Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 137: Project: Nostradamus
After his meeting with Eleanor, Kaiser fully realized how the academy had cut him off from the outside world. Here, everything seemed to function in a closed circuit. The same faces, the same corridors, the same rules. A neatly ordered universe that gave the impression of being protected from everything happening outside.
It was like a bubble. A comfortable, luxurious bubble, but a bubble nonetheless.
The chaos of the outside world seemed distant.
Ariana had also sent him the property titles along with the key to his new manor. All accompanied by a short, no-frills message. Yet another proof of the speed and seriousness with which she handled her affairs.
Kaiser twirled the key between his fingers, thoughtful.
’I wonder what she’s ultimately going to ask me in exchange for acting so quickly on my interests...’
He was not naive. In this world, nothing was ever free. Every favor had a price, every advantage hid a counterpart. He had learned that the hard way, in his previous life as in this one.
Obtaining something always implied a sacrifice.
And the greater what one desired, the greater the required sacrifice. Even more so when dealing with this woman.
’When the time comes, we’ll see,’ he finally told himself, brushing the thought aside.
For now, he had a much more concrete priority. The key to his manor was finally in his hands. He wanted to see with his own eyes what this gift really represented.
Without wasting a second, Kaiser headed toward the East side of the academy. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
This area was separate. Unlike the rest of the campus, it was strictly reserved for a handful of carefully selected individuals. The academy already had dormitories for its students, ranging from the simplest rooms to veritable suites worthy of royal hotels. But even that was not enough for certain profiles.
Thus this private residential area had been created.
A few influential professors and certain elites owned their own manor there, isolated from the rest of the campus. A rare privilege that clearly highlighted the power and influence of the establishment.
After all, what other place in the world could afford such excess?
Only the academy was capable of it, fully supported by the Holy Cathedral.
After about fifteen minutes of walking, Kaiser arrived at the entrance to the residential quarter. A metal barrier stretched out in front of him, accompanied by a small device fixed on a pillar. Its design was strange, almost futuristic, contrasting strongly with the surrounding architecture.
Kaiser took out his student card and placed it against the device.
A light beep sounded.
A few seconds later, the barrier slowly opened, allowing him passage.
"Convenient..." he murmured as he advanced.
Inside, the view was striking. A wide paved alley stretched out before him, bordered by majestic trees whose branches let a fresh breeze pass through. The leaves rustled gently, creating a peaceful atmosphere.
But one detail quickly caught his eye.
His manor was still far away.
Very far.
Kaiser stopped for a moment, observing the distance separating him from his future home.
"No way I’m running that..."
There had to be some means of transport provided for this kind of situation. After a few minutes observing the surroundings, he finally spotted a small metal structure a bit off the main alley.
A sort of small locomotive, designed to travel the entire residential quarter.
Without hesitation, Kaiser boarded. He was the only passenger. A simple button was enough to start the machine.
With a light click, the locomotive set off.
The journey allowed him to admire the various manors in the quarter. All were impressive, each with its own style. Some had an austere, military look, others displayed ostentatious luxury, with fountains, statues, and carefully maintained gardens.
After about thirty minutes, the locomotive finally slowed down before stopping.
Kaiser looked up.
His immense manor stood before him.
The building slightly dominated the terrain, built in light stone, with wide columns supporting a balcony that circled the upper floor. The large windows reflected the daylight, giving the whole an impression of power and controlled elegance.
A wrought-iron gate marked the entrance to the property, already open, as if waiting for him.
Kaiser descended slowly, taking the time to observe every detail.
"Not bad... really not bad."
He approached the main door, massive and finely carved. The key turned without resistance in the lock. Inside, the manor was already fully furnished.
The entrance hall was vast, lit by a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The marble floor reflected the light, while the walls were decorated with paintings depicting landscapes and historical scenes.
Kaiser went through the rooms one by one. A spacious living room with comfortable sofas, a library filled with books, a dining room capable of seating several dozen guests. Each room breathed luxury without falling into excess.
Upstairs, the bedrooms were just as impressive. The one that seemed to be the master bedroom had a large bed, a solid wood desk, and a large window overlooking the gardens.
After finishing his tour, Kaiser sat for a moment on the edge of the bed.
He had no classes scheduled for the afternoon. And since the staff would only arrive tomorrow...
"Might as well stay here for the night..."
The atmosphere of the manor was calm and soothing. Perfect for thinking.
Night fell quickly.
Kaiser now found himself seated at his desk in his newly acquired bedroom. A lamp dimly lit the room. He leaned back against the chair, arms crossed.
"Maybe it’s time to put Project Nostradamus into action..."
But immediately, a question imposed itself.
"How should I go about it..."
Just as the famous Nostradamus had left behind ambiguous prophecies, Kaiser possessed knowledge of the future. At least, the broad outlines. His idea was simple in appearance: make people believe he had this ability by revealing carefully chosen fragments.
But the danger had to be finely studied.
Revealing the future imprudently could backfire on him. If the events he knew came to change in one way or another, the consequences could be catastrophic, first and foremost for him.
"Damn... I still need to find a way..." Because whether he liked it or not, he had already caused quite a few butterfly effects, and little by little. These future knowledge would become completely useless.
He stared at the ceiling, letting his thoughts intertwine.
Then suddenly, an idea crossed his mind.
"What if... instead of all that, I started revealing secrets..." His face lit up. "So I’m a fucking genius..."
His plan took shape almost instantly. He would go to Tenebris. There, he would pass off his revelations as ancient writings dating from the time of the thousand-year war.
Most people would not care. And that was normal.
But those whose secrets would be revealed, they could not ignore these writings.
They would believe them.
And in return, the system would not fail to react.
"All I need is for the notebook I write to somehow end up in the hands of the greatest in this world..."
A light smile stretched across his face.
"After all... it’s the powerful who rule the world."
