Eternal Freedom's Ascension-Chapter 43: FrozenGenesis Essence Physique
Chairman Jonathan’s shoulders relaxed more, and he finally met Ture’s gaze.
"For you to come see me personally, there must be an important reason right?"
Ture calmly placed the teacup on the table, his expression serene.
"I won’t beat around the bush. It’s about my nephew, Kaiser."
Jonathan straightened his back, his gaze sharp. "Did something happen?"
He was confused. Kaiser was still within the academy, how could something happen without his notice?
"Nat, have you heard about the Hundred Divine Constitutions?"
Jonathan’s pupils shrunk, and his expression became solemn. "Yes, I’ve heard of them. According to several sources from the Nirad Realm, Divine Constitutions are special physiques that raise a person’s aptitude and makes them highly formidable, capable of fighting those in a realm above them! These are legendary divine mysteries that have appeared a few times already!"
As he spoke, his eyes shone with excitement, his mind remembering the sight he had once seen as a child. However, his lips eventually curled into a frown.
"But... along with extreme blessings comes extreme disasters."
He sighed, suddenly slumping into the chair.
Ture nodded, his expression unchanged. "You’re right. The heavenly tribulation they receive during breakthroughs of evolutions are very ferocious, and they suffer from being unable to contain their power, becoming a bomb that would detonate and cause immense destruction."
A complex emotion flashed in Jonathan’s eyes. "You mentioning this... does it mean Kaiser possesses a Divine Constitution?"
If it was true, then this case was truly serious. Although Divine Constitution was like a blessing, it was actually a disaster to most people. Who wanted to live a short life and die from exploding? Only crazy people would!
Ture nodded solemnly. "He does. It’s the FrozenGenesis Essence Physique to be precise."
Jonathan gasped, his eyes wide. "That?! This... this is astonishing! It’s ranked in the top twenty! With this, Kaiser is sure to become unparalleled. However..."
His gaze suddenly turned downcast, realizing this genius was destined to die.
"Unfortunately, that’s his fate. I only hope he can live a fulfilled life and enjoy his youth." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
Ture sighed wistfully. This person was his brother’s son, raised by him. Thus, he was depressed by the situation. In order to not worry Kaiser, he had even kept him in the dark.
Jonathan nodded. "I hope so too. I’m sure he’ll enjoy himself in the academy’s system."
Then, his gaze turned curious. "However, you didn’t just come to inform me, no?"
The Solace Clan Patriarch nodded calmly. "We don’t know when exactly his destruction would happen. And if it happens within the academy, then this whole island might be destroyed. Countless students would die."
Jonathan’s expression changed immediately, and his eyes widened. "This..."
He was shocked, realizing he had overlooked a crucial information. Kaiser’s destruction wouldn’t be a simple death of not waking up. Instead, it’d be an explosion spanning for thousands of meters. How could ordinary Awakened students withstand it?
"No need to be overly worried. That’s why I came to meet you. I want you to look over him. If you sense any anomaly, immediately transport him to the Nirad Realm. There, there wouldn’t be human casualties." Ture said plainly, as if discussing a trivial matter.
Jonathan finally relaxed. There was a solution for this, making him relieved. The Nirad Realm was a vast patch of land without human population, therefore, there would be no human casuality.
"I understand. Thank you for letting me know this..." Jonathan sighed, his expression unreadable.
Ture laughed lightly, then drank the remaining tea in one go.
"Then I’ll have to trouble you, old friend."
As he spoke, his figure blurred, and he had vanished from the room.
...
In the students dormitory, Room 095...
A cool silence enveloped the room, though faint controlled breathing could be heard.
Kaiser sat on the bed, his eyes closed, and his expression serene. In his hands were two soul crystals that were being drained of their spirit essence.
The river of ethereal spirit essence was flowing like a flood, rushing into his body like a black hole. In a few minutes, the crystals had been wrung dry.
"I should stop now..."
Kaiser opened his eyes, then yawned lazily. He had already absorbed 18 Beast-Level Soul Crystals, and still didn’t feel any dizziness.
’Whatever... maybe because I’m not... hmm?’
He suddenly turned, gazing at a corner of the room. His gaze seemed to pass through the walls and travel a distance. However, he shook his head later.
’I thought I felt Uncle’s presence. Perhaps it’s the migraine.’
He discarded the now-empty soul crystals, then lay on the bed. Overthinking wasn’t his style, and sleeping was a friend of his.
Unknown to him, as the lights were turned off, the discarded crystals had a layer of frost growing on them, until it totally enveloped them. Then—
Crack!
The soul crystals shattered into fine particles like stardust, drifting aimlessly in the air.
...
In a dark chamber...
The air was thick and oppressive, filled with the presence of only one being. They stood tall, shoulders broad and posture domineering. Their body was covered by a silver cloak, not even exposing a hint of skin or hair.
Behind them, a projector lit up, and a face covered by a white mask popped up. The person in the projector remained silent for a while, then spoke.
"Supreme, I have received the information and confirmed it. The heir of the Solace Clan is in the academy."
The voice sounded light and youthful, unmistakably feminine.
The silver-cloaked person in the chamber hummed softly. "Good. Then, I want him undone during the upcoming Nirad Raid. It’ll be a heavy blow to those atrocious assassins."
The female in the projector went silent for a moment, then asked hesitantly. "Can we... can we kill him?"
"Hehe." A chuckle replied her. "Of course, the Solace bastards aren’t easy to deal with. You have to use the Beast Luring Gourd to attract those who’d kill him."
"Ohh! Supreme is so wise!" The feminine voice sounded excited.
"I’m curious. How would Ture react when he sees his nephew’s corpse? And will your son’s death be enough to draw your attention? Hmm, Silvan?"
The silver-cloaked person laughed sinisterly, though their voice remained undistinguishable. However, the malice in their voice couldn’t be hidden.
