! Right away!" The NPC’s attitude flipped 360 degrees upon seeing the payment. He hurriedly retrieved the sword. Wang Ming remained expressionless as he inspected it before securing it at his waist.
"Hmm, give me those as well," Wang Ming said, pointing at spherical items.

"Oh, the beast-attracting orbs? Sure. How many do you need?" the NPC asked.
"Hmm, about a thousand," Wang Ming said casually.
"I see, a thousand—wait... did you say a thousand?" the NPC asked, dumbfounded.
"Yes, is there a problem?" Wang Ming raised an eyebrow.
"No, just... don’t use them all at once, or you’ll attract thousands of Core Formation Realm beasts at the same time," the NPC warned as he placed the orbs inside a spatial pouch and handed it to Wang Ming.
