Entering Apocalypse in Easy-Mode-Chapter 431: Plan And Gathering
Chapter 431: Plan And Gathering
Bael stepped out of the portal and returned to his domain in the scorched and shifting expanse of the Hell Realm.
The air shimmered with perpetual heat and the sky above was a constant swirl of dark red clouds, occasionally cracked by the roars of unseen beasts.
The jagged towers of his fortress loomed over the land like teeth and rivers of molten stone flowed through the ground below.
Without wasting a moment, Bael strode through the obsidian halls of his stronghold with his forehead in deep frown until he reached his war chamber.
At his presence, the great iron doors creaked open and a group of Demons already stood waiting. This was his most trusted generals and advisors.
"Summon every soldier that can still be mustered," Bael commanded. "Even those deep in the fire pits training. We will need all of them."
One of his generals, a hulking Demon clad in dark armor, bowed his head. "As you command, my king. We will gather all units as soon as possible."
Bael nodded but didn’t sit. He turned toward a group of cloaked figures standing by the edge of the chamber. This was his scholars and advisors in magical matters.
"Scholars, mages," he said, "I have another task. This task maybe looks likee a grim purpose and a little bit cruel."
The lead scholar, an old Demon with eyes black like glowing ink, stepped forward. "What do you require of us, my lord?"
Bael took a deep breath. His gaze turned colder than before.
"Our corrupted followers... the soldiers and servants lost to the madness of the anomaly. I want you to find a way to make them weapons, not to save them."
A heavy silence fell over the chamber.
"You mean to... use them?" the mage asked, clearly startled.
"Yes," Bael said, his tone like stone grinding against stone. "Their souls may be beyond saving but their strength is not. Find a way to bind them, or control them, weaponize them. Their loyalty was once given to me in life. I will use their loyalty in death now."
The general stepped forward cautiously. "That is... a difficult path, my lord. Some of them served you for centuries. They are not mere tools."
Bael’s jaw tightened. His voice became even colder.
"You think I don’t know that?" he said. "Do you think I have not stood among their corpses just few days ago? Do you believe I do this lightly?"
He looked around the chamber, making sure every pair of eyes was locked on him.
"I have mourned them and I still do until now. But mourning does not stop annihilation. This anomaly... this abomination threatening all realms, will not wait for our sentiment. We need every advantage even if it means turning our dead into blades."
The room remained silent. Then slowly, one by one, the demons bowed their heads.
"As you will, Demon King," the mage replied at last. "We will begin the research at once."
"Good," Bael said, turning away. "I want progress by the end of the week. Use the Pit for testing if needed. Secure it from the inside. No risks."
The general saluted. "And the available armies?"
"Ready them for deployment. Keep the full legions on standby. When the time comes, we move with Zeus of Olympus and we move fast."
As the chamber emptied, Bael remained alone for a moment, staring out a window of black crystal at the flaming skies beyond. His reflection glimmered faintly in the warped glass.
He closed his eyes.
"Forgive me... all of you. But the time for mercy has ended. You must fight for me to defeat that creature."
With one final breath, he turned and walked deeper into the fortress.

Zeus walked with measured steps through the gleaming corridors, his expression stern.
He entered the Grand Chamber. A vast, circular hall witth ceiling stretched high above. This place filled in silver and gold and had once echoed with laughter, debates, and proclamations of power. Now, it stood in silence and tension.
At the center of the chamber was a high seat of honor, Zeus’s approach it. He ascended the steps and sat.
Moments passed in silence before the first of the gods appeared.
Poseidon was the first to arrive. The sea god’s armor was tarnished with rust and blood, and his trident glinted dully. His eyes looks clouded. He said nothing, but met Zeus’s gaze with a quiet nod before taking his place to the left.
Hades followed. Draped in black robes that shimmered like obsidian, his presence carried the chill of the underworld with him. Shadows clung unnaturally to his body, and his eyes were sunken and weary. He sat to the right of Zeus.
Then Athena came. Her armor was cracked at the shoulder. Her lips pressed thin in quiet frustration.
Ares come next. Sparks of rage danced in his footsteps. Blood still stained the edge of his axe, and his knuckles were bruised.
Hermes arrived in a blur, though much slower than usual. His winged sandals drooped and his robes were disheveled.
Apollo entered with his lyre slung across his back. The god of the sun looked pale.
Artemis, his sister, entered not far behind. Her bow was slung over her shoulder but her quiver was half-empty.
Demeter arrived next, her green robes faded, her hair now withered like the fields in winter.
Finally, Hera entered in weariness. Her gaze met Zeus’s for a long moment. There was no warmth but there was understanding. She took her seat without a word.
One by one, the gods of Olympus had gathered. Each of them bearing the scars of their battle in their own domain, and the awareness that something far worse will be happening.
Zeus stood and the chamber grew still.
The king of Olympus looked over the assembled gods and goddess and spoke:
"The time for isolation is over. The world bleeds beneath us. An anomaly is rising, an anomaly that we cannot face alone. I have made a pact... with Demon King Bael."
There was a ripple of murmurs, sharp breaths, and frowns.
But Zeus raised his hand, lightning crackling in his palm.
"This is not surrender. This is survival. Bael will stand with us. And together, we will seek the source of this rot and end it."
His voice rang out like thunder, and for a moment, silence reigned again.
Then Poseidon rose slowly. "So the Celestials and the Demons will start march side by side."
Zeus nodded. "Yes. And we will gather all realms to fight together."
