Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 251: Camp 2
"Mister knight! I made this for you"
After the apostle praises her flower she gains more confidence in it. Lemire who’s still lying on a cloth bed looked at it. In his honest opinion, it wasn’t that good of a flower but, he couldn’t care less about that. he smiled and said
"I can’t move right now, can you put it on for me?"
The girl nods and carefully places the flowers on his head. She was as gentle as she could, to avoid hurting the knight.
"Thank you"
The knight said after, feeling the down on his head. He would have liked to touch it but his condition wouldn’t allow him to
"Please sit still, your wound is still closing"
The priest said after sensing a bit of movement from the knight. He used his hand to gently press the knight down.
"Alright," The knight couldn’t help but sigh. "Are you OK little girl?"
"My name is Fina! And I’m also fine thanks to you, mister knight!!"
The girl said with a bright smile, making the knight’s heart melt and a little embarrassed. Other than his mom no girl had ever praised him like this.
"Did you give this to his holiness, the apostle?"
"I already gave it to him, then he said to give it to you"
The knights thanked Reeva for his kindness inside his mind. Thinking of repaying the apostle later. Then he remembered that Reeva had been handing around the star charm.
"Do you have the star charm that his holiness gave?"
"Charm...?" Fina tilts her head, then she realizes "The six-sided pointy thing?"
"Yep"

Fina nodded and reached into her pocket, after she got it from Reeva it never left her. It’s not every day that the apostle bestowed a charm, maybe once in a lifetime even. She grabbed it and showed it to the knight. It’s a little hard to see from a lying position but he could manage.
"That’s likely his own symbol, from now on use it to pray before sleep"
"What would it do?" Fina didn’t listen much when Reeva came to her house and explained it to her mother. Partly because it’s her sleeping time at that point.
"I don’t know but the church often encourages u to pray to someone important, I guess it had a benefit for a mystic like them."
"Mystic?"
"Being who can you power like the brown skin guy" Lemire couldn’t only think of Quin when giving an example. After all the guy was very easy to identify because most people had white or pale complexion.
"Oh...!!!" She exclaimed, "Can I use power too?"
"That’s up to the sun god to decide, I heard that if you’re devout enough, you could gain power." The knight said with a little guilt in his voice, every year there’s a slew of people being disappointed when trying to become a priest. And oftentimes only one or two out of ten thousand would be selected. So, the chance of Fina being selected is pretty low. But he didn’t want to ruin her mood and her spirits.
"Really?! Then I have to pray harder now! hehe"
She laughs at the possibility of her using power. And out of nowhere, Reeva felt his power increase by a little bit.
------------
In the northern territories, they are traveling northward as the tribe leader suggested, and as the night approaches they quickly set up camp.
It was not much, they just used their knowledge of the terrain to find a nearby cave that was big enough to fit them inside. With all of the people here, Egul could barely fit it all inside.
A bit uncomfortable but the tribe people couldn’t complain much, because tomorrow they would seek shelter with the northern village.
"So I ducked the charge then swung the wooden piece to enhance with my mystic...."
In the cave, Leon was retelling his adventure with any kids who were willing to listen. He even showed them his mystic power to impress them even further. People who knew Leon five years ago started to notice.
"Kids, don’t listen to him. Every word that comes out of that traitor’s mouth is a lie."
A little bit of resentment was present in his voice. The kids looked at Leon and at the middle-aged man who was glaring at them like he was about to smack them and chose to scram. They had enough depression for today and don’t want more.
"Old man why did you have to ruin my epic story!"
"Because you’re full of lies! Five years ago it was you..."
"Stop it!" Theia decided to butt in after hearing some commotion. "He saved me and fought off the monster! So you shouldn’t be bad-mouthing them if you’re not chosen."
The middle-aged man looked irritated, he was indeed not a chosen of the tribe but he held himself in higher regard than Leon.
"Back off city girl, you don’t want to defend this loudmouth. He’s a sorry excuse of a hunter if not for him five years ago...."
"Stop!" Another voice butt in, this time it was another tribe person. It was Pon, the guy that Hilda helped.
"These people are Egul’s guests, so please treat them with respect"
"Pon, why are you...." The middle-aged man couldn’t believe that Pon was standing for these guys.
"Sram or else I would report to Egul."
That guy looks between three of the people who are up against him and leaves. He didn’t want to take the chance of potentially offending Egul. He had already seen them when they arrived at the village so there must be some truth to that statement.
"Thank you.." Theia didn’t know what to think, because earlier he was the one that put them in jail but she appreciated him for cutting the argument short. Otherwise, it could get ugly for both sides.
"No worries I’m just paying my gratitude to Hilda for helping her comrade. By the way, my name’s Pon nice to meet you. I’m sorry for my earlier act because I didn’t realize that you’re a chosen!"
Pon said with respect. However that only left Hilda with a questioning stare, she didn’t know what a chosen was but she could guess. However she couldn’t have known that this man would change this much, it wasn’t even a day!
