Fallen To The Ruthless Obssessive CEO-Chapter 557 - 458
Bao Ye placed Jiang Ruan on the bar counter at the entrance and saw her pitiful red eyes, on the verge of tears, ready to cry.
Bao Ye immediately felt a pang in his heart, reached out to her waist and drew closer: "Did it hurt when I hit you just now, hmm?"
He was speaking, knowing in his heart that he didn’t actually use any force.
Jiang Ruan sniffed, very bossy: "Apologize."
Her voice was soft, but her tone was not.
Yet Bao Ye raised an eyebrow, looked down at her: "Sobering up from the wine?"
She didn’t respond, obviously still drunk.
Her pair of dark eyes looked at him with such moisture that Bao Ye’s Adam’s apple bobbed a few times, and he went along with her: "Alright, I’m sorry."
Bao Ye laughed: "If I didn’t do that, if you kept calling out, the whole floor wouldn’t be able to sleep."
Jiang Ruan didn’t listen to him, her head dizzy, thinking, after drinking, she’s the most important person in the world.
Bao Ye lowered his head, just about to say something.
She hiccupped from the alcohol, spraying Bao Ye’s face with the smell.
Bao Ye: "..."
With his cleanliness obsession, he couldn’t stand it anymore, picked her up and headed straight to the bathroom. Jiang Ruan struggled: "What do you want to do?"
Bao Ye firmly subdued: "Be good, I’ll take you to play with water."
A few minutes later, Jiang Ruan, along with her dress, was soaking in the bathtub.
The makeup on her face had already smudged off.
Bao Ye casually took some cleanser and helped her remove it.
Jiang Ruan seemed like a doll in his hands, letting him do as he pleased. She initially struggled, but later gradually realized it was Bao Ye, her man.
So she stopped moving, letting him continue.
At three in the morning, the night outside the window was pitch black with twinkling stars.
Below was the night view of the skyscrapers in Beijing.
The wool carpet beside the curtains was in a mess.
The fluffy blanket was soaked with sweat.
The dark brown reflected even further the snow-like skin of the female owner, her slender fingertips gripping the blanket, later her wrist caught by the male owner, veins wildly protruding on his hand, dominantly interlacing his fingers with hers.
Soft moans intertwined with breaths.
Tonight was destined to be a sleepless night.
At the very end, Jiang Ruan really couldn’t stand it anymore, and she was completely sober from the alcohol.
Crying, she begged Bao Ye for mercy.
Bao Ye’s temples were covered in sweat, his jawline tense, looking at her like an unyielding warrior, his voice hoarse to the extreme.
He leaned down to her ear: "Call me husband."
Jiang Ruan called out: "Husband."
The two words made Bao Ye’s eyes instantly redden again.
He bit her ear: "Good, this is the last time."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Ruan knew he was lying to her again.
The sound of cries and pings spread throughout the living room.
*
Jiang Ruan slept in bed the entire next day.
The curtains were drawn, the bedroom pitch black.
She didn’t even want to know if it was day or night outside. Exhausted in both body and spirit, her mind was filled with sleepiness, just wanting to sleep.
She felt like she had been run over by a big truck.
Fortunately, no one called her, and she only replied to a few important messages on WeChat, ignoring everything else.
Jiang Ruan had never been this tired.
In her heart, she had cursed that dog Bao Ye hundreds of times.
Truly, he was driving her to the brink.
Eight o’clock in the evening.
Bao Ye finished his work in the living room and turned off the computer.
He hadn’t gone to the office today, just stayed here watching over Jiang Ruan.
After checking in the morning, he realized how excessive he had been last night, feeling quite embarrassed about it.
In the morning, Bao Ye bought medicine for Jiang Ruan.
He had someone make porridge; she had no appetite, took a few sips and then slept.
In the afternoon, Bao Ye checked and she was a lot better.
She refused to eat lunch no matter what.
And so it was up to now.
Looking at the time, estimating it was about right, Bao Ye picked up his phone and made a call, asking the household servant to bring the meal over.
After hanging up the phone, Bao Ye went to the bedroom.
The bedroom was dark; he reached out and turned on the light.
With a "click," the bedroom instantly lit up. The bright light made Jiang Ruan’s eyelashes tremble.
She tucked her head under the covers and continued sleeping.
Yet Bao Ye’s voice came near her ear: "Jiang Ruan?"
A whole day without eating or drinking, Jiang Ruan’s throat felt painfully dry, and her reply was very raspy: "Hmm."
Bao Ye’s brows furrowed.
A few minutes later, Bao Ye gently patted her shoulder through the blanket, pinched her cheek with his thumb and forefinger: "Be good, drink some water before sleeping again." 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
"Otherwise, your throat will feel uncomfortable."
Jiang Ruan was truly thirsty; hearing these words, she hesitated for a moment before opening her eyes.
The man’s face immediately came into view, Jiang Ruan sat up, wearing the silk robe he had changed her into.
She took the water cup, gulping down more than half of the warm water.
Her throat felt a bit more comfortable.
Bao Ye took the water cup from her, placed it on the table, and concerned, asked her: "How is it, still in pain?"
