Soon the main character aka the 4th prince Lucian Suncrest, walked onto the stage, in steady and powerful steps, his golden hair and ruby like eyes shone in the sunlight, his hair and clothes fluttered slightly in the wind breeze, many girls blushed uncontrollably seeing that unmatched appearance. Axel clicked his tongue, and shook his head pitifully, he knew what was going to happen.

Everyone looked at the 4th prince with immense expectation, the prince was rumoured to be as talented and sharp in combat as the Valkyrie herself, so most people expected him to receive a 4 star aspect, which he abviously did, the [Draconic] aspect, for attaining the bloodline source of the gold dragon in an underground cave, where he was trapped through the scheme of the emperors concubine being a toddler, she planned for his death.

But as a result of struggling madly and with exceptional willpower, the remnant will in that dark cave granted him a fraction of its bloodline out of amusement. The Gold Dragon was obviously killed by the Demon Emperor.

And the fact that he has received the aspect of a dragon cannot be revealed, so he will have to disappoint everyone. But to be fair, this orb doesn’t have the necessary mechanism to evaluate the aspect of the dragon or a demon, it can identify the aspects of any other species, but not the 2 undisputed strongest species on the continent.

He put his hand on it and spread his mana, his primary aspect was revealed to be ’Aurauser’

and secondary aspect [Spellcaster], a measly 5-star potential altogether. Everyone shot a disappointed look towards the prince, but most of it was a mocking gesture. It was basically the scene where the so-called prodigy doesn’t receive the talent he was supposed to, and secretly starts to be looked down upon by most, yet he hides the true power underneath that facade.

While in this period, considering the cunning bastard he was, the 4th prince would be able to make a difference between his true and false friends; it could have been a good opportunity for Axel to befriend him, but he couldn’t get too close to him. The intuitive senses of the dragon bloodline are horrendously strong. The 4th prince won’t be able to sense it immediately, but he would be able to sense it, the more time Axel spends with him, and the closer he remains. So, those are the reasons he should keep it to himself, away from Lucian and the Valkyrie as well.

People openly started mocking him, while the other princesses chuckled in amusement. People at least expected him to have two 3-star aspects, yet he only had one. But the experienced vice principal observed the prince with suspicious looks. They knew very well depending on the evaluation and achievement, one’s existence is purified to that extent, thus their charms and looks become more attractive. So, they were naturally suspicious of him, considering how much ’purer’ his existence became.

With a sigh, Axel went forward as his name was called, and both crossed paths with each other. Neither directly looked at each other in the eye, but both of their attention was fully on each other.

Meanwhile, Heinz Gil, that idiot, shouted from beneath, "Axel, my bro, you goooo......"

Axel winced but did not turn back, goddamn it, this son of a bitch, was he gloating? or was he trying to embarrass him? Now that he was on everyone’s focus, they all stared at him intently, They could not help but be surprised, especially the girls. The Valkyrie again looked at him with a predator-like gaze, which made him sweat in buckets. Thankfully, the vice principal immediately commanded him to start.

Pouring his mana onto the orb, the results soon shone; his primary aspect was Runecaster, and his secondary aspect was Berserker. Since his demon bloodline, to a certain extent, behaved like berserkers, Axel fooled the orb into thinking it was. Just like how the 4th prince fooled the orb, using his dragon bloodline, and made it think that it was the spellcaster aspect.

A wave of disappointment flashed through the eyes of the vice-principal, but soon turned into appreciation, and there was a reason for that; despite runecaster being a 3-star aspect, it was extremely rare and very highly valued. In fact, in the entirety of the human lands, there were only a handful of Runecasters, as they were regarded as the ultimate magical artifact crafter and weapon enchanter.

Which is why many people’s mocking gazes towards him changed to slightly neutral. It seems Runecasters were a big deal in general, but there was a hidden glint in the vice principal’s and other teachers’ eyes; they seemed more pleased and excited with his result than anyone else, and he kind of knew the reason for it. His grandfather was the greatest Runecaster in history, but considering how he abruptly disappeared. They hoped that he would turn out to be just as talented as his grandfather and continue his legacy.

He went down after his results were out. Heinz greeted him with a smile,

"Come on, brother, don’t be down, it’s fine, even if you don’t have a 4-star aspect, you’re a runecaster."

Axel shook his head and gave Heinz a skeptical look. Who was this idiot trying to comfort? Sigh.

More students went up one after another. Ken Dusker ended up having the aspects

Warlord (3 star) + Aurauser (3 star). Many of the princes and princesses of the three kingdoms also awakened two 3-star aspects. Lumina, the sister of the 4th prince, also awakened two 3-star aspects. It seems to be normal for the royals.

While walking down, he shot Axel a menacing glare. But Axel only gave a smile in return, but deep down there was a sinister glint. Oh, he just couldn’t wait for the moment to come.

A few more from the other kingdoms were also revealed to have received double 3-star aspects, which made the students from the other 2 great kingdoms happy. To everyones surprise another 2 students appeared with a 4 star primary aspect and a 2-star secondary aspect. Both from 6 minor kingdoms section.

Then the vice principal divided all the 1200 students into 4 sections, the top 300 students with the highest potential were put in one section together, naming it the Gold Section. But the other 900 were mixed together with strong and weak combined namingly, Section A, B and C. But there were no hierarchy between them for now. Everyone received a general ranking for now, based on thier potential and likely combat prowess.

In the Gold section, everyone had the rankings 1-300, but for the other three, they all had mixed ranking numbers. But that would slowly change as time passes by, based on the accomplishments of each students on various events, a more acurate rankings would be established.

1-300 = Gold Section

301-600 = Section A

601-900 = Section B

901-1200 = Section C

This hierarchy would be established in 6-12 months time. In the beginning 6 months things would be to a large extent be academic and theoritical studies. But there are no solid timelines or in the plan of operations of the academy, based on the whims of the teachers and principal, things could change anytime.

Of course, Axel did know of the general events that would follow.

"Okay, everyone, now that all the preliminary activities are over, have these magic cards, each with your ranking name and section. It also has your new lodging room and building numbers in it."

Axel took his card, handed over to him by a staff member. Axel himself had the ranking of 280 in the Gold section. Runecaster wasn’t a combat-oriented aspect, so he was surprised that they still put him in the Gold section. A part of him liked the fact that he was almost at the bottom of the section. He would try and lay low for now. Heinz was 2nd in the ranking while the Valkyrie was first. Ken was on the 5th, while the 4th prince was on 20 in the ranking.

They all dispersed, heading towards each of their rooms. The top 300 would have an apartment on their own, while the second 300 in the rankings would have one big room each.

The third 300 would have small single rooms, and the bottom 300 would have to live in shared rooms. To be honest, even those shared rooms weren’t so bad, thought Axel. If you have a good roommate, its even better than simply living alone. But most nobles simply preferred having large living spaces on their own, so that suited their tastes.

Axel and Heinz suprisingly found their apartment doors simply opposite to each, which made the duo joke about it again, Axel found himself getting along with this guy quite well and Heinz also found that while many of the nobles tried to butter him up and shot jealous looks towards him, Axel’s attitude towards him didn’t change before or after the trial.

So, he already thought of Axel as a very good friend. While Axel himself did not know about the thoughts of Heinz, after entering the apartment, he looked around as it was quite spacious. A middle room with two bedrooms, bathrooms, and showers and a beautiful balcony that showed the beauty of nature and the sea in the distance. There was a small training room filled with some basic equipments for some light training.

The entire place was built with expensive materials, even with all of his strength, he might only be able to make a small dent on the walls. And that was only becasue of the passively inscreased strength provided by the demon bloodline or the chaosblood aspect. After he was done cheking the apartment, looking through the balcony, he uttered the magic words, "Nexus Panel."
