Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 176: Second movement:Quarter Moon
Kaiser clenched his teeth, his arms already trembling uncontrollably under the effort and the pain of the chains. Sundering Eclipse was devouring his endurance at a frantic speed, draining his aura and vitality.
’That’s the difference...’ he thought. ’Between facing a normal A-rank warrior... and trying to survive against the heir of a legendary family?’
He turned his head for a fraction of a second, just enough to catch sight of Olivia frozen farther away.
"OLIVIA!" he shouted, "GO GET THE CLAYMORE! I’LL HOLD HIM!"
Godwin smiled again, but it was no longer a smile of contempt. It was the smile of a predator seeing its prey make one last mistake. His fists fully ignited, becoming miniature suns.
"Holding back a Pendragon... Empty words," he said.
And the gravity, until then contained, collapsed onto Kaiser, while Godwin’s flaming fists rose for an assault that promised to be final.
"I’m going to break your bones and take your half-beast as one of my umpteenth concubines."
Kaiser briefly turned his head. He saw Olivia finally rush toward the mountain summit.
The pressure was becoming unbearable. Every molecule of air seemed to weigh tons, crushing his lungs and weighing down his limbs.
Kaiser held his position, the two blades crossed in a defensive guard in front of his chest.
His arms, though reinforced by Aura Coating, trembled under the tension. But his mind was racing at full speed. He waited. He calculated every second, every micro-expression of Godwin.
His plan was clear: as soon as Olivia turned her back and gained enough distance.
’I’ll call on Black Neon to eliminate this arrogant bastard.’
His aura pulsed violently; the problem with Aura Farming was that it really wasn’t useful against someone far too strong.
’The second he humiliated me by throwing me against the walls, I lost the Aura boost.’
"Sundering Eclipse..." he murmured, the words charged with power. "Second Movement: Quarter Moon."
The twin blades vibrated, emitting a hum that made the air around Kaiser tremble. The aura surged brutally along the chains, entered his flesh, then projected into the swords.
This time, it did not form a simple layer of aura.
Kaiser leaped forward, leaving unstable afterimages in his wake, ghostly arcs.
He disappeared in a fluid chain of movements. His body pivoted, changed angles without ever stopping.
The white blade traced an ascending arc, immediately followed by the black blade in an opposing trajectory. The two strikes were not meant to hit directly. The afterimages struck before Godwin even finished his movement.
Godwin furrowed his brows and reacted on reflex. He crossed his arms and released his gravity. Space contracted around his fists, his flames intensified, and he struck straight ahead. The impact should have crushed Kaiser.
But Kaiser parried.
He deflected the strike with the black blade, while the white blade continued its course. The Quarter Moon afterimages came into play.
The residual aura bent at the angle of the block, slid along Godwin’s fist, and redrew the attack into a secondary crescent. The thick air was sliced with a violent whistle.
Godwin stepped back one pace, surprised.
"You’re much more powerful than I thought... I’ll take great pleasure in crushing you."
Kaiser immediately followed up. He pivoted on his heel, used Aura Repulsion to propel himself sideways, and struck diagonally. Godwin responded with a descending fist strike charged with destructive flames. The two attacks crossed.
*BOOOOOOMMM*
The gravity tore apart.
The afterimages struck first. Godwin’s shoulder was gashed without the blade touching it, the cut appearing as if space itself had been cleaved. In the same motion, a second trail of aura sliced his thigh. The force field fragmented, the flame flickered.
"Tch...!"
"So you’re not running your big mouth anymore?"
Godwin spun violently and struck at point-blank range. His fist passed a few centimeters from Kaiser’s face, but the gravitational pressure hit him full force.
Kaiser was thrown backward, gouging the rock for several meters. He stopped on his knees, one hand on the ground, the other still gripping his swords.
He immediately stood up.
Kaiser attacked again, faster. Every block became an attack. Every attack left an invisible blade behind. Godwin struck with growing rage, his Fist Arts crushing the terrain, his flames blackening the rock.
But with every exchange, the gravity split.
With every strike, a new gash appeared.
He was facing someone who forced space, gravity, and aura to obey his own logic, at the cost of his body.
And Kaiser, panting, arms trembling, kept advancing, knowing that every second gained this way was torn from his own endurance.
Godwin, surprised by the sudden intensity, retreated two steps, a low growl escaping him.
"Hmph..." he sneered, observing Kaiser panting, sweat and blood mixed on his face. "You’re burning yourself out just to stay standing. You should have run away with your tail between your legs! Little shit."
The Arcane mana surged and his hair gradually changed.
"The Pendragon lineage..." Kaiser murmured to himself.
’It was good to gauge the true power of a member with a lineage blessed by a Seraph... Now let’s call the Beasts.’
"Huh?"
Kaiser briefly turned his head. He saw Olivia finally rush toward the mountain summit.
....
A few minutes earlier.
The Pendragon claymore was planted in a rock, radiating an arcane glow. She took it and placed it in her storage ring.
Instead of fleeing, she froze. Her gaze was lost, turned toward the fight below.
Her expression was one of deep, violent inner reflection.
’The aphrodisiac could create an obsessive desire, but it didn’t command self-sacrifice. Why is he risking his life?’
"Why is he helping me achieve my goal? He has nothing to gain from it."
The questions crowded in, but one certainty emerged, stronger than the fear of Pendragon.
"I can’t leave like this."
Then she turned around. And started running, descending the slope.
Kaiser saw the movement from the corner of his eye as he prepared to call the Beasts. His blood ran cold. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"Shit..." he growled between his teeth, his heart suddenly gripped by sharp anguish. "What is she doing here?"
If she stayed, everything was lost. He could not use his identity as The Predator.
Godwin, noticing Olivia’s run, burst into a thick, contemptuous laugh.
"You’re coming to offer your life as a pair?"
He struck the ground with his fist. The gravity no longer fell as pressure, concentrated on the area where Kaiser and the approaching Olivia stood.
Kaiser used both swords to parry.
