Entering Apocalypse in Easy-Mode-Chapter 454: Sun Flare
Chapter 454: Sun Flare
The fireball slammed into Hachiman with a thunderous booming soind. It engulfing him in a blazing sphere of corrupted flame and mist.
The impact sent the war god hurtling toward the ground like a meteor, trailing smoke and embers.
The moment he struck the terrain the world buckled.
A blinding explosion erupted to the surrounding. The fireball detonating like a miniature sun fused with black energy. A pillar of fire and dark mist surged upward and to the side vaporizing air itself.
The shockwave tore through the surrounding thirty-meter radius. Obliterating floating platforms, splitting ancient trees, shattering sacred stones, and fracturing the marble pathways of Amaterasu’s domain.
Crimson heat and black mist surged outward in a deadly wave, seeping into walls and skies. The fabric of the battlefield twisted from the force of the corruption that spreading with the explosion.
The air hissing under pressure. Buildings cracked, shrines crumbled, and the golden beauty of the Celestial domain of the sun dimmed beneath the stain of chaos.
Asqa watched floating above it all. Her breath star to get ragge after using so much magic power. Her eyes reflecting the inferno below.
A slow smile crept across her lips.
She could feel the blow landed on the Celstial. Its not just a hit but a deep and damaging wound.
She could sense the fracture in the Celestial’s divine aura. The damage had been done. Her strength had shaken a god even though she was a former mortal girl.
She stood a little straighter in the air not because of arrogance but from pride in what she’d earned, what she’d survived, and what she had just accomplished.
But she wasn’t naïve. She knew this wasn’t the end.
A blow like that might cripple a mortal but a Celestial — especially one that seems like a god of war like this — was not so easily to kill. She could still feel his presence beneath the rubble while buried beneath flame and smoke. Its weakened but not extinguished.
Her grip on her wand tightened.
She would not let her guard down for even a second.
High above, the sky also roared with another distant detonation.
A clash of Clyde and the Wind God now spilled across the upper skies. Chaotic magic raged like storms colliding. The battle was so big that they warped the clouds and sent ripples of pressure down to this domain.
Asqa briefly glanced upward.
She could feel Clyde’s chaotic magic. She could also feel the Wind God’s resistance. The storm up there was reaching a peak. She felt it but didn’t let it distract her.
Clyde would hold his own. She trusted that.
Her battle was here and it wasn’t finished.
With a flick of her wand she summoned another thousands of venomous arrows. They burst outward from her.
They screamed through the air, their tips glinting with dark green corruption, all aimed toward the crater where Hachiman had fallen.
And Asqa’s voice cut through the chaos like a blade. Dhe shout, "Just die, Celestial! This cosmos is not belong to you anymore!"
The venomous arrows screamed downward in a relentless storm.
Each one glinted with lethal green light filled with poison and corruption. They struck the crater in a concentrated swarm. Hundreds, then thousands, plunging into rock, ash, and flame.
The ground hissed as the arrows landed, releasing dark smoke and acidic mist with every strike. They pierced stone, melted debris, and spread veins of corruption across the impact zone like a blooming poisonous flower.
At the center, a cracked golden dome barely held together, flickering under the relentless assault.
Hachiman knelt beneath it, one hand pressed to the broken earth the other gripping a broken hilt. His teeth clenched. Sweat and soot streaked his face beneath the kabuto.
His armor was scorched and cracked. His divine aura dimming.
He grunted, forcing a last pulse of Celestial energy into the shield but the barrier buckled.
One by one, the mahic power lining the dome snapped and the shield light flaring then vanishing. Then the dome cracked like glass and shattered.
The poisoned arrows rained inward. One of them struck and piercing through a gap in his leg armor. A searing pain erupted and Hachiman let out a pained scream.
"AGHHHH!!"
The arrow had driven straight through the muscle, the venom instantly beginning to corrode jis flesh.
He fell back to one knee, breath ragged, fingers trembling. Celestial’s blood leaked from the wound. The blood is thick and shimmered mixing with green rot.
But before Asqa could savor the moment something shifted.
The light around her changed.
A vast and burning pressure built in the air above her.
She barely had time to react before the skies tore open with a blinding light. A voice echoed across the battlefield and a wave of solar power descended at her.
Amaterasu had arrived. She descending with fire trailing from her heels and brilliance flaring from her crown.
Her presence burned away mist in every direction, forcing Asqa to squint, recoil, and shield her eyes.
It was like looking directly into the sun.
Amaterasu’s expression was flat. But her fury pulsed in every mote of golden flame orbiting her.
Without a word, she extended her hand.
FOOOM!
A colossal solar flare exploded from her palm. A lance of pure sunfire streaking toward Asqa.
It struck her square in the chest.
Asqa was hurled from the sky like a comet, her body twisting as fire engulfed her robes and armor.
She crashed into the scorched ground below, skidding across broken stone and molten dirt, a trail of smoke following her descent.
The air quaked from the force. Her mist-wings shattered from the impact. Her body trembled with the aftershock.
Pain bloomed across her senses.
The world rang in her ears, and for a heartbeat, everything was white.
Asqs spit the blood from her mouth to the ground.
"Fuck." She cursed and wipe her lips.
Fortunately her defensive skills from before were still active so she don’t suffer too much from that attack.
Asqa don’t bother with that sun Celestial now. She decided to shot toward the wounded Celestial on the ground. She have to kill him first!
