"Humble are we? Thats good attitude. Now i won’t take much of your time. I just wanted to hear the incident frok you guys directly. That’s why i didnt send anyone else to inquiry you about whatever happen there"

All seven students stood side by side in front of Adrian’s desk.

They bowed respectfully before standing straight once again.

Noah was standing at the far left end. The man sitting in front of them was Adrian Aegeus. One of the people who had reached Sovereign Core.

One of the strongest individuals in the world. That did not mean there was no one stronger than him. There were still a few others who were even stronger than Adrian.

Adrian folded his hands together on top of the desk, his sharp black eyes observing every single one of them carefully.

"Firstly, I thank every one of you for fighting with such courage and for killing the person who was behind this incident. You all fought bravely. I am proud of you all."

Damien slightly lowered his head before replying in a calm voice.

"Thank you for your compliment, Sir Adrian. But we all only did what was important at that time. We did everything to survive."

A faint smile appeared on Adrian’s face. "Humble, are we? That is a good attitude." His eyes surveyed over everyone. They were standing straight without any arrogance on their face.

Then his expression turned serious again.

"Now, I will not take much of your time. I simply wanted to hear about the incident directly from you all. That is why I did not send anyone else to question you regarding what happened there."

The seven students listened to him quietly. For a brief moment, no one spoke. They glanced at each other, silently deciding who should speak first.

Finally, Damien took one step forward.

His posture remained straight as he began speaking.

"I will start first."

Adrian gave a small nod, allowing him to continue.

Damien took a short breath.

"Me,Lyria, Arisha, and Leonard were walking through one of the streets together. Everything seemed normal at first. There was nothing wrong. Students were chatting and laughing. While workers doing their work."

His hazel eyes narrowed slightly as he recalled the memory. "Then suddenly, the space between the road tore, a huge portal opened in front of us out of nowhere."

The room remained silent as everyone listened.

"Monsters immediately started coming out from inside it. A lot of them."

Lyria softly lowered her gaze while remembering that moment.

Damien continued.

"There was no time to think. We started fighting right away because the monsters were already attacking nearby students."

He calmly explained how they had engaged in battle. How Leonard used his attacks to keep monsters away from injured students. How Arisha supported them with her healing and also killing other monsters. How Arisha continuously fired arrows to control the battlefield.

How Damien himself fought at the front.

Noah listened carefully as well.

Even though he had heard parts of it before, listening now helped him understand the entire situation better.

Damien then continued until he reached the part where they had encountered the giant monster.

"The strongest one among them was a huge monster. Much stronger than the others."

Adrian’s fingers tapped lightly once on the desk.

"And then?"

Damien’s expression hardened slightly.

"We fought it together."

He explained that battle carefully. How difficult it had been. How dangerous the monster was. How they had nearly lost.

And finally how Damien had used everything he had to kill it.

He told that to kill monster he used his ability. He didn’t explain his ability, just told that it’s side effect made him unable to use mana for a while.

When Noah heard his words,he remembered just what kind of ability Damien posses.

His ability named as Solar Core. An extra core inside his body. Unlike how his normal core works and made up of mana like others.

His Solar core was made up of pure light energy...more like light mana.

In character list it was written that light mana was Lower version of devine power that belongs to Sun God.

By activating that core he get boost for his all Stats. Increasing the attack power of his all magic spells. And lastly he could bring a minture sun into existence to turned his enemy into ashes.

Noah still remembered the bright light that had filled the surroundings space during incident.

When Damien finished, Adrian remained silent for a moment.

Then he asked in a calm voice,

"Did any of you notice something strange or suspicious before the portal appeared?"

The four of them thought carefully.

Lyria gently shook her head first.

"No, Sir."

Leonard crossed his arms while thinking deeply."Nothing unusual from my side either. Me and Lyria were killing monsters. While Arisha and others started to fight that guy Petrick."

Arisha calmly replied as well. "I noticed nothing suspicious as well."

Damien gave the final answer. "Same for me."

Adrian nodded slowly. "I see."

His gaze then moved toward Regnar and Draven.

"You two."

Regnar scratched the side of his cheek before stepping forward together with Draven.

This time Regnar started speaking.

"Me and Draven were eating at a food stall on the road."

Draven silently nodded beside him.

"Then monsters suddenly appeared there too."

Regnar explained how chaos had started in their area as well.

How civilians and students began panicking. How he and Draven immediately started fighting. How they kept holding the monsters back.

Draven then added in his deep voice, "We focused on protecting nearby students first."

Regnar smile slightly. "Yeah, and while fighting lizard like monster we met Noah. He helped us by throwing his spear at monster’s front."

Adrian’s eyes shifted toward Noah for a brief moment before returning to them.

Regnar continued. "He came to help us fight."

Draven spoke again.

"After that we saw Damien’s group fighting a powerful monster from a distance."

Regnar nodded.

"That is when things got messier. I think its better if Noah explained it further."

They explained everything until the moment Noah suggested finding the person controlling everything.

When they finished speaking, Adrian remained thoughtful.

Finally, his black eyes moved toward Noah.

"And now your side."

For some reason, Noah felt slightly more nervous when Adrian directly looked at him.

Still, he stepped forward.

He took a slow breath. Then began speaking. "I was at a café."

Everyone quietly listened.

"When the attack started, the building suddenly broke apart." 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

He explained how chaos had erupted around him. How he had escaped outside. How he later met Regnar and Draven. How the three of them started fighting together. Noah’s voice remained steady as he continued.

His blue eyes narrowed slightly while recalling everything.

"While everyone was focused on battle against monster, I thought someone had to be controlling this."

Adrian leaned slightly forward in his chair.

Noah noticed that but continued.

"So we started searching."

He then explained how he had carefully observed the surroundings. How he had thought the enemy would likely choose a place with a good view. How that led him to inspect nearby buildings.

"And then I found him."

The room felt slightly heavier now.

"On the terrace of a cake shop."

Leonard blinked.

Even now, hearing Noah describe it calmly felt strange considering how insane that fight had been.

Noah continued telling everything in detail. How Petrick had been standing there.

How the battle escalated. How Regnar and Draven joined him. How Arisha and Damiene eventually arrived too.

Then Noah described Petrick himself.

"The way he fought..." Noah paused briefly.

His expression turned serious.

"He was too experienced."

Adrian’s eyes sharpened slightly.

Noah continued.

"It felt like fighting someone who had gone through countless battles."

He explained Petrick’s strange power. His sudden increase in strength.

Then Noah carefully told Adrian about Petrick seemingly burning his own life force for power.

That part made Adrian’s expression change ever so slightly. Noah noticed it. But he kept going. Finally he explained the end of the battle. How they created the opening together. How Regnar used Sound Burst. How the mist covered everything. And how Noah landed the final attack.

But he didn’t stop there. After telling all of this he finally told him about how it was not Petrick who was doing all of this. It was someone else who was controlling Petrick’s body like Puppet from afar. How Noah ahead came to that conclusion.

When Noah finished speaking, silence filled the office.

Adrian remained seated behind his desk.

His fingers were folded together near his mouth now.His sharp black eyes studied all seven students deeply.

The room had become completely quiet. Because now Adrian was thinking. Very seriously.

The group had left Adrian’s office.

After hearing everything, he came to understand who might be the one working with Malrick.

Adrian’s expression turned serious.

"There is only one person I know... who could control someone else’s body and manipulate them like a puppet while placing his own consciousness inside them."

He leaned on his desk.

Both his elbows rested on the table, his hands locked together while his chin rested on them.

His black eyes narrowed deeply.

Then they sparkled with realization.

There was only one person possessing an ability like that.

"Cassian Nightfall... after vanishing for more than ten years... I am hearing about him for the first time... just like Malrick." He said with serious voice.

"So he joined hands with Malrick...."

His brows slowly furrowed. A heavy silence filled the office. His expression darkened further.

"What are they planning."
