Neil stood close to the entrance, hearing very faint distant screams, which without a doubt belonged to the people of the settlement.

His heart grew heavy, knowing the disaster had finally arrived.

The humans in the makeshift settlement were the first to be hit by it.

Despite his warning, there was not enough time to do anything and waves of creatures poured in.

For some time the noise of battles and screams continued.

’The voices are gone...’ his brows furrowed, eyes becoming unfocused as the screams soon stopped completely.

All those people, even Hiroshima, Joe, Zeke and Henry with whom he had drunk with yesterday were all just gone.

But why now? They had survived in here for so long, why did this place suddenly wipe them all out?

Or was it external interference? The phantom world? But why?

Neil’s gaze was drawn towards the sea which was no longer even visible, what exactly was there.

Giving him both the feeling of a call and danger.

’I have to leave this place!’ Neil’s mind became firmer.

But even after moving for several minutes, the ringing bell just wouldn’t stop, constantly showing the level 3 danger.

Magnar who was standing over his shoulder suddenly growled, staring forward.

"Nemo, how long will Magnar’s evolution take?" In all the chaos he had forgotten about his familiar.

If Magnar could evolve that would be a great help.

"At least two hours." Nemo replied, her voice just as tense.

"Alright, then go and start the process of his evolution. I will watch over, go help Magnar."

After speaking he took the small familiar who kept growling in the same direction.

"Magnar, go and evolve, there is no time to waste." Only after hearing Neil’s voice did Magnar calm down a bit.

After warning him, the familiar jumped onto the guardian’s shoulder.

After Nemo brought Magnar away, several messages popped before Neil.

The process of evolution began instantly, a warmth enveloped the entire domain.

Moving forward, the snow covering the ground was pushed away but it also decreased the speed a bit.

Soon, Neil heard faint clanking sounds, it was like several sharp metal objects hitting one another.

"Prepare for battle!!" Leon shouted, placing an arrow into the bow.

Soon, a small dark figure became visible, its height nearly two feet.

The domain slowed down a bit, as a rain of arrows struck the creature.

’A scorpion?’ Neil looked at the figure covered in green blood, its carcass broken from all sides.

It had ten tails and the tips of them all looked like sharp blades, they too were covered in green color, likely poison.

"Was this the thing that killed Jet?" Neil wondered.

This was a creature of the phantom planet, which meant they had come out of a link.

Then that huge shadow must have been the tail of the strongest scorpion, the leader of the group.

Whenever a link opened, there was always one leader ranked creature, stronger than all the others.

Neil quickly read its description.

"Large groups..." then there must be more around, just as Magnar had warned.

The speed of the domain rose again, it would be better to leave this place quickly and search for an exit.

This scorpion had no pincers.

Much to his disappointment, soon hundreds of clanking noises began to sound out.

It was probably the creatures of the phantom world which had created the imbalance in this place.

Was it somehow related to him? Or the fact that he was a phantom?

Cursing out, Neil pulled the string as the speed of the domain slowed down.

Soon, a large wave of big scorpions appeared before him.

The ones in the 1st Origin ranged from 1 foot to 4 feet and the 2nd Origin ones were from 4 feet to 10.

The sight of so many of them was not a good thing and there was no detour here, the only way ahead was to kill their way through.

"Sigh, let’s do it!" releasing a long breath, Neil made the domain halt.

A water arrow began to take shape, quickly growing sharper and bigger.

Now that there was danger all around, he would have to be careful of his energy expenditure.

"Shoot!!" A loud shout reverberated as hundreds of arrows quickly flew towards the scorpions who were yet to notice them.

BANG BANG BANG BANG

The arrows pierced through the carcasses of dozens of scorpions, killing a bunch of them instantly.

The water arrow tore through the air with terrifying speed, directly hitting the head of one of the big scorpions, instantly making its brain explode.

Its eyes turned into mush and blood poured out.

Thankfully the leader of the group wasn’t here, otherwise, there would be no chance of victory.

"The scorpions of 2nd Origin have pincers, they shouldn’t be allowed to get close to the domain." Neil spoke, his voice loud and clear.

"Keep attacking!!" Leon shouted, shooting one arrow after another.

But with their strength they could at most kill 2nd Origin Classless scorpions, anything stronger, they could at most target their eyes.

Neil tossed the bow to Leon and took out the dual blades, if they had to go forward then they had to create a path.

Catching the bow, Leon replaced his own and after pondering for a moment he shouted: "Rock, lead the giants to fight alongside our Lord!!"

Although engaging in direct combat with the scorpions was dangerous but there was no other choice.

There were just too many of them and Neil couldn’t fight them all.

THUMP THUMP

Just as Neil jumped out of the domain, a line of giants also followed behind him, their bodies equipped with better armament.

After Magnar’s evolution began, Nemo quickly returned to the battlefield.

Leon handed her the elemental bow and moved closer to the entrance, ready to charge outside if things got bad.

CLANG CLANG CLANG

After the initial surprise attack, the scorpions noticed the group and madly charged at them.

Neil stole the speed of the one who seemed especially bigger in the group and was probably at the Gold Class, rushing in their direction.

"Clear the path ahead, don’t let the tails or pincers hit you!" Neil shouted towards the giants.

With Rock in the lead, the twenty five giants began to tear the scorpions apart, stomping them down to death.

While Neil held off the 2nd Origin scorpions, thankfully he also possessed an area of effect skill.

[Sonic Activated!!]

A wave of mental energy spread around him, making the brains and eyes of many scorpions explode at the same time.

Stronger ones just froze.

Using this moment, the giants began to toss them away while Neil slashed all around crazily.

The domain was moving forward already, entering the swarm of scorpions.

Out of nowhere, a tall tail rose from under the ground, piercing through the chest of one of the giants and throwing him away like a pebble.

"Move back!!" Neil roared, as the ground exploded and a giant figure rushed out.
