Silence.

Pin-drop silence.

That was exactly the atmosphere in both the arena and the audience stands.

What the hell had they just witnessed?!

Just as the timer was nearing the end of its countdown and everyone, both the audience and the few candidates left had thought that all the attacks they were throwing at the massive robotic serpent was fruitless, a single weapon art had descended upon it and completely obliterated it.

Adding to that ridiculous sight was how a massive twister tornado had suddenly appeared out of thin air in the sky, completely pulling in and destroying every sing vipertalon that had been in the air like an unstoppable natural phenomenon.

Both occurrences, an aftereffect of the weapon art of two male youths.

Suddenly, as if to shake them out of their trance, a resounding hearty laughter spread throughout the entirety of the arena.

"Hahaha! That was so much fun!" Aiden commented with an exhilarated grin on his face, his legs dangling from the floating platform created by Flynn’s mana slate.

"Fun?! That was by far the most on-the-spur shit you’ve ever done you damn brother of mine!" Flynn retorted with an annoyed shout, his index finger pointed accusingly to Aiden!

"Oh come on Flynn. It all worked out didn’t it? I knew I could count on you to understand my thought process!" Aiden replied with an even more excited tone.

"Sure sure! Now, get, off my mana slates! It’s burning through the little of what’s left of my mana reserves" Flynn responded again, this time with a slightly tired expression.

"But the view up here is so pretty! You also look like a small silvery green ant from up here Flynn" Aiden remarked with a hearty laughter.

’This little shit!’ Flynn cursed inwardly and then, immediately released his control over the slates, causing Aiden to shout with a betrayed tone as he fell from the sky in response to Flynn’s action.

"Hey! It was just a joke! You didn’t have to go that far!" Aiden shouted as he inwardly activated his new spell, repositioned himself mid-air, and kicked off of it, almost as if an invisible platform was there before landing on the ground with a light thud.

The people in the audience along with the few candidates that were left standing, watched the banter play out between both brothers with almost no idea as to how to even react to it but almost immediately, Derek’s merry voice cascaded in booming waves across the entirety of the arena.

"Congratulations aspiring young rankers! You have all persevered till the end and have been crowned victors of the Arcana Academy entrance exams!"

Following that announcement, the candidates that were left in the arena grounds, looked at themselves with unbelievable glances and then, they erupted into a cheer of victory!

The entire audience who had also realized that they had not actually celebrated, erupted into a raging roar of deafening cheers and victory songs.

Although the entrance exams had been a daunting challenge for most candidates to say the least, the entrance exams to the audience however, had been far more of a memorable experience than they could’ve ever expected it to be.

"Yes!!! We did it! We freaking did it!" a few male youths in particular screamed with so much joy and happiness in their voices.

Most of the candidates who were now basking in the praises and cheers that the audience was throwing at them, had exhilarated yet tired smiles on their faces as they staggered and fell on their butts, the adrenaline leaving their body.

Some candidates on the other hand either gave polite bows and waves to the audience, continued their celebrations or also joined in with the victory songs the audience was gracing them with.

However, for the rankers in the audience, especially the higher ranked nobles, they had been in a state of immense shock despite the fact that the audience was presently going wild with cheers of victory.

The {Moonveil Art} that Flynn Belmont had used which was known to be the hardest weapon art to use, let alone master, along with the dangerous twister tornado that Aiden Belmont had pulled off was still as clear as ever in their minds.

They were currently re-evaluating in their heads if the core ranks of these two was at a level where they were actually supposed to be able to pull off feats like that.

’Did the Belmont Family purposely leak out wrong information to them?’ they wondered.

’But that didn’t even make any sense even to them. There was no merit to actually doing all that. The only explanation was that both sons were just insanely talented!’

Following this thought process, a lot of them began to start making plans in their minds to make stronger connections to the Belmont family.

It wasn’t just long ago that their family had partnered with Realm-Lore Elixirs to release the advanced potions and now, if their sons were even talented to boot, wasn’t that a goldmine for them if they could make good connections with them!

Despite their thoughts though, the candidates who were left in the arena and had viwed Aiden and Flynn’s match, suddenly began to flock towards them while excitedly asking so many questions.

"That was amazing you guys!"

"Where did you learn how to battle like that?!"

"I’m so glad we’re going to be in the same class!"

Even as the chatter kept increasing around them, Flynn had sneakily left before they could surround him, leaving Aiden alone to answer their multitude of questions.

As soon as he left though, Flynn had begun heading towards the towering structure of earth and rosy thick vines had emerged.

"Hey Flynn. Leaving Aiden to deal with all that" Adrian called out to Flynn while pointing backwards with his thumb towards where Aiden and the crowd surrounding him was.

"He’ll be fine. Besides, crowds really aren’t my thing" Flynn responded with a dismissive wave of his hand.

"Also. He kind of deserves it with that crazy stunt he pulled" Flynn casually added.

"I see…" Adrian responded after which he then spoke again, this time, with one of his eyebrows arched upwards.

"But {Moonveil Art} huh… You’re also just as crazy as him if that’s the weapon art you chose to learn and master Flynn Belmont" Adrian said.

"Boy am I glad both of our families have a long history together!" the prince stated almost immediately after with a sly grin.

"Always a catch with you, isn’t there Adrian?" Flynn just smiled lightly in response to the red-haired youth’s subtle intent.

"What can I say? The Prince of a nation has to be a sly one to do what needs to be done at times" Adrian gave a confident smile, his face now facing forward as he matched Flynn’s steps.

’But really... Just how insanely talented is he to not only be able to use but also master the first form of the hardest weapon art…’ Adrian inwardly said to himself.

’And judging by that spell he used, it’s safe to say that even with a lower core rank, he has superb mana control if he’s still able to walk casually after all that period of continuously surfing through the air…’ he internally continued

On his way now to the towering rosy wall along with Adrian who was walking beside him, Flynn had spotted Ivar walking towards him along with a petite black-haired young lady with big blue eyes.

"Hey Ivar. Your muscles must be pretty sore by now huh…" Flynn had commented upon seeing Ivar walk towards him with a pained wince.

"You have no idea Flynn. I’m definitely creating a much more potent pain-reliever than the one my sis made" Ivar said with a slightly pained expression.

Ivar then suddenly spoke, almost as if he forgot to do something important.

"Oh and this is M-"

Before he could complete his sentence though, Flynn and Adrian completed his statement.

"Maya Arendelle" they spoke in unison, surprising both Ivar and Maya herself, who presently had a timid expression on her face.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you Your Highness and Flynn Belmont" Maya suddenly gave a slight graceful bow.

"The pleasure is ours…" Adrian and Flynn responded calmly, but almost immediately, Adrian spoke again, this time to Ivar who was still surprised by how Flynn knew her.

"Ivar Steelblade. Pleasure to finally meet you" Adrian said while moving over to Ivar and patting his back gently with an inviting smile.

"Ah yes. It’s my pleasure to meet you too" Ivar quickly responded, despite still being in a surprised state of mind

He who had been quite surprised by Flynn knowing Maya, was once again taken aback after realizing that the red-haired youth beside Flynn, was the Crown Prince of Arcadia. Said person was now talking to him with a smile on his face.

Although he had heard Adrian’s name before, he had never actually seen a picture of him, talk less of seeing him in person.

Flynn however had a few words to say as he walked past both of them, Maya seemingly waiting behind for the prince to be done conversing with Ivar.

"Be careful Ivar. He’s a crafty one" Flynn had advised his close friend with a casual tone.

This gesture of his caused the red-haired youth have his eyes twitch slightly in annoyance but seeing how Flynn really didn’t care, Adrian once again put on his best smile and kept talking to Ivar.

Flynn who was now almost close to the pillar of earth and rosy vines Ivelia and Caroline were atop, subtly glanced to his right to see Lucas and Ben Steelblade conversing in the far distance.

The youth however just averted his gaze and kept walking casually till he reached his destination.

Now, as he angled his gaze towards the top of the rosy-vined and walled structure, Flynn watched in silence for few seconds as Ivelia and Caroline seemed to be conversing over something with smiles on their faces.

However, it didn’t even take a few seconds more before Ivelia also spotted him and almost immediately, she waved at him with a radiant smile on lips as she beamed at him happily, her face getting brighter by the second.

Flynn however just walked closer to the towering pillar, and without saying anything, stretched his arms out while looking at the orange-haired lady, almost as if telling her to jump.

Ivelia without even thinking twice, suddenly jumped in response to his gesture, much to Caroline’s surprise.

As Ivelia fell through the air, the rush of wind ruffling her short bob, she felt her momentum stop as she landed into Flynn’s arms gently, almost as if he used mana to soften her fall.

Flynn just smiled at her as she now looked at him tenderly with her unique shade of orange and blue irises, a gentle smile also present on her face.

"No hesitation huh, Ivelia?" Flynn asked rhetorically, one of his eyebrows arched up in amusement.

However, Ivelia just placed her arms around Flynn’s neck and with a smile, responded to his remark with a coy smile of her own.

"None at all…"
