CHAPTER 316 - Liu Family
Draped in the shade of a sky-blue knee-length gown, Andromeda elegantly carried the plain shade with no gems to add to its beauty.
Regardless, her gorgeous face and hourglass figure enhanced the beauty of the dress.
Her cleavage was cunningly exposed with the slit she had as a neckline and straps that hung around her forearm loosely, holding onto her skin and delicately stealing kisses from her.
A small flare hung around her mid-thigh to snag everyone's attention but to keep men at bay with the extra consumption of cloth, above her butt. f𝘳e𝒆w𝗲𝐛𝘯𝐨νe𝚕.co𝓶
The dress hugged her tightly to expose the shape of her heart-shaped butt that Liu Xueyi loved the most.
Everything was perfectly worn by her, down to the blue smokey eye shadow which was cleverly matched with her lovely wristwatch and bracelet which apparently had thin chains and a big oval-shaped single blue gem.
With each step, Andromeda took forward toward Liu Xueyi, and every slight movement of her head, her silver necklace shone under the light with her matching silver purse and heels.
She was definitely the lady of the day even though she was the main reason for the occasion.
She came to a stop in front of him and gave her best smile yet while her eyes raked over her darling boyfriend.
Similarly, Liu Xueyi was suited in a blue and black tuxedo, with matching black shoes having bleu shimmers at the tip.
He wore a silver watch and had his hair neatly combed to the back with a side part, bringing some part of his hair forward.
Her smile brightened when she saw how much effort he put into dressing up and nodded.
"Glad to know you have a boyfriend who never disappoints," Andromeda commented as she lifted her eyes back to his. "You look stunningly handsome, honey."
Was there anyone who hated compliments? Especially when they came from the woman that warmed your heart.
His cheeks puffed up in a proud smile and he dipped his head, respectfully.
"All thanks to the darling I have accompanying me. My woman cannot be so elegantly dressed and I would not be able to match up," he said with a wink.
Andromeda felt her heart flutter. He was such a player with words and she knew he had only just begun.
"You are beautiful. Inside out, and you look simple yet classic," he added.
"Thank you," she moved her head from side to side in a playful manner, enjoying the compliments he showered her with but when she noticed the sudden stop, Andromeda took a pause and lifted her brow at him.
"Continue."
"You are the darling that brightens up the galaxy when you step out. Your beauty radiates not just my heart but the world and whole place."
He winked, adding to his new compliment. He knew he overdid it but he did not care.
Not when it came to Andromeda. She meant the world to him.
"Okay, thanks, sugar boy. Let's go. We do not want to keep the Liu heads waiting now, do we?"
"Oh no, we do not."
He pushed out his elbow for her to take. Once she did that, together they stepped out of the house.
Upon arriving at the Liu mansion, Andromeda for the first time was blessed with a sight that stunned her brain and took her breath away.
It was like a simple mansion but a closer look at it would tell one how un-simplistic that mansion was.
Right from the parking lot, to the front pouch and then the door, leading to the big house, everything was systemically laced with pebbles and edge plants with artificial flower fly light decorating the plants.
While she busied herself admiring the serenity, the carpeted grass around, and the different trees specifically arranged, Liu Xueyi directed his driver on what to do before walking over to her.
"This is just the outside. Do not be so wowed," he instructed her.
"Why can't I?"
"It's not that great," he humbly stated and led her towards the front porch.
Andromeda's face lit up at his humility. To him, he could say it but she knew better.
It was not like most rich businessmen's houses.
They knew what they did when they decorated the house. With no words to counter his, she let him lead the way till they got in.
The moment they stepped in front of the door, the door pushed open, revealing one of the young maids of the Liu residence.
Her small round face held the calmest of smiles Andromeda had seen as the young girl lowered her head to greet them, respectfully.
"Good afternoon, Young Master, Miss Kai. Welcome."
Andromeda felt touched that they were made to know her name. To her, it showed the level of preparation his mother had gone through to do this and how much she accorded her and took this dinner seriously.
Sensing Andromeda's thoughts, Liu Xueyi rubbed the back of her palm in a soothing manner.
He did not want her getting scared or having cold feet at this point.
Yes, it was thorough and showed how much his family prioritized formalities.
But that was that. They were a loving bunch once a person was accepted by them, it was the same thing he did.
And if he fell in love with her, there was no doubt his family would too.
"Thank you," Liu Xueyi gave his thanks. His hands held Andromeda's softly as he spoke. "And…"
His voice trailed off suggestively. Getting the hint he gave, the young lady gasped a little, making her smile widen when she closed her lips.
"The master, the madam and young miss are all seated in the living room," she informed and took a step back, before moving to the side, giving way for them to pass.
Wasting no time, Liu Xueyi looked over at Andromeda, nodded, and took the first step in.
CLICK!
Andromeda heard the sound of the door being bolted behind her. A simple reminder that there was no escaping this business she had today.
She had begun, all that was left was finishing.
"Breath," Liu Xueyi reminded calmly and stroked the back of her palm. "Breath love. I am here with you," he reminded her once more.
"No one can bite you. Now be yourself."
With those last words of encouragement, they walked towards the living room and entered. As soon as they got in, they were greeted with eight pairs of eyes directed at them.
At first, she had thought she was going to easily brace herself since it was just a small in-house family dinner.
But when her eyes landed on the eight people seated in the living room, she felt her knees get weak.
Even Liu Xueyi who kept a calm front all this while, was speechless when those eight pairs of eyes landed on them.
Particularly on their joined hands before their eyes moved over to Andromeda.
He gulped visibly, taking in all the faces before him.
There was no way his mother did not outdo herself again.
He forgot about wanting to allow Andromeda to enjoy the view of the inside of the house and was bothered about any or all of this happening in the first place.
Starting from his left, Liu Xueyi mentally called out the names of everyone present.
There was the head and patriarch of the Liu family, Liu Houyi, his grandfather. Following next was his grandmother, matriarch and dashing damsel of the Liu family, Zhi Zihan.
He let his gaze move over to the next person, his father's younger brother, Liu Shun and his wife Yu Ai.
His lips tugged downwards when his eyes landed on his troublesome cousin, the Liu disturbing twins, Liu Chao and Liu Chao-xing, the elder twin, his sister.
Rolling his eyes, he let his gaze move to the other side, and when his eyes landed on his sister, he breathed out slowly.
Liu Xiao Xin, his darling and pride, unlike her cousins who were a headache. And finally, the man of the day, his father.
Noting properly, his mother wasn't around. Adding her would make the people they were dining with nine.
Yes, Andromeda had all the right to be nervous after seeing this and he would not fault her for it.
He had informed her of three people but lo and behold, nine awaited them.
What was this? A family get-together or what? For all he cared, his mother should have invited her siblings too, then it would be completed.
From the look in his father's eyes, he could very well guess what his father was going to say.
It wasn't his fault. He told his mother so but she just wouldn't listen. A typical Liu Madam.
He sighed and rubbed Andromeda's hand again. To his surprise when he gazed back up at her, there was no sign of fear in those blue eyes of hers.
"It's okay. They are family. Let's go in hon."
For a moment, Liu Xueyi stood baffled by how she braced up and swallowed whatever fear or anxiety she may have had earlier.
Had it not been in front of so many people, he would have kissed and hugged her for her bravery.
