Dumped A Scumbag At The Altar For A One Night Stand With A Billionaire-Chapter 128: Make Her Your Wife
Tristan stepped out of the car, and immediately, his vision blurred making him stand still for a second until the dizziness faded away.
"President, are you alright?" Kaleb came up to him and asked, looking on worriedly.
Something seemed to have changed after they left that hospital, Kaleb couldn’t exactly explain the aura around his boss right now, but somehow, it felt deadly.
Tristan nodded solemnly, then proceeded into the Blakewood estate.
’She came to me.’ he thought, ’Only to me.’
That seemed to work to kill off the fire of possessiveness he had been trying to tamp down at the thought of that other man he saw earlier.
Julian Grant, he knew who he was. They’d met several times at business conferences all over the world, at one point they’d even had a business transaction together, never would he have thought, this person would actually be someone in the life of a woman he wanted.
’Please....you have to save her...she needs you...’
Those words...
Celine wouldn’t have driven around the city searching for him if that child had nothing to do with him. His blood type being a match with the girl’s blood type could be a coincidence, but it didn’t completely dispell the fact that he could be the child’s father. Before being a complete asshole and walking up to her to demand answers...answers he might not have a right to, he had to be certain first.
Did their single night five years ago lead to her getting pregnant?
"How soon will the DNA results be out?" He asked Kaleb sharply as they walked towards the entrance of the estate, making Kaleb aware that the president still had this issue in mind.
"Normally it takes up to two weeks for a paternity test, but I’ve instructed the lab to speed things up. We’ll be getting the results in the next five to six days."
"Call the staff at the lab, I want the result in three days." Tristan instructed making Kaleb look up at him horrified.
"But president, speeding up the process could affect the accuracy of the results, instead of the answers you are looking for, you might end up getting more questions instead." Kaleb advised. He had tried to hassle the staff at the private lab to produce the results sooner too, if anything, he was a bystander in this whole scenario, but his curiosity was killing him.
There were two things in this situation... Miss Roberts had been looking all over for the president because she happened to know the president’s blood type and just wanted him to donate blood to save her daughter, or she was a hundred percent sure he would be a match because he was the child’s father. That DNA test would answer the question...but it needed several days.
He could see the frustration mountain up in Tristan’s eyes. Reluctantly, he relented.
"Five days, no more than five days."
"Yes, president."

"What took you so long?" An older man was sitting comfortable behind the desk in a spacious home office. Also present in the room were all of his grandchildren, sitting obediently as if their hearts weren’t full of hatred and rivalry for each other.
For centuries, money, prestige, power had all been entities that turned even siblings of the same blood against each other, and in this generation, even though the old man didn’t want a repeat of that in this younger generation of his grandchildren, the patterns were evident.
But one person always stood out to him among them. Tristan, the broken one, the one who has lost more than any of them in this room, and also the one who had gained and achieved more than any of them.
Beneath the old man’s deep eyes, he look at Tristan with pride as the latter walked majestically into the room, evidently he dominated them all, even his aura was different, he was the perfect choice for leading in this family in the future.
Ryan gave Tristan a disdainful look, "So damn arrogant, keeping everyone waiting for you for so long."
Sabrina gave him a once over, her gaze intensely bored, yet there was envy beneath her gaze.
"Brother." Eve called towards him happily, she made space for him on her seat, expectantly waiting for him to join her but Tristan barely gave her a nod, taking his seat on the opposite end of the room.
Her green eyes lowered in disappointment, it seems he was still mad at her for joining hands with their grandmother to get him married.
"Why did you call me here?" His question was directed towards his grandfather, he barely acknowledged anyone else in the room. There were hints of annoyance in his eyes, they always shone whenever he was anywhere in this house.
George Blakewood could remember a time when he was very close to his grandson and they had a good relationship, but everything changed the moment tragedy struck their family, a tragedy his grandson had run away from till this day, the very reason he denied the Blakewood name.
"Grandson, you’ve been too hard on yourself, you seem a bit pale." The old man’s concern showed throughout. Unlike his wife, he wouldn’t be able to completely hold a nonchalant air towards his grandchildren even if he knew that would mold them into the leaders they needed to become. But as expected, Tristan did nothing to acknowledge his concern.
"I had some important things to attend to, yet you called me here immediately, was it only to notice I was working hard from the company you stole from me?" Tristan’s retort came out cold, his eyes were never directed at the old man, yet his sharp words evidently were. There was clear exhaustion on his face and light beads of sweat on his temple, but as always he never showed weakness.
The old man wiped a look of sadness from his eyes replacing it with a stern expression. "I see you still want your company back after all." George Blakewood chuckled.
"Careful, I might just choose to hand the shares of your company to someone else."
Ryan smiled smugly with a triumphant look in his eyes as he heard that.
"Grandpa, Tristan founded Grayson Corp on his own. It’s still his company." Genevieve chimed in. She had helped take the company away from her brother, had he not given her huge shares into the company, he wouldn’t have lost it today. She still felt extremely guilty about it even though she knew she was doing it for his own good.
He had closed off his heart to everyone, and it made her fear he would someday be consumed by the darkness and loneliness he tried to hide within. She couldn’t let that happen.
"But right now, Grayson Corp belongs to the Blakewood Groups, I can hand it over to anyone of my grandchildren whenever I so desire."
"That’s a completely fair choice grandpa, after all this is business, winner takes all." Sabrina remarked, her sharp eyes betrayed the intentions she held within. Each one of them in the room were competing to get power, and power laid within Grayson Corp.
"And my brother is going to win his company back, I suggest you keep your eyes off things that don’t belong to you Sabrina." Eve replied sharply to Sabrina not flinching from her harsh gaze.
"If it isn’t the pampered little sister, are you actually still on your brother’s side? If you weren’t so greedy for something bigger yourself you wouldn’t have betrayed your own brother to help grandma. You just want the Blakewood Groups too, don’t deny it."
"I don’t want anything to do with the inheritance, I don’t care about it at all. Everything I do, I do it for my brother." Eve’s eyes were on Tristan. She hoped he would see that she truly meant him good. If he didn’t trust anyone else in this world, he would trust her, wouldn’t he?
But Tristan never looked her way, it was as if she didn’t exist in the room with him. It caused her to deflate in disappointment. In the past her brother wouldn’t see anyone else but her, but now he wasn’t even looking at her.
Sabrina smirked, "Oh quit playing innocent, you’re not helping your brother, you only want to..." 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
"Enough!" Tristan’s voice cut through, his face framed with impatience.
"I’ll hold up to my end of the bargain and you’ll sign my company back to me, just as promised." As he said this, he wasted no moment in getting up to leave.
He had agreed to their demands to marry Erica to get his company back, but ever since he saw her again...he had not been able to bring himself to carry through with that plan. Even now, there was a strong aversion within him, fighting him at the thought of getting married to Erica that he couldn’t put a date or time on it.
It made him wonder, if he had never seen her again, never felt his mind get captivated to Celine all over again, would he have married Erica by now?
"I don’t have time to wait for you forever, you have one week to make her your wife. One week or your ownership to Grayson Corp completely disappears."
Tristan halted mid-step, something unknown clouding his eyes.
One week?
