Fallout Game Merchant 2.0-Chapter 162: Finger Bang!
Colonel James Hsu sat behind his desk at Camp McCarran, his sharp eyes narrowing as he flipped through the evidence Six and Rebecca had provided. His fingers drummed against the desk, a sure sign that he was piecing things together.
Around them, the NCR command center bustled with activity—officers barking orders, radio chatter, and the occasional loud grunt of frustration from the overworked personnel.
Six leaned against the desk, arms crossed, waiting for the colonel’s response. Rebecca, still adjusting to a non-shoot-first environment, scanned the room, keeping an eye on the MPs stationed nearby.
After what felt like an eternity, Hsu exhaled sharply.
"So, you’re telling me that the Legion worked with the Omertas—who are now conveniently wiped out thanks to you—and that they planted a bomb on our railway with the help of a mole in my ranks?"
Six nodded.
"That about sums it up."
Rebecca smirked.
"You don’t look too surprised."
Hsu shook his head.
"I’m not. This war’s a mess. It was only a matter of time before the Legion tried something bold to cut off our supply lines."
He set the documents down.
"The Omertas working with them, though—that’s unexpected. We always suspected they were up to something, but Legion collaboration?"
He scoffed.
"Idiots. They got what was coming to them."
Six pulled out another holotape, sliding it across the desk.
"This has the details on the NCR mole. You’ll find the name inside."
Hsu’s expression darkened as he inserted the holotape into his terminal. The screen flickered to life, displaying a dossier of Capt. Ronald Curtis, an NCR officer with a suspicious record of movements and encrypted communications linking him to Vulpes Inculta’s agents.
"Son of a bitch."
Hsu muttered, rubbing his temples.
"This guy’s been under my nose the whole time."
Rebecca leaned in.
"You want us to handle him?"
Hsu looked up at her, then at Six. His gaze lingered for a moment before he sighed.
"No. I’ll deal with my own trash. I’ll have him detained immediately and interrogated."
He stood, signaling to an MP.
"Sergeant Gray is to be arrested on charges of treason. Bring him in now."
The MP saluted and left in a hurry.
Hsu turned back to Six.
"I don’t like owing people favors, but you just saved a hell of a lot of lives. If that bomb went off, the whole New Vegas supply route could have been shut down for months."
He extended a hand.
"The NCR appreciates this, even if I can’t officially say so."
Six shook his hand firmly.
"Just remember this the next time someone tries to screw me over."
Hsu chuckled dryly.
"Noted."
As Six and Rebecca left the command center, the familiar ding of their quest log updated in his head.
Ding!

He glanced at Rebecca, who was busy checking her ammunition with a smirk.
"That’s a hell of a reward."
He muttered.
Rebecca looked up.
"What is?"
Six tapped his Pip-Boy and showed her the description of his new ability. Her eyes widened slightly before she let out a low whistle.
"So, let me get this straight... anyone who fights you and loses might just join you afterward?"
Six smirked.
"That’s what it sounds like."
Rebecca shook her head with a grin.
"That’s one way to recruit."
Boone, Raul, and Roger joined them outside, the latter sipping from a bottle of Nuka-Cola. Boone glanced at Six.
"What’s next?"
Six rolled his shoulders, feeling the weight of the Mojave shifting in his favor. With an ability like this, turning enemies into allies was no longer just an option—it was inevitable.
He smirked.
"Let’s go break the Mojave over our knees."
As they walked away, behind them, alarms blared in Camp McCarran—no doubt the arrest of Capt. Ronald Curtis was underway.
Rebecca raised an eyebrow at Six as they walked toward the exit.
"You really think Hsu’s gonna handle it?"
She asked.
Six shrugged.
"Doesn’t matter. Curtis is done for either way. The NCR doesn’t take too kindly to traitors."
As they passed the rows of NCR troopers prepping for their next missions, the sound of raised voices and boots pounding against the concrete echoed behind them.
Then—bang!
A single gunshot rang out from inside the command center.
Rebecca smirked.
"Guess Curtis didn’t go quietly."
Six chuckled.
"Would’ve been fun to do it myself, but hey, a dead mole’s a dead mole."
With their business at Camp McCarran wrapped up, they had plenty of options ahead of them. They could check on Goodsprings, see how the Strip was faring without the Omertas, or maybe even pay Caesar a visit—he’d eventually find out that another one of his schemes had gone up in flames.
Rebecca elbowed him playfully.
"So, big guy, what’s the plan?"
Six smirked.
"Let’s go make some more trouble."

The interrogation room was dimly lit, the only illumination coming from a flickering overhead lamp that buzzed with every slight shift in voltage. Silus, a hardened Legion Centurion, sat shackled to a metal chair, his expression locked in a stoic grimace.
Despite his chains, his posture screamed defiance—shoulders squared, jaw clenched, eyes burning with contempt.
Lt. Carrie Boyd stood beside Rebecca, arms crossed. She’d tried every trick in the book—intimidation, bargaining, and even mild threats—but the Legionnaire had barely reacted.
Then Rebecca stepped in.
She cracked her knuckles, grinning.
"Alright, gonk. We’re gonna have a little chat."
Silus scoffed.
"You waste your breath, woman. I will tell you nothing. Kill me if you must—I will die with honor."
Rebecca tilted her head, looking at him like he was an amusing pet.
"Oh, I don’t need you to talk."
She lifted her right hand and pointed one finger at his shoulder—Finger Pistol.
Before Silus could process what was happening, a sudden, sharp bang echoed in the room. His shoulder jerked violently as a hole the size of a .45 round appeared in his armor, blood trickling down his chest.
His eyes widened in shock.
"What the—?!"
Rebecca twirled her fingers.
"Oops. Slipped."
Boone, standing in the corner, let out a low chuckle. Roger smirked, arms folded. Raul just shook his head, muttering
"Damn, chica."
Lt. Boyd blinked.
"Uh... what the hell was that?"
Six grinned.
"Her special talent."
Silus gritted his teeth, panting as pain spread through his body. But before he could regain his composure—
Bang!
Another hole, this time in his leg.
His breath hitched.
"Ready to talk now?"
Rebecca asked sweetly.
Silus tried to maintain his resolve, but his body betrayed him. Sweat dripped down his forehead as he stared at the impossible wounds. No weapon. No gunfire. Just... her finger.
His willpower cracked.
"F-Fine."
he gasped. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
"I’ll talk."
For the next hour, Silus spilled everything—Legion tactics, troop movements, infiltration plans, even the exact location of Caesar’s camp.
Lt. Boyd’s jaw nearly hit the floor.
"Holy hell... that’s more intel than we’ve ever gotten out of a Legion prisoner."
Rebecca twirled her fingers before holstering them like a revolver.
"Guess he just needed the right motivation."
Six patted her on the back.
"Good job, babe."
Boone nodded approvingly.
"Not bad."
Roger grinned.
"Damn, I should’ve brought popcorn."
Raul smirked.
"I’d say ’remind me not to piss you off,’ but I already knew that."
As they left the interrogation room, the ding of Six’s quest log echoed in his head.
Ding!

Lt. Boyd, still stunned, shook her head.
"I don’t know what kind of crazy-ass training you’ve had, but remind me to never get on your bad side."
Rebecca grinned.
"Smart choice."
With the Legion’s secrets laid bare, the Mojave had just become a much deadlier place for Caesar’s forces.
