Empress of the Entertainment World-Chapter 383 Trouble Arising
****************
CHAPTER 383
Her anger shone in her eyes gloriously.
She had hoped that by coming into Liu Xueyi's life she would not be a headache for him.
Turns out her plans were thrown down the drain as the others had a different plan for her.
"It wasn't even her fault," Xu Fang approached with anger in his voice. "That scoundrel and her step-sister killed themselves before your presence with their running mouth."
"True but I never would have signed a deal with such a shady company in the first place," Liu Xueyi pointed out.
"Guilty as charged," Liu Xueyi's baritone voice affirmed sharply.
Shocked, Andromeda's hands fell off his shoulder to rest on her side as her jaw clenched.
"Why? I thought it would be because I ruined the business deal for them with his stupid brother's wild behaviour and my step-sister but..."
"For the business deal exactly."
Andromeda was definitely not happy with this and if there was a way to have fixed it she would and never spoken to her useless step-sister in the first place.
"Do not blame yourself," Liu Xueyi's consoling voice lingered in her ears.
She lifted her eyes to look at him, her gaze sharp and piercing but not as calculative as his.
"This was why I did not want you to find out. This isn't your fault, Andy. Allow me to handle things."
She did not know whether or not to agree with what he said but when she saw the rest of his friends rise, all ready to take charge, she felt a certain calm wash over her.
Andromeda nodded, giving Liu Xueyi her go-ahead. His lips pulled back a bit and reassured her with a smile.
Fixing his attention on Rong Bolin, his commanding voice rang out. "I think it is time we make things clearer for the Sun family shall we?"
"Absolutely," Rong Bolin nodded.
"Chu Fengjin, I need all your eyes on the internet... Find the source where the post originated from. Tang Yan, get ready for a court case. I need to sue the sorry bastard for kidnapping Andy."
"Ready whenever you are," Tang Yan nodded.
"Good. Bolin."
"Yes?"
"You have the pieces of evidence ready?"
"Yes. The last criminal should be brought in tonight. Making them confess would be a piece of cake."
"Sweet glow then. Xu Fang," Liu Xueyi called and looked at his side where Xu Fang stood with his hands crossed in front of his chest.
"I thought you have forgotten about your Vice."
"I never would. It is time to cripple their small business. Three days," he narrowed his eyes at his friend. "You know what to do. Make them vanish from the food chain."
"And I?" Hong Chaoxiang inquired.
"Ensure your hospital is ready to receive some souls. You'll be having one or two for a heart attack case and maybe one or two with broken bones."
A mischievous grin appeared on Liu Xueyi's face as he kept his eyes glued to his friend, making sure he understood what he meant.
"Surely. We would be ready to do the treatment. Please make it a bloody mess."
Just watching the six friends discuss their mild plan, Andromeda felt as though she was watching the devil and his five arch-angels plotting to get someone.
She knew better whose side she wanted to take and stay with after that. She did not want to witness Liu Xueyi's ruthlessness.
Similarly, from the corners of her eyes, she could sense their fear too.
Although the men's actions were justified, the boldness and the force made them fret a bit.
"Thank you, guys, for scaring the girls," Andromeda announced. "However, we would love to aid you all in your plans and get back at them."
"For starters, not now. I do not want you involved and targeted," Liu Xueyi stated.
"But we wish to help," Eu-meh chipped in.
"Yes. However, we can," Dolly Roma added.
"I'm glad but as Liu Xueyi said, we need you girls to be safe. This isn't the war everyone should jump in for," Xu Fang explained.
"There will be more in the coming days, Andy. I just know it. We need to be sharp," Liu Xueyi added. "From now on, more eyes would be on you, Andy. Your safety is of paramount importance."
The sound of an incoming call, broke the seriousness in their eyes as all heads turned to face Liu Xueyi.
"Let me guess, the Liu family summons you," Xu Fang mentioned.
Truthfully, when Liu Xueyi took out his phone, his father's name appeared first.
"It's time to face them," Rong Bolin added. "You knew this day would come."
"But not like this. Anyways, I got to go. You guys can carry on."
"Sorry bro. The party is over. Now it's time to get to work," Chu Fengjin stated.
"Thanks."
Liu Xueyi walked up to Andromeda and placed a kiss on her forehead. "I'll be fine. Take care and do not leave the house till my return."
"Okay."
"I should say do not check social media or weibo but I know your curiosity would get the best of you. Be strong."
"I will. Do not worry about me. You be safe."
"Rong would get more guards, I need to make sure no reporter flocks here."
"Do not worry and hurry. Your father's rage won't hold."
"He is on his own. After all, I did nothing wrong. If there is anything I brought his company fame. I should be praised."
Andromeda's eyes flashed a brilliant smile at him as she caressed his face softly. "They are your family and it hurts them that such an important part of your life was kept from them. Never forget, even I felt bad too."
"I get you. I will keep an open mind when I speak to the Liu family."
Andromeda giggled at the way he called his family. Weren't they his family members too? Wasn't he a Liu?
Taking hold of her happy state, he captured her lips in a sweet sensatious kiss before pulling away and dashing off.
Her cheeks burned in embarrassment. She wasn't shy so much when he kissed her with one or two of his friends around but having all five with their female companions, she felt the ground should swallow her.
"Awwn," Eu-meh let out with a sheepish smile.

"Explain this!" Liu Jinchen Cheng bellowed with a deathly glare.
"Father I..."
"You what?" He refuted before his son could do any justice to his situation.
"This did not come out because you wanted it to. It came out because someone gained ground over you!"
Standing before the older version of himself, Liu Xueyi lowered his head for a moment.
ραпdα- n?νe|`c,0m His father who was dressed in his pyjamas furiously pointed a finger at him accusingly.
At once Liu Xueyi knew why the anger was kindled greatly. He must have been woken from sleep only to be faced with such news about his son and others calling their entertainment firm a fraud.
So many articles had successfully blown out from just a small reveal. Many more comparisons followed even to Andromeda and past problems.
Of course, he would get angry, however, Liu Xueyi did not plan on letting him ruin his mood any further than it had been.
To think he summoned the whole family before he got there made him scoff.
"One mistake..." Liu Xueyi began but Liu Jinchen cut him off again.
"Is all it takes to ruin all we have built. How can you not be sensible? How can you throw away everything this family has suffered for? How dare you let this happen?!"
"That is my personal life and it has nothing to do with what you built!" Liu Xueyi hollered in response.
His eyes blazed as he squeezed his fists even more.
He had told Andromeda he would keep their hurt in mind but hearing his father act this way made him lose his cool.
Liu Jinchen blinked in horror. This was the first time his son was getting this mad.
The way his veins popped out from his rolled-up shirt sleeve, the ones on his neck and head and the dangerous dark glint in those furious eyes, he saw Liu Xueyi was very much affected too.
"And do not forget how well my fame in the acting industry helped in building Liu's Entertainment industry. I have done and worked my ass off with two identities for years. Yet, never have I ruined things for you but now when my personal life is concerned you speak selfishly as though..."
"Xueyi!"
His mother had been quiet since, she did not want to speak for fear of saying anything that would hurt her son but hearing him get angry at his father this way, she decided to stop it before a riff went between father and son.
"Please, abate your anger, son. And Jinchen, stop yelling at him or throwing blames. It doesn't help," she cautioned.
Rising to her feet, Liu Jialing made her way to her son and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Son."
His body shook with visible rage as his breathing quickened.
"Xueyi. Son, please."
"Mom."
"Understand. I felt hurt not knowing this part of your life. So please, calm down. I need you two to calm down."
