Chapter 55 - 55: The Protection Warfare!”

The next day, the team — Kyrin, Senjuro, Rin,

Blaze, and Syvian — boarded the Urban Reaver, a sleek, high-speed hovercraft

designed for long-distance travel. The powerful engine hummed with a low

vibration as they set off toward the Twin Pillars of the SouthVishranta and Dravanta. These two provinces were known

not only for their elemental mastery and advanced technology but also for their

deep-rooted traditions and unmatched martial strength.

As the Reaver sped

across vast landscapes, Rin gazed out the window, watching the scenery shift

from the urban sprawl of Neo-Kyoto to expansive green fields and shimmering

lakes. "So, why exactly are we heading to the Twin Pillars?" she

asked, her curiosity breaking the silence.

Kyrin leaned back

in his seat. "Because if anyone can help us prepare for the protection of

the Aurora Blossom, it's them. Vishranta's Nautical Battlemages and Dravanta's Skyshadow

Fighters are some of the most powerful warriors in the 10 Nations.

We'll need their expertise — and their forces."

Senjuro nodded.

"Besides, the energy signatures we've been tracking... they're coming

dangerously close to the southern borders. If Lord Z's army makes a move, it'll

likely start there."

Syvian, sharpening

one of his kunai, glanced up. "Dravanta's known for their Pyra-Vayu

Flux, right? I've always wanted to see their training grounds. I hear

their Emberblade Assassins move like lightning."

Blaze grinned.

"Sounds like my kind of people."

After a few hours

of swift travel, the Urban Reaver crossed into Vishranta

Province, and the team's eyes widened at the sight. The capital, Anaravatha

Nexus, rose from the coastline like a vision — a breathtaking mix of

ancient architecture and hyper-modern design. Towering crystalline spires

reflected sunlight in rainbow hues, while intricate digital overlays flickered

with information and art. Canals ran through the city, their waters glowing

faintly with Aqua Prana Flux, the province's

signature energy source. Hovercrafts and waterborne vehicles glided smoothly

through the city, creating a sense of perfect harmony between technology and

nature.

The Reaver docked

at a private port, where a delegation of Vishranta's elite awaited them.

Leading them was High Admiral Kael Ravanta, a tall,

commanding figure with flowing silver hair and eyes the color of the ocean.

"Welcome to Vishranta," he said, his voice calm but authoritative.

"We've been expecting you."

Kyrin stepped

forward. "Admiral Ravanta, thank you for meeting us on such short notice.

We have urgent matters to discuss — involving the security of the Aurora

Blossom."

The Admiral

nodded. "Then let's not waste time. Follow me."

As they walked

through the marble halls of Vishranta's command center, the group exchanged

glances, taking in the advanced tech integrated seamlessly with ancient

carvings and energy conduits. When they reached the central chamber,

holographic maps flickered to life above a circular table.

Kael gestured to

the maps. "We've detected disturbances along the southern border — energy

signatures unlike anything we've seen before. Dark, unstable... and

growing."

"That matches

the Abyssal Craven Flux we've been tracking," Senjuro said grimly.

"Lord Z's trying to stabilize his new energy source. He's using his clones

to test its power."

Kael's eyes

narrowed. "Then he's more dangerous than we anticipated. We'll need

Dravanta's forces if we're to stand a chance of repelling him."

"Then we head

there next," Kyrin said. "We'll need the Skyshadow Fighters and the

Emberblade Assassins at our side."

The Admiral

nodded. "I'll send word ahead. And take this — it's a data crystal

containing everything we know about the recent disturbances."

After a brief rest

and resupply, the team boarded the Reaver once more and set off for Dravanta

Province. The landscape changed rapidly, rising into jagged mountains

and dense forests. As they approached Hyderastra Citadel, the city came into

view — a fortress carved into the mountainside, its stone walls etched with

glowing runes of Pyra-Vayu Flux. Above, sleek aircraft

patrolled the skies, while on the ground, squads of nimble warriors moved in

perfect formation.

They were greeted

by General Sariya Vayren, a fierce and agile woman with

flame-red hair and eyes that seemed to smolder. "Welcome to

Dravanta," she said, her tone sharp and efficient. "I trust your

journey was uneventful?"

"Mostly,"

Kyrin replied. "But the real trouble's just beginning."

As they walked

through the Citadel, Syvian leaned toward Blaze. "You think their

Emberblade techniques live up to the hype?"

Blaze grinned.

"Only one way to find out."

In the war council

chamber, the group briefed Sariya on Lord Z's plans and the threat posed by the

Abyssal Craven Flux. The General listened in silence, her expression growing

more severe.

"We won't let

him take the Aurora Blossom," she said finally. "Dravanta stands

ready. Our Phoenix Strike Squadrons and Skyshadow

Fighters will mobilize

immediately."

As the meeting

concluded, Sariya's second-in-command entered, his face pale. "General,

we've detected an incursion near the Ashen Veil Pass — dark energy signatures, unlike

anything we've seen."

Kyrin exchanged a

look with Senjuro. "Looks like Lord Z's wasting no time."

Sariya stood.

"Then neither will we. Let's move."

The team, joined

by Dravanta's elite forces, raced toward the Ashen Veil Pass. As they

approached, the air grew thick with an oppressive, dark energy. From the

shadows emerged monstrous figures — Lord Z's clones, their bodies writhing with

unstable Abyssal Craven Flux.

"Formation

Delta!" Sariya commanded, and the Dravanta warriors spread out with

practiced efficiency.

The battle began

with a flash of flame and steel. Blaze unleashed waves of searing fire, while

Rin summoned devastating attacks from multiple dimensions. Syvian moved like a

shadow, his Mythrian Spirit Flux-infused weapons striking with deadly

precision. Kyrin's guns roared, tearing through enemies with relentless

accuracy, and Senjuro danced through the battlefield, his blade a blur.

But the clones

were stronger than before — faster, more resilient. Despite their injuries,

they kept rising, their bodies knitting themselves back together with dark

energy.

"We need to

take out their core!" Syvian called. "It's the only thing keeping

them alive!"

"On it!"

Kyrin responded. "Cover me!"

As the team fought

to hold the line, Kyrin moved toward the largest of the clones — a towering,

twisted figure radiating pure malice. Dodging its attacks, he fired shot after

shot, aiming for the pulsating core visible beneath its chest.

"Now,

Rin!" Kyrin shouted.

Rin's eyes glowed

with otherworldly power as he summoned a massive energy construct — a spear of

light and flame. He hurled it with all her strength, and the weapon struck

true, piercing the clone's core.

With a deafening

roar, the clone disintegrated, and the remaining creatures faltered, their

strength fading. One by one, they fell, until silence descended over the

battlefield.

As the dust

settled, Sariya approached the team. "You fight well," she said.

"Dravanta stands with you."

Kyrin nodded.

"Thank you. But this was just the beginning. The real battle lies

ahead."

As they returned to the Citadel, the weight of the coming

war settled heavily on their shoulders. Lord Z's forces were growing stronger —

and time was running out.

As they reached the towering Hyderastra

CitadelGeneral Sariya Vayren stood waiting for them at the

entrance, her arms crossed and her eyes focused. "We can't waste

time," she said sharply. "It's better if we move to the forest and

take the area under our control. We'll need it secured for the upcoming arrangements."

The team nodded in

agreement. They knew what lay ahead — the Aurora Blossom Examination, an ancient and

crucial event. The Aurora Blossom, a mystical artifact tied

to the balance of nature's energies, needed protection at all costs. With Lord

Z's forces lurking in the shadows, they couldn't afford any mistakes.

Sariya's Emberblade

Assassins formed a

protective escort around them as they boarded Dravanta's High-Terrain

Reaver — a rugged,

heavily-armored vehicle designed for traversing difficult landscapes. As the

vehicle rumbled forward, its powerful engine cutting through the dense

wilderness, the group settled in for the ride.

Inside, Rin's

curiosity got the better of him. "So... why exactly are we heading to the

forest?" he asked, leaning forward.

Senjuro rolled his

eyes, exasperated. "Rin, either your questions are filled with stupidity,

or you ask them just to sound like you're trying to understand the

situation."

Before Rin could

respond, Syvian reached over and gave him a light smack on the head. "You

idiot," Syvian teased. "The Aurora Blossom Cavern is hidden in the heart of that forest.

It's the most sacred and heavily guarded location in the entire province."

Rin blinked,

processing the information. "Oh!" he said, his face lighting up with

sudden understanding.

Blaze shook his

head, laughing under his breath. "Sometimes I wonder how you made it this

far, Rin."

The team's banter

eased the tension of the journey, but beneath their words lay an unspoken

understanding of the danger they faced. Lord Z had already tested them once —

there was no telling when he'd strike again.

As they neared the

forest's edge, the landscape transformed into a breathtaking expanse of

towering ancient trees and glimmering streams infused with Pyra-Vayu

Flux. The air itself seemed alive, tingling with elemental energy.

They pulled up to

a clearing where preparations were already underway. A grand

ceremonial hall was

being constructed from enchanted wood and infused stone, designed to withstand

both physical attacks and energy-based assaults. Around the site, teams of

engineers and warriors worked in perfect coordination.

Further ahead, the

dense forest was being prepared for the Examination Round — an intense trial meant to test the

skills, strategy, and power of those participating. The forest would become

both battlefield and proving ground, filled with illusions, elemental traps,

and summoned creatures. Only the most capable warriors would survive the

challenge.

Sariya dismounted

and addressed the group. "This area will serve as the heart of our

operations. My forces will secure the perimeter while we oversee the final

preparations. The forest itself is a natural barrier, but we'll enhance its

defenses with Mythrian Spirit Flux and Pyra-Vayu Wards."

Kyrin nodded.

"We'll help. The sooner this place is fortified, the safer the ceremony

will be."

As the team

dispersed to assist with various tasks, Syvian stood near the edge of the

forest, his eyes scanning the shadows. A faint, unsettling energy pulsed from

deep within the woods — a sign that their enemies might already be moving into

position.

Rin joined him.

"You sense it too, don't you?"

Syvian nodded

slowly. "We're being watched."

Before either could say more, a explosion rocked the air,

and the ground trembled. The battle was coming faster than they had

anticipated.

The Empty Reavers erupted into the sky with a deafening

blast, scattering debris as a dark figure emerged from the haze. He was cloaked

entirely in black, his face obscured by a sleek, obsidian mask. The air around

him pulsed with a sinister energy.

Syvian's eyes

narrowed. "Rin and I will handle this guy. You guys move ahead to the first

gate," he said, his voice calm but focused.

Kyrin gave a sharp

nod, and the rest of the team pressed forward, disappearing into the dense

forest.

The masked man

shifted his stance, preparing to attack the Reaver still rumbling behind them.

But before he could make a move, Rin's voice rang out.

"Not today, bro!"

Rin grinned, his hands flashing through quick, intricate gestures. In an

instant, the incoming explosion shifted through space and reappeared behind the

masked figure. It detonated in a massive burst of flame and force.

The man barely had

time to react, his body twisting away just enough to avoid being engulfed

entirely. But the momentary distraction was all Syvian needed.

Whispering under

his breath, Syvian drew a sleek, custom-crafted kunai — its blade gleamed with

an ethereal violet hue, infused with Mythrian Spirit Flux. "Thousand Cleaves," he murmured.

In a flash, Syvian

vanished. The air around them hummed with energy as he reappeared, his blade

striking with impossible speed and precision. The masked man staggered, his

body now riddled with slashes, each cut landing at vital points.

But the enemy

wasn't done yet.

A dark, ominous

aura burst from his body, warping the air with raw, malevolent energy. The

ground beneath them cracked, and shadows coiled around his form.

Rin's eyes flared

with light. "Nope, we're not playing that game."

With a flick of

his wrist, Rin activated his core's dimensional power. The masked man was

instantly sucked into a swirling void of shimmering hexagonal shapes — the Hexa-Dimension.

"Let's see how you

handle this!" Rin called out, his hands forming a final seal. "Hexa-Ascension!"

A barrage of

energy beams rained down inside the dimension, striking the enemy with

unrelenting force. Each impact sent shockwaves through the space, leaving no

room for escape.

As the attack

ended, the masked figure stumbled back into their world, weakened and barely

standing.

That's when Syvian

struck.

Appearing out of

nowhere like a shadow, he launched forward, his kunai glowing with fierce

energy. "Raven Lunge!" he called

out, his form blurring with the sheer speed of his movement.

The strike landed

clean and deep, cutting through the enemy's core with devastating force. The

masked man's body convulsed, his dark aura flickering violently before his form

disintegrated into a swirl of black energy, dissolving into nothingness.

The battle was

over.

Syvian flicked the

blood from his kunai and slid it back into its sheath. "That was too easy," he

muttered, eyes still scanning the area for more threats.

Rin stretched his

arms behind his head. "What can I say? We make a great team."

"Come on," Syvian said, already moving toward the first

gate. "The others are waiting — and something tells me this was just the

beginning."

As they reached the towering Ashwood

Forest, the sun dipped low on the horizon, casting golden light over

the sprawling trees and the preparations underway. The forest was alive with

movement — warriors, engineers, and elemental mages worked in harmony to

transform the wild landscape into a fortified haven. The High-Terrain

Reaver rumbled to a halt

just outside the perimeter, where a massive command hall was taking shape.

Nearby, teams were preparing the examination grounds — clearing spaces while

carefully preserving the ancient magic woven into the forest's heart.

Sariya dismounted

her escort's transport with effortless grace, her sharp eyes scanning the work

ahead. "We need this place under complete control," she said, her

tone leaving no room for debate. "The Aurora Blossom Cavern is too important — if Lord Z's forces

breach this area, it'll be catastrophic."

Kyrin nodded.

"We'll set up advanced security protocols. I'll have my team spread out

and keep watch for any incoming threats."

As they made their

way toward the main camp, Rin's curiosity got the better of him. "Why are

we heading all the way out here, anyway?" he asked, his voice rising above

the sound of construction.

Senjuro sighed

heavily. "Again, Either your questions are filled with stupidity," he

muttered, "or you ask them just for the sake of hearing your own

voice."

Before Rin could

retort, Syvian reached over and smacked the back of his head lightly.

"It's because this is where the Aurora Blossom Cavern is located, you idiot. Didn't I tell

about this," Syvian said, smirking.

Rin's eyes went

wide. "Oh Yeah Right!"

Blaze chuckled.

"You're really on a roll today, Rin."

As they walked

deeper into the forest, the air grew thick with energy — an ancient, potent

force that vibrated through the earth and the leaves. The Aurora

Blossom Cavern was

rumored to be the birthplace of some of the most powerful elemental fluxes in

existence. Protecting it was not only crucial for their mission but for the

balance of energy across the 10 Nations.

When they reached

the heart of the camp, they found a Grand Hall rising in the clearing — a massive

structure made from enchanted stone and timber infused with flux energy. Its

walls shimmered faintly with protective runes, and the workers moved with both

urgency and precision.

"The halls

for the ceremony," Sariya explained. "We're building it to house the Aurora

Blossom safely. But the

forest itself... that's where the Examination Round will take place."

"Examination?"

Blaze raised an eyebrow. "I thought we were here to protect the Blossom,

not take a test."

"This is no

ordinary test," Sariya replied. "It's a Trial

of Elemental Harmony — a

test of strength, strategy, and control. Only those proven worthy will be

allowed to guard the Blossom."

Senjuro folded his

arms. "So, we fight for the right to protect it. Sounds fair."

"But it's

more than that," Sariya added. "The forest is infused with wild flux

— it'll test not just your power, but your ability to work together and adapt.

Fail, and the forest itself will reject you."

"Reject us

how?" Rin asked nervously.

"Let's just

say," Syvian said with a grin, "you don't want to find out."

As night fell, the

team gathered around a large table in the strategy tent. Maps of the forest

were spread before them, along with intel on potential enemy movements.

Kyrin tapped one

section of the map. "We'll set up our perimeter here and here. Senjuro and

Blaze, you'll take the north. Rin and I will handle the eastern watch.

Syvian—"

"I'll scout

ahead," Syvian interrupted, already adjusting the straps on his gear.

"If Lord Z's forces are anywhere near this forest, I'll find them."

Sariya nodded

approvingly. "Good. I'll have Dravanta's forces reinforce your positions.

And if anyone gets through... we'll be ready."

As the meeting

ended, Syvian slipped into the shadows, his Mythrian Spirit Flux blending him

seamlessly with the dark. The forest stretched out before him — silent,

ancient, and alive with hidden power.

It wasn't long

before he sensed it — a cold, oppressive presence on the wind. Drawing his Ninjatō,

Syvian crept closer, his visor scanning for flux signatures. In a small

clearing ahead, he saw them — Abyssal Craven Flux users. Their twisted energy flickered

like black flames, distorting the air around them.

"Time to send

a message," Syvian whispered.

He struck without

warning — a flash of steel and purple energy. The first enemy fell without a

sound, and before the others could react, Syvian was already on the move. Kunai

flew through the air, embedding in their targets with deadly accuracy.

But these enemies

were faster than the clones they'd fought before. One of them unleashed a wave

of dark energy, forcing Syvian back. "So, they're evolving," he

muttered, dodging another attack. "Good to know."

The fight was

brutal and swift, but Syvian emerged victorious. Activating his communicator,

he spoke quickly. "Kyrin, we've got company. Lord Z's forces are already

here."

"How

many?" Kyrin's voice was sharp.

"Too

many," Syvian replied. "And they're getting stronger."

Back at the camp, alarms began to sound. The forest itself

seemed to shudder as dark energy spread through the trees. The Examination

Round had just become a

battlefield — and the fight for the Aurora Blossom was about to begin.

As the final echoes of the Trial

of Elemental Harmony faded

into the distance, the team raced through the dense, ancient woods of the Ashwood

Forest. The ground pulsed faintly with wild energy, and the air grew

heavier with each step — a sure sign that something was terribly wrong. The

distant sound of battle thundered through the trees, and every instinct told

them they needed to hurry.

Blaze ran ahead, his Solarflare

Ember Flux burning

bright in his hands. "I don't like this!" he shouted over the rush of

wind. "Why does it feel like the whole forest's about to explode?"

"Because it

might!" Senjuro called back, his eyes fixed ahead. "If Lord Z's

forces mess with the flux balance here, we're in more danger than we

realize!"

Rin kept pace behind

them, his face tense. "We need to get to Kyrin. Fast!"

Ahead of them,

Syvian moved like a shadow — silent, quick, and deadly. His Mythrian

Spirit Flux kept him in

tune with the natural energy of the forest, and that energy was screaming in

warning. He pushed harder, knowing they were running out of time.

As they broke into

a wide clearing, they saw him — Kyrin stood at the edge of a battlefield, his

weapons drawn and his Core Aetherstorm Catalyst blazing with power. The ground around

him was littered with fallen enemies — Lord Z's dark creations, their bodies

twisted by the unstable Abyssal Craven Flux.

Kyrin turned the

moment they arrived, his face set in grim determination. "Syvian!" he

called out. "We don't have time to waste! We need to end this — now!"

Syvian nodded, his

eyes narrowing. "Agreed."

"Everyone!"

Kyrin shouted. "Let's activate Hybrid Mode and use the attack we've been training

for!"

The team didn't

hesitate. As one, they reached inward, drawing on the power of their cores. The

air around them shifted as their energies surged — light and flame, shadow and

spirit, dimensional force and elemental fury.

Kyrin's Prism

Aetherheart blazed with

radiant intensity, his entire form crackling with multicolored energy.

Senjuro's body

shimmered with Crimson Phantom Flux, his movements

becoming sharper, faster — a deadly blur of red and steel.

Blaze's Solarflare

Ember Flux erupted

around him, his aura taking on the shape of a phoenix wreathed in golden fire.

Rin's Voidwalker

Essence darkened the air

around him, his power creating ripples of shifting space and unseen dimensions.

And Syvian —

Syvian's Mythrian Spirit Flux blossomed

like a storm, his energy drawing on every element of nature. The wind howled,

the ground trembled, and the very air around him crackled with life.

As their Hybrid

Modes fully awakened, the power they radiated became almost overwhelming.

Kyrin raised his

hand, and the others followed his lead. "Formation Alpha!" he

commanded.

The team moved

seamlessly into position — a perfect circle of synchronized force. Their

energies intertwined, merging into a single, devastating current of elemental

and spiritual power.

"Prismatic Genesis Strike!" Kyrin

roared.

The attack erupted

from their combined strength — a spiraling beam of pure, concentrated energy

that tore through the battlefield. The force was unstoppable, ripping through

the ranks of Lord Z's creations with terrifying efficiency.

The dark soldiers

disintegrated on impact; their unstable forms unable to withstand the power

unleashed against them. The ground itself shook with the force of their attack,

and the sky above flashed with arcs of multicolored lightning.

As the last echoes

of the Prismatic Genesis Strike faded, the battlefield fell silent.

The once-overwhelming enemy force had been obliterated, and the air grew still.

Kyrin lowered his

hand, his breathing heavy. "Status report," he called out.

"All clear

here," Senjuro replied, sheathing his weapons.

"Same

here," Blaze confirmed, his flames fading.

Rin nodded,

scanning the area with his visor. "No more flux signatures detected."

But Syvian wasn't

satisfied. He stepped forward, his eyes narrowing. "Something's not

right," he said quietly. "This was too easy."

As if on cue, the

ground beneath them began to rumble. A low, ominous sound echoed through the

forest — the sound of something massive awakening.

"Get

ready," Kyrin warned, his weapons raised once more.

The forest around

them darkened, the air growing colder. And then they saw it — a massive,

twisted figure rising from the shadows. Its form was unstable, flickering with

the same dark energy they'd seen before, but magnified a hundredfold.

Lord Z's voice

echoed from the creature. "Impressive," he said, his tone mocking.

"But this is far from over."

The team stood

their ground, their Hybrid Modes still active and their resolve stronger than

ever. They had come too far to back down now.

"Let's finish

this," Syvian said, his eyes blazing with determination.

And together, they prepared for the fight of their lives.

As the massive, shadowy creature lurched toward

them, its dark energy rippling through the air, Syvian moved without

hesitation. His Mythrian Spirit Flux flared around him, and he prepared to

strike with lethal precision — but before his attack landed, something

unexpected happened.

The creature froze.

Its form trembled violently, and then, without a sound, it began to collapse.

Dark energy crackled and burst from within it, and within moments, the

monstrous figure disintegrated entirely, dissolving into a cloud of shadow and

fading into the wind.

Syvian stepped back,

his eyes narrowing as he scanned the area for any lingering traces of danger.

"It's gone," he said, his voice calm but cautious. "But that...

shouldn't have been so easy."

Senjuro joined him,

his crimson visor flickering as he checked the energy levels around them.

"That explains why we couldn't track it," he said thoughtfully.

"Our Prismatic Genesis Strike must've hit so hard that the shockwave

reached even this creature. It was already unstable — our attack finished the

job."

Blaze let out a

low whistle. "Not gonna lie — I didn't expect that. But hey, I'm not

complaining." He stretched his arms behind his head, his usual easygoing

grin creeping back onto his face. "We should head back to the forest and

get some rest. We've earned it."

Kyrin nodded in

agreement. "Blaze is right. Tomorrow's going to be a long day. Let's not

waste any more time here."

The team made

their way back toward the forest, the tension in the air slowly easing. The

woods were quiet now, the chaos of battle left behind, and the natural sounds

of the wilderness began to return — the rustle of leaves, the distant call of

night birds. As they reached the edge of their temporary base, Sariya

approached them, her face calm but serious.

"It's getting

dark," she said softly. "You've done well today — but you'll need

your strength for what's ahead. You can rest tonight in the woodland near the South

Waterfall, on the second mountain. It's peaceful there, and

well-guarded."

"Thank

you," Kyrin said with a respectful nod.

The group followed

a winding path through the trees, the sound of flowing water growing louder as

they approached their destination. When they finally reached the South

Waterfall, they found a clearing bathed in the soft glow of twilight. The

waterfall cascaded over smooth rocks into a crystal-clear pool, the air cool

and fresh with the scent of moss and wildflowers. It was a stark contrast to

the intensity of the day's battles — and a welcome one.

They settled into

the area quickly. The local attendants had prepared a simple but comfortable

camp, complete with traditional night attire of the region — soft robes

embroidered with intricate designs reflecting the natural elements of the

forest. Once they'd changed, they gathered around a firepit for dinner.

The meal was warm

and filling — roasted vegetables, grilled fish, and fragrant rice wrapped in

leaves. For a while, the group ate in peaceful silence, the tension of the day

gradually melting away.

"So,"

Rin finally spoke up, breaking the quiet. "What's the plan for

tomorrow?"

Kyrin glanced at him;

his expression thoughtful. "Tomorrow, we finalize the security for the Aurora

Blossom Ceremony. We'll divide into teams to cover the forest and the

cavern entrance. Lord Z's not done — we know that. And if today was any

indication, his creations are getting stronger."

Senjuro nodded.

"We need to be ready for anything."

"Good thing

we've got our Hybrid Mode mastered now," Blaze said,

grinning. "That's gonna come in handy."

Syvian remained

quiet, his eyes focused on the flames. "We still don't know everything

about Lord Z's plans," he said after a moment. "That creature... the

way it collapsed — it felt wrong. I think it was a decoy. A distraction."

The others

exchanged uneasy glances.

"You think

there's something bigger coming?" Rin asked.

"I know there

is," Syvian replied. "We haven't seen the real threat yet."

Kyrin's jaw

tightened. "Then we'll be ready."

The conversation

fell silent again, and one by one, the group retired to their sleeping quarters

— simple but comfortable cabins made of polished wood and woven leaves,

blending seamlessly with the forest around them. As they lay in their beds, the

sound of the waterfall provided a soothing lullaby, but their minds remained

restless, turning over the events of the day and the dangers still ahead.

Tomorrow, the true fight would begin. And they would be

ready.
