Ensnaring his Dark Moon-Chapter 231: Seduced by elder brother

’’You should have let me talk to her instead of pulling me out of there earlier.’’

Ruby glanced at the raindrops that crashed against the glass panes, ’’You kept staring at her in the night court like a ghost. Did you think she won’t sense your gaze? She was looking around...’’

Adrian propped himself up on his elbow. Letting out a soft sigh, he played with the woman’s hair, ’’I was in disguise when I entered the Daven Castle as Aiden yet she recognized me. But now, I was only wearing a mask and she looked past me like I was a stranger. That... scoundrel... sister stealer is here too.’’

While Ruby shook her head at his exaggerated manner of addressing Aleister, he continued speaking, ’’And she is here too. I don’t even know what is going on or if my Princess is alright. Do you want me to look at her from the distance without trying to know what is going on?"

Ruby pushed herself out of the bed and stalked towards the window without a piece of clothing on her body.

Her bottom swayed up and down with every seductive sway of her waist.

Adrian’s eyes darkened.

’’We do not know what is happening. Like everyone else, I assumed that the Dark Castle has got another heir but I did not expect it to be Aleister who was supposed to be in the mortal realm. Nor did I expect Esme to be here,’’ Ruby pressed her face on the glass, her voice airy, ’’As a brother, you are losing control over your emotions but I am still rational. Before we find anything, I am not letting you act on impulse. I am trying to find a way to get Aleister for a talk.’’

Adrian glanced at her back for a moment before he nodded, ’’He can pray that he did not hurt my Princess in my absence, intentionally or unintentionally because I won’t let him get away with it.’’

’’He loves her,’’ Ruby sighed, ’’As annoying as he is, he fought with me to almost death even when his powers were suppressed and he knew he could die. But he still fought with me for a book that Esme wanted. I did not want them to look too much into her identity because nothing good was going to come out of it so I tried to stop him and he almost died that night yet he did not stop fighting. I doubt he would hurt her.’’

It pained Adrian to admit it but she was right, ’’It’s raining. A first I have seen here,’’ he whispered.

Ruby smiled, ’’It never rains in heaven.’’

Adrian quirked a brow. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

’’A little girl I know has this special ability to make the sky cry when she sheds tears,’’ Ruby’s smile turned mysterious.

’’Esme,’’ Adrian whispered under his breath, ’’The more you tell me about her, the more I realize I never knew how special my Princess is.’’

In the past year, after Ruby and he got on friendly terms... in bed, she opened up to him about the deepest questions that he wanted answers for.

Most of them revolved around Esme and what Ruby was doing in the mortal realm.

She told him that she was there to protect Esme at the orders of her father and she never revealed anything more than that.

But about Esme’s identity and her unique powers and abilities, she never hid a thing.

’’Shouldn’t you thank me that I am being so gracious and telling you about your sister?" she teased while looking at the rain.

There were countless mer in the sea but to be able to affect the weather in the heaven, there was only one. Esme.

And Ruby knew the reason behind it. The one she was not allowed to mention. After all, Esme was never an ordinary child, to begin with.

Adrian jumped off the bed, striding towards her in his full glory as he kissed her neck, ’’All my injuries are gone and you have nursed me back to health.’’

’’Are you saying it is time for you to go back to the mortal realm?" Ruby turned around and hooked her arms around his neck.

Adrian nodded, ’’After I get to know about what is going on with my sister.’’

Ruby glanced at his chest as the man towered over her. A year ago, she considered it a trouble to spare her attention to a human who was heaving his last breath.

But it was Esme who asked for a favor. The little girl who once used to call her ’sister Ruby’.

For her sake, she brought Adrian with her.

The man was initially not supportive when she tried to get him treated. He threw things, and snapped at her, and not known for having the best temper, she snapped back.

Amidst fighting and throwing snarky words at each other, their bodies however were not harmonizing with their actions.

One of those nights, they ended up melding into each other like they were starving and the only way to survive was having each other.

One night turned to two days and two days turned to four nights and here they were, knowing every part of each other’s body better than their own.

There was nothing more between them except that they loved each other in bed.

And she knew he was going to leave soon. He was the crown Prince of Nevesray. His Aunt Marlene was the Queen in his absence but the right to the throne still belonged to Adrian Reis.

He was going to be the King eventually when he decided to go back.

’’I am going to think of your hands when you are gone,’’ Ruby seductively whispered in his ear, nipping his earlobe.

’’And? You are not going to think of anything else?" he grabbed her thigh, gliding his hand down as pulled her leg up and hooked her ankle over his muscular shoulder.

He grabbed his hardening length and rubbed it slowly on her wet core, ’’About this?"

Her eyes fluttered close, ’’You are not going to stay here even if I say I will think of this.’’

Adrian grabbed the back of her neck, pressing a kiss on her jaw, ’’Then let us make use of the remaining time we have so that we can get each other out of our minds and bodies.’’

Ruby could not agree more with it and he must have seen the consent on her face because, with one rough thrust, he was buried deep inside her.

The room was filled with gasps and moans.

She was sent to protect Esme, not to be seduced by her elder brother. Yet, here they were, with this heavy realization sinking into her head.

A/N: If you guys remember, this book actually started mostly with Adrian and Ruby. It feels nice to give them some screen time lol. Honestly, they never felt like side characters at all.
