Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 266: There Are No Cowardly Bitches in Dark Tetrad
Jasper clenched his teeth in pain, but Aidan barely raised an eyebrow.
He used a vial on the battered limbs as well; a green glow briefly enveloped the elf’s knees, which began to reform, then, in a movement of methodical cruelty, he pressed down again. The freshly fused bones gave way with a wet, bloody squelch.
On the other side, Kaiser watched the scene, completely powerless while constantly pushing back heretics from Spectrum. He saw Jasper reduced to a wreck, then his gaze swept over the other members of Dark Tetrad, all already lying in the dust.
< Art : Sundering Eclipse >
< First Movement : Crescent Moon > Kaiser murmured as he launched himself toward Aidan.
A blade of pure white, devastating aura sliced through the air with a whistle, tracing a perfect arc toward Aidan’s throat. For an instant, Kaiser thought he saw surprise flash through his enemy’s eyes.
But it was only an instant. Aidan slowly turned his head, and instead of dodging, he simply raised his hand. His fingers closed around the energy blade. He clenched his fist, and the attack shattered into a thousand glowing particles that faded into the air.
"Mediocre," Aidan declared in a bored voice. "Do you really think that alone is enough to hurt me?"
Then he seized Kaiser, his hand clamping around his throat and lifting him off the ground. Kaiser struggled, grasping the wrist that was choking him, but his strength was already leaving him. Then Aidan drove a punch into his abdomen. The impact did not throw Kaiser backward; instead, all the force sank inward, bursting his organs in such blinding pain that his vision darkened. He spat a mass of black blood, his lungs desperately searching for air.
Aidan held him like that, observing his agony with clinical detachment. Then, as he had done with the others. Just enough to keep him alive, to keep him conscious.
Just enough so he would feel every second of what was coming next. Then he slammed him to the ground with a dull thud. All of this took place in only five minutes: every member of the Dark Tetrad lay on the floor, unable to stand.
Aidan Silvernight stood above them, his clothes still impeccable, not a single strand of hair out of place. He showed no sign of fatigue, no emotion, as if he had simply stepped on insects.
"Time to finish this," Aidan said in a neutral voice.
...
Blood dripped slowly onto the stone. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Nox was slumped against a wall, his left arm hanging at an unnatural angle. Jasper lay a few meters away, his blindfold soaked in blood, fingers clenched over the wound in his side. Julian hadn’t moved for several minutes, lying on his back in an ever-widening purple pool. Kaiser, on his knees in the center of the cavern, was trying to catch his breath, his body covered in wounds.
Aidan raised his hand. Mana began to gather and condense in his palm.
But suddenly—
A shiver ran through the air.
Aidan stopped. He sensed something abnormal.
At first it was just a breeze...
Then the temperature plummeted.
"What the—"
The blood on the ground began to freeze at the edges. A glacial mist spread around Julian’s body, crawling like a living creature.
*Crack*
The stone beneath him froze.
Crack... Crack...
The ice spread, covering the floor, creeping up the walls, climbing over the corpses of the heretics still lying in the cavern. A glittering layer of frost covered everything in its path.
Aidan frowned slightly. The mana he had begun to deploy met resistance.
"This pure mana... it’s almost like when an elf enters resonance with their guardian spirit..."
A pure elemental mana suddenly emanated from Julian’s body.
The frost invaded the entire space, freezing almost everything nearby. Kaiser’s wounds stiffened under the cold. Nox stopped groaning, eyes fixed on the scene.
Then...
Julian moved.
His fingers clenched on the frozen stone. His palms slid, searching for support. He pushed with his arms, lifting his torso off the ground.
He stood up.
The blood covering his face had frozen, forming dark red ice crusts on his skin. His black hair floated in the air as though carried by an invisible sea, lifted by a nonexistent current. Bluish gleams now ran through every strand, flowing along the tips like rippling discharges.
His eyes opened.
They shone with a cold light.
Behind him, the icy mist thickened. It swirled, took shape, condensed into an indistinct silhouette that slowly emerged from the white void.
A feminine creature.
A siren made of water and ice. Her hair was frozen cascades, her eyes bottomless wells, her tail a swirling mass of frost that floated in the air without touching the ground. She stood behind Julian, arms slightly spread, like a silent guardian.
Kaiser felt his heart skip a beat.
His eyes widened.
’The last time I felt pressure like this... was the day Olivia awakened her sand power... To this day, I still don’t know what it really means.’
"You think... it’s that easy to finish us?"
Julian’s voice had changed.
It was deeper, with a rippling effect. It resonated in the chests of those who heard it, vibrating their bones, freezing the blood in their veins.
His mana suddenly surged.
*BOOM*
A wave of cold exploded around him, hurling the remaining Fallen against the walls. Several of them froze instantly, locked in fighting stances, ice statues caught in their final movement. Their faces, frozen in expressions of surprise, disappeared under a thick layer of frost.
Even Aidan had to take a step back.
His boots crunched on the frozen stone. His golden eyes shone more intensely, but for the first time, it wasn’t superiority they reflected.
It was interest.
"Oh? You’re not as simple as you appear."
Indeed, even though no one knew it yet, Julian was half-spirit on his mother’s side, and his elemental mana was almost completely pure since Irene—or rather the Pleiades Merope—was no ordinary spirit.
"You had your fun..."
The ground cracked beneath his feet. Lines of ice raced through the stone, sinking deep into the rock.
"But now... it’s our turn."
A light laugh echoed.
"Magnificent! Julian, I didn’t know you were this badass!"
Nox stood up, stretching as if he had just woken from a nap. He rolled his shoulders, twisted his torso left then right, and several cracks rang out.
"Haaa..."
He cracked his neck with a sharp motion. His arm, which had been hanging at an impossible angle, snapped back into place with a dull sound. He didn’t even grimace.
Then an enormous smile stretched across his face. A smile that bared all his teeth, narrowed his eyes, and suddenly made him terrifying.
"Now things are getting interesting."
His muscles suddenly swelled, red veins appeared under his skin, snaking along his arms and neck, and his eyes turned completely black.
*CRACK*
Red anti-magic lightning burst around him, making his hair stand on end, nullifying all magic in its path, erasing spells as if they had never existed.
The pressure inside the labyrinth rose another notch.
Nox spun the lollipop in his mouth. The white stick passed from one side to the other, clicking against his teeth.
"Get up Del Luna, stop pretending."
A sigh rose behind them.
"I suppose... we can’t hold back anymore."
Jasper slowly raised his hand... and removed his blindfold.
The fabric fell. It spun for a moment in the air before landing on the frozen ground.
His eyes opened.
Two iridescent pupils, colors constantly shifting, as though entire galaxies were turning inside them. All of it swirled in his eyes, creating hypnotic patterns, infinite spirals.
"Moon eyes!?" Aidan seemed surprised.
Those eyes vibrated mana itself, creating distortions in perception, making eyes doubt what they were seeing.
"I hate using this..." he murmured.
At the same moment—
Kaiser disappeared.
A gust of wind tore through the area. The air screamed in his wake, ripped apart by the speed.
"< Sundering Eclipse... >"
His voice resonated from nowhere and everywhere at once.
His silhouette appeared in front of Aidan.
His eyes now glowed a deep red. Red like the hunger of a predator that can never be satisfied.
A predatory aura literally devoured the space around him.
"< First Movement : Crescent Moon >"
"There are no cowardly bitches in the Dark Tetrad."
"Let’s see it!"
