"Sir Edward!"

"Sir Edward!"

Two voices shouted as the match ended.

Testu and Richard ran onto the platform toward the fallen Edward.

"Argh!" He was still groaning in pain. His face was covered in bruises given by Noah. Blood was coming out of his nose and mouth. With Testu’s help, he sat upright.

"Take him to the infirmary," Joran said from his place. Both Richard and Testu nodded, helping Edward stand up.

"Cough!" Edward coughed as more blood came out of his mouth. Then he glared at Noah with hatred.

"Y-you won’t get away with this!" Richard also glared at Noah, giving him a threat.

"This is not over yet!" Testu did not remain silent either.

Noah looked at them with a wide smile on his handsome face, which looked somewhat evil.

"Scram off!" What came out of his mouth was nothing good.

Testu and Richard flinched at his words, then took Edward toward the exit of the training facility.

Joran glanced at Noah. "I thought you would lose control and keep beating him even after I ended the duel. Well, I guess you did not lose control in excitement. Good." Saying that, Joran left.

Noah then glanced to the other side, where the main characters were standing. They were watching him with interest. There were other students as well who had come to watch his battle, but they were just extras. Nothing important.

Noah got off the sparring platform and walked toward them. Everyone watched him as he got closer.

Finally, he stood in front of Damien. They were similar in height. Noah’s blue eyes met Damien’s hazel eyes.

They remained silent and continued to stare at each other as if it were some kind of staring competition.

"You were the one who provoked that Edward. Why the hell did I have to fight him?" Finally, Noah broke the silence in irritation.

Everyone looked at him in surprise, as if taken aback.

Damien blinked a few times. "What? I did not provoke him."

"You did not? You were the one who tried to save Mary. It was your responsibility to fight him. When he came to me, you should have intervened, just like you did for Mary. Or did you do that because she is a cute woman?"

"What?" Mary, who was beside Damien, blushed slightly. She adjusted her glasses. Looking at floor.

"Pfft." Kaelan nearly burst into laughter. After all, his rival was getting accused of a very weird thing. It was funny for some reason.

"Hey, what are you saying?" Damien question with frowned. Then continued, "Well, you see Edward turned to you suddenly, trying to provoke you and you are a man. You could handle that yourself. So I didn’t interfere "

"Tch." Noah clicked his tongue. He knew why Edward had suddenly turned his attention to him. After hearing Damien’s name, the trio had actually become afraid. Though Edward did not show it on his face, Noah knew that Edward was strong against the weak and weak against the strong.

So when he saw Noah, he changed his target so he would not get embarrassed in front of other students in the cafeteria, after acting high and mighty only to become afraid after knowing Damien was rank one student.

Emma looked at Noah with a disapproving expression, not liking how he was talking to Damien.

"Guys, calm down. No need to escalate things." Lyria walked in, trying to calm them down, not wanting another scene here. Her blonde hair swayed gently.

Noah looked at her from up close. She was even more beautiful from near.

"You really fought well, Noah. I am happy that you taught him a lesson."

"Thank you, Lyria." Noah turned his tone soft and respectful. A gentle smile appeared on his handsome face.

"It is my pleasure to get a compliment from someone like you. Even though I am lower ranked, you are still saying that to me. It is a big thing. It shows how kind you are."

Once again, the others were taken aback.

Even Arisha, who did not show much reaction, raised her eyebrow.

He had just been talking in an irritated and disrespectful tone to Damien. Suddenly he changed completely.

"Haha, no problem. I just said what I think." Lyria smiled at him gently. Her soft pink eyes were warm toward Noah. It was not just for him. Lyria was kind to everyone.

"Well anyway, you really fought well against Edward," Leonardo joined in with a hungry grin.

"Thanks, buddy," Noah replied casually with the same smiling face.

Of course, it was not like their thoughts about Noah had changed or anything. Kaelan was still looking down on Noah from his place.

Emma had an annoyed face, clearly not wanting to talk to him.

Arisha was silent. She already did not like nobles much, except Leonardo, Lyria, and a few others.

While Lyria was just kind. It was her nature to talk gently to others.

Then Noah turned toward Mary, whose cheeks were slightly flushed.

"Hello, Mary. Hope you are okay. Do not worry, I beat the hell out of Edward. If came back to you...just tell me." Noah grinned while looking at her.

Which made her flinch.

"Well, thank you for that." She nodded her head, clearly showing nervousness.

Noah got confused by her reaction. "Why are you nervous?"

Damien frowned and looked at Noah like he was an idiot.

Arisha who was standing beside Lyria shook her head. She ran her hand through her violet hairs, "Of course most people would be afraid and nervous after watching you laugh like a crazy man while beating Edward. Do you know how you looked at that time?", She said as if it was most common thing.

"I agree. You were looking like a madman, for sure."

Noah coughed after hearing them. A slight flush formed on his cheeks.

"I do not know what you guys are talking about. Well, whatever."

He looked at Damien and extended his hand.

"You might already know, but I will introduce myself again. My name is Noah Eldritch. Hope we can get along well."

Damien stared at his hand, then his face. He was contemplating. He knew exactly what the old Noah had done, but the one in front of him looked very different from the rumors.

Still, he extended his hand and shook it with Noah’s.

With calm expression he said, "Yes, I will be looking forward to it."
