Fake Marriage To The Richest Tycoon-Chapter 107: Sanya and the ring
Chapter 107: Chapter 107: Sanya and the ring
Sanya had gotten herself a part-time job while she waited for some of the fashion companies to review her application. Why was it taking so long?
She groaned in frustration. Her current boss was making things hard on her. Why? Because a jealous female colleague had told some nonsense to her boss, Mr. Bing, claiming that since Sanya had a friend working for a rich guy, she no longer respected him. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
Hence, she was late. God! She was just late by one fucking minute! Don’t tell her they literally counted every single minute and second!
And that statement made by that jealous lady wasn’t even true! Sanya protested, but Mr. Bing threatened to cut her salary if she dared to say anything more.
Mr. Bing was fat and bald. He looked mean and treated most of his workers fiercely, so everyone put on their best behavior to get on his good side.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for Sanya. Sanya was a straightforward and honest woman who would literally shout the truth to anyone’s face, especially to those she hated. She wasn’t shy about expressing her likes and dislikes.
Now here she was, wiping the counter, sweeping the floor, and scrubbing the entire kitchen area while others just looked and stared at her. Thank the heavens she wore pants, or they’d be staring at her ass.
Finally, after five hours of tiring work, she was finished and went to the locker room at the back to change.
When she came out a few minutes later, she saw someone entering the locker room.
"Wait!" someone called out from behind. Sanya turned to look over her shoulder and found that it was the same girl who had lied to Mr. Bing about her.
"What is it? What do you want now after landing me in hot soup?" asked Sanya exasperatedly, unprepared for what the cunning girl had in mind.
"You stole my ring!" the jealous colleague, Mi Liu, exclaimed, attracting attention from everyone. Sanya bet she had done that on purpose.
She confronted Sanya, her hands on her hips in a demanding manner.
"Excuse me? I stole your ring? Get your memory right, lady," Sanya said, offended. She called her a thief!? When had Sanya ever stolen anything in her life? What a great liar—she wanted to burst out laughing but stopped herself.
"I am not mistaken. I left my gold ring, which my husband gave me, in the locker room. After you went in and came out, it wasn’t there. If it wasn’t you, then who took it? You were the last one seen using the locker room, Sanya," Mi Liu said. Her words attracted attention from the other colleagues and some customers, who began talking and chattering all at once.
"Quiet, all of you!" Sanya cried out, throwing her hands up in anger. "I didn’t steal your stupid gold ring. I’m not so broke or poor that I’d resort to such underhanded methods. We have a CCTV camera here. You can check that," Sanya defended herself.
"Okay. I’ll check that. But for now, I need to search your belongings, including your handbag and pockets," Mi Liu demanded, her arms crossed.
"Fine, alright. Go ahead and search. I didn’t take your stupid ring anyway. Why in the fucking world would I want your stupid ring?" Sanya said impatiently. They were wasting her time. She had agreed to meet up with Zhuzhu, but now this jealous bitch was delaying her.
"Okay. I’ll see what you have to say when I find it in your possession," Mi Liu said, beginning to search through Sanya’s purse, which the latter offered willingly.
"Nothing, right?" Sanya said coldly when Mi Liu found nothing in the purse. Mi Liu returned it to her and said, "Now I have to search your pockets. You don’t mind, do you?" There was a sly expression in her eyes.
"Go ahead. As I said earlier, you’re just picking on me because you’re jealous of my best friend, who got a job with a rich billionaire," Sanya said. She knew Mi Liu must have been eavesdropping on her when she was talking with Zhuzhu.
Sanya wasn’t afraid to use vulgar language in front of people. Since she was young, she had always been cursing and giving the middle finger to people until no one wanted to be her friend—well, all except for Zhuzhu, who thought the girl had grown up with extremely vulgar, bad-mouthing parents.
"To be fair, I’ll ask one of the workers to search your pockets," Mi Liu offered.
"Whatever. Just get on with it. I’m running late," Sanya sighed and looked at her watch.
So Mi Liu called one of the female janitors to assist her in the search for her gold ring. Sanya just rolled her eyes. This was going to take some time. It reminded her of an airport security check.
"You know, you should go work for the airlines as a security guard. You’re so thorough in checking for things. No one, not even a fly, could get past you. I’m sure the airport would like to hire you with a higher salary. Wouldn’t you like that?" Sanya asked sarcastically while the janitor searched her.
Mi Liu didn’t reply but focused on the janitor’s actions. She tapped her foot impatiently.
"Uh, miss?" The janitor stood up. The search was finished.
"See? I told you I don’t have it, and neither did I steal it. You should get a doctor to check your brain before you accuse others—" Sanya was still speaking when the janitor suddenly produced a golden ring from her fingers.
"I found this in Miss Sanya’s pocket, her right-hand side," the janitor, a young teenage girl, said. She looked at both parties and wasn’t sure. Did she say the right thing? Why did they both look furious instead of happy that the ring was found?
Mi Liu snatched it away from the janitor’s fingers and examined it carefully.
"This is my ring, no doubt. So it was you who stole it! You’re a thief and a liar!" she suddenly roared at Sanya.
Sanya, who was still stunned by the fact that the ring was in her pocket, blinked a few times before retorting, "I didn’t take it! I’m not interested in your fucked-up ring! How can you call me a liar and a thief!? Do you have proof!? Maybe you planted the ring on me? I have no fucking idea how your stupid ring ended up in my pocket!"
