"No! Don’t go!" Qin Zhuzhu quickly cried out to stop Sanya from leaving.

Sanya was puzzled. "What’s wrong?"

"Uh.... Didn’t you say that you’ll accompany me?" She tried to use her eyes to signal that she didn’t want to be alone with Shentu Jing.

Sanya didn’t seem to understand her intentions. She scratched her head.

"That was for that little Jiang brat. Now that she left, you can enjoy your date with Jingjing,"

"Uh, wait!" Qin Zhuzhu tried to think of a reasonable excuse to make Sanya stay with her.

But wait, why was she avoiding Stinky Jing? It was because she met his eyes earlier when he took the controller from her. Shentu Jing signalled to Sanya with his eyes. At first, Sanya didn’t know what he meant and thought that something entered his eyes.

Sanya saw their lovey dovey moments and made an excuse. How could she stand them being lovey dovey?

"I hear my mom’s calling. I better go!" With that, she rushed off like her butt was on fire.

"Sanya! Wait!" Qin Zhuzhu turned to see Shentu Jing smiling at her like a shark.

"I bet you did that on purpose," she scoffed.

"Do what on purpose? You were the one who fell and so I held your waist," he counter-attacked her words smoothly.

He released her waist and she almost tumbled to the side but he held her arm.

She shot him a look and he retracted his hand.

"So, still tired, little Pearl?" He shoved his hands into his pockets.

"Not anymore, thanks to you," she huffed, annoyed. She turned to let her back face him.

Shentu Jing noticed that she was always setting boundaries between them. He wanted to get close to her but every time she would push him away. Is it because of the scar that her bastard ex husband caused to her heart?

"Wanna play some games?" He suggested in his usual playful tone.

She turned around to face him. Qin Zhuzhu had to raise her chin to look at him because Shentu Jing was quite tall.

"Can you? Aren’t you supposed to be busy at work?"

"Ah Xian and Ah Yue can do the work. I want to see your skills. You’ve seen how I defeated that boss. What, scared?" He teased her.

"Challenge accepted. It won’t be fun without some rewards," Qin Zhuzhu’s eyes glinted like a naughty fox.

Shentu Jing decided to take it nice and slow with her. Wasn’t that the best way to get into a relationship with a woman who had a broken heart?

"Alright. I wonder what rewards my Little Pearl wants," Shentu Jing glanced at an arcade machine to her left.

She walked towards the arcade machine that he had been sneakily looking at.

"Game on," she looked over her shoulder, hair hiding her cheeks and ears. That look was enough to tempt Shentu Jing. She was like a fox demon that would bring him to his knees soon.

Shentu Jing took hold of the controller. The token was pushed into the slot.

"Hey! Aren’t you cheating?!" Qin Zhuzhu cried in the middle of the game. She didn’t expect him to be professional in games.

"I have my lucky stars," Shentu Jing smirked and laughed.

They played for hours, laughing and teasing the other. Qin Zhuzhu even tried to cheat by taking hold of Shentu Jing’s controller to make him die. The man and woman wrestled for control, not noticing the intimate position they were in. By now, they had forgotten about the challenge.

After the arcade, Shentu Jing offered to buy lunch and Qin Zhuzhu accepted.

Qin Zhuzhu’s stomach grumbled while they were strolling. They had finished lunch yet her stomach was still complaining.

She looked at Shentu Jing with an embarrassed expression.

"I’m a huge eater," she chuckled.

"Do you want some cotton candies?"
