"Why do we even need all that? Honestly, I could handle this on my own!" Before Makarov could finish speaking, Natsu jumped up and boasted shamelessly.

"Idiot!" Natsu's arrogance was immediately suppressed by Erza. "Master is considering many factors beyond just the battle itself."

"Wait a minute, isn't the enemy only six people? Just who are they?" Lucy asked in shock.

Their leader—a dark-skinned man with white hair, facial markings, and a skull-headed staff—answered, "Yes, this is the objective of our operation. The magic that brings darkness and annihilates all light—Nirvana. But why is your group, Demon God's Soul, assisting us, Dylan of the Seven Thrones?"

"Tch, it's not like I wanted to come," Dylan muttered, irritation evident in his voice.

"Garlos said Nirvana supposedly contains something we need, so he sent me over. Damn it, he knows full well that if I get caught up in Nirvana... Ugh! This kind of thing should've been left to Reign.
