Fairy Tail Destiny-Chapter 210: Ch : Change
Chapter 210 - Ch 210 : Change
"What? You... you two got married?"
Inside the Fairy Tail guild, Erza stared at Alzack and Bisca in shock, her entire body inexplicably stiffening.
"Yeah, we got married six years ago," Alzack replied with a smile, nodding his head.
Standing beside him, Bisca complained to Erza, "Listen to this, Erza. I was the one who proposed! Honestly, Alzack is just..."
"Don't bring that up!" Alzack quickly interrupted, clearly panicked at the thought of his past being exposed.
But his worries were unnecessary.
The moment Erza heard the news of their marriage, she became completely overwhelmed.
Grabbing the collar of Max, who happened to be passing by, she started shaking him violently, stammering out, "C-Congratulations... uh... sorry for the lack of hospitality... but please take care of each other..."
"Someone stop her!" Max cried out in distress, a completely innocent victim of Erza's reaction.
However, rather than stepping in to help, the onlookers seemed more entertained by the chaos.
Elfman could only smile helplessly at the scene and muttered, "What are you even doing, Erza?"
"She's imagining it happening to herself and got completely flustered..." Mirajane commented with an amused expression.
But then, as if lost in thought, her gaze drifted toward a certain someone.
"Marriage, huh...?"
At that moment, Noel, who had been watching Romeo demonstrate his seven-colored flame magic, suddenly felt an intense gaze on him.
Turning his head, he met Mirajane's contemplative eyes.
"What's wrong, Mira?" Noel asked, puzzled.
Hearing his question, Mirajane let out a small, helpless chuckle and murmured, "I guess it's still not possible, huh?" Then, without saying anything more, she turned away, leaving Noel even more confused.
"??"
A few question marks seemed to pop up over Noel's head as he was completely ignored.
He had no idea what was going on with Mirajane and, in the end, could only helplessly chalk it up to the ever-changing whims of a woman's heart.
As everyone chatted, the guild's doors suddenly swung open, and several figures appeared at the entrance.
"Oh, looks like everyone is here."
A familiar voice reached Noel's ears, and as he turned his gaze toward the doorway, he immediately recognized the newcomers despite the seven-year gap.
They were members of Lamia Scale, whom he had once fought alongside during the battle against Oracion Seis.
"I'm sincerely celebrating your return with all my love," Sherry said with a playful wink.
Compared to seven years ago, she now exuded a far more mature and charming aura, completely shedding her former impulsiveness.
Standing beside her, Jura, now sporting a long beard, smiled warmly and said, "It's good to see that you're all safe and sound."
"There really are people who haven't aged a single bit in seven years..." Yuka, the Wave Magic user, couldn't help but sigh as he observed the unchanged appearances of the group.
"Hmph, so the guild has gone back to being noisy and chaotic again," Lyon scoffed—or at least, pretended to scoff.
"We received a lot of help from both Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale when searching for Tenrou Island," Max informed everyone.
Noel nodded. "I see. That means we owe you all a favor."
"No need to think too much about it," Lyon replied.
"Though Blue Pegasus may have gotten ahead of us in recognition, we're still the stronger guild."
After the members of Lamia Scale entered the guild, the atmosphere grew even more lively.
Among the many happenings, Lyon fell in love with Juvia at first sight, and Gildarts proudly boasted to everyone that Cana was his daughter.
The guild was filled with endless noise and laughter.
Watching this scene, Noel felt a deep sense of peace.
For them, only about a week had passed, but for the members who had remained behind, these seven years had been painfully long.
Seeing Fairy Tail regain its vibrancy filled Noel with genuine relief.
However, there were some things that, no matter how much one wished to avoid, had to be faced.
For example...
The moment Laki announced the total accumulated rent over the past seven years, the smile on Noel's face froze.
"The wind is so... lively today," Noel said as he turned his head to look out at the blazing summer sky.
His tone was soft and gentle, as if he were offering a heartfelt tribute to nature.
"Reporting, sir! Noel has broken down!!" Happy saluted Laki with a serious expression.
Laki was speechless, feeling utterly at a loss for words.
And Noel wasn't the only one feeling this way...
Upon learning about the seven years' worth of accumulated rent, Erza, Juvia, Levy, and the others also turned pale, slumping down in complete despair.
..............
Noel opened the door to his room.
Because it had been sealed for so long, the door let out a harsh creaking noise as it moved.
The moment it opened, a cloud of dust rushed toward him.
Noel waited patiently for the dust to settle before finally taking in the state of his room.
The entire space was in a pitiful condition.
A thick layer of grayish-white dust covered everything, and many pieces of furniture had deteriorated due to years of neglect, making them unusable.
However, this was within Noel's expectations.
If the room had remained in perfect condition, that would have been far stranger.
As he stepped inside, Noel released a faint stream of white light magic, guiding it like a gentle breeze to sweep away the accumulated dust.
In no time, the room was significantly cleaner—at least enough for someone to stand in comfortably.
Ignoring the broken furniture, Noel made his way toward his bed.
Kneeling down, he reached underneath and pulled out a sealed rectangular box.
Upon opening it, he let out a small sigh of relief.
"Good, it's still here. This is my only hope... But I haven't figured out how to use it yet. Maybe... I can find some clues there. But... should I really go back?"
A trace of hesitation flickered across Noel's face.
However, it quickly gave way to determination. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
"I have to go—whether it's for the secret that Lia mentioned or for this... I have to make the journey."
.........
At the same time, inside the guild.
Makarov and Jura sat at the counter.
Jura spoke softly to Makarov, "Master Makarov, the Ten Wizard Saints are holding a gathering soon. It concerns Demon God's Soul."
"Demon God's Soul, huh?" Upon hearing this name, Makarov's expression grew serious.
"What exactly is happening?"
Jura glanced around cautiously before leaning in and whispering a few words into Makarov's ear.
As Makarov listened, his face became increasingly grim.
In the end, he could only sigh and mutter, "It seems Demon God's Soul is stirring once again... The only question is, what is their goal this time?"
Jura silently nodded and added, "Regarding Noel-dono, I'll leave it to you to pass along the message."
"Hmm. Leave it to me," Makarov replied.
