Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence-Chapter 127 - 109: Discussion: Attacking the Sheep-headed Man Tribe
"What is this?"
When Evelyn saw the things in her son’s hands, her expression inevitably showed a trace of surprise.
"Mother dear, it’s from Uncle!"
"Isn’t this too valuable?"
Kevin spoke hesitantly.
Twelve years old and already very sensible, he understood how precious these items, worth thousands of gold coins, were indeed.
"This!"
"Leave them here for now!"
Evelyn nodded.
As her son said, it was really too valuable.
Kevin nodded and then left.
Meanwhile, Evelyn pondered for a while and decided to take the items forward.
At the head seat.
Tono and Thor were chatting. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
The initial unfamiliarity gradually faded in the brotherly conversations.
And in this familiarity, Tono became even more shocked.
On one hand, shocked by the support their father had given, and on the other, stunned by Thor’s current strength.
Thor, at just nineteen, had already broken through to Great Knight.
It’s worth noting that when he achieved Great Knight, he was already thirty.
"Brother, your talent might already surpass our father’s!"
Tono said with emotion.
"That’s just good luck!"
Thor smiled and shook his head.
Indeed, it was really luck; without daily intel, without Anna’s shared contract, his current strength might still be that of an Apprentice Knight.
"This isn’t merely luck!"
Tono shook his head.
His expression was somewhat melancholic.
And amidst their conversation.
Evelyn walked over slowly.
As she approached, Tono and Thor quickly noticed her.
Tono was somewhat puzzled.
But Thor understood what was going on.
"Uncle, the things you’ve given are too precious!"
Evelyn bowed slightly, then spoke to Thor with a hint of apology.
Tono looked at his wife with confusion.
"Uncle gave Kevin a bottle of Intermediate Life Potion, and a Divine Wood Fruit to both Dia and Leia."
Evelyn explained gently to Tono.
"What?"
Upon hearing his wife’s words, Tono couldn’t help but stand up, eyes filled with shock.
"You’re being too generous!"
"It’s merely a meeting gift for the children!"
Thor smiled, his warm voice rising.
"Thor, my brother, this is indeed too expensive!"
"I can’t accept it!"
Tono quickly spoke.
"No, no!"
"It’s not expensive at all!"
"Isn’t our brotherly bond worth anything?"
Thor smiled and commented.
"This!"
"Thor, my brother, you know I didn’t mean that!"
Tono paused, then spoke with a bitter smile.
"Of course!"
"Brother, if you truly feel uneasy about this, how about agreeing to one of my requests?"
Thor suggested with a smile.
"Say it!"
Tono hesitated slightly, but still nodded in agreement.
"In that territory, there’s a large iron ore deposit and a small copper ore deposit; instead of selling the ores and Secret Silver Iron, crafting armor and weapons is a better choice!"
"A few months ago, I acquired some goblins. If big brother is willing, you can give me the iron ore and Secret Silver Iron to craft into armor and weapons. It should yield more refined products and fetch more gold coins."
Thor smiled as he spoke.
"You’ve acquired a group of goblins?"
Tono was once again surprised.
In the Northern Province, goblins are numerous, but goblins are few.
Each goblin is incredibly precious to a Lord, so he hadn’t expected his brother to have acquired a group of them.
Thor nodded with a smile.
Tono’s eyes gleamed, filled with excitement.
Being in the Northern Province, Tono naturally understood the value difference between ores and crafted weapons and armor.
Crafting armor weapons, especially ones crafted by goblins, is ten times more valuable.
"If we can accomplish this, then naturally there’s no issue."
"Barbus will agree too!"
"Besides, it’s hardly a request!"
After his excitement, Tono shook his head, speaking with complexity.
"Then, in addition, how about having the output from ’Agate’ be sold exclusively to me?"
Thor smiled and proposed again.
"This!"
Tono and Evelyn exchanged a glance.
They didn’t feel disadvantaged, rather that they were gaining quite a bit.
After all, Agate’s annual output at most would be worth a thousand gold coins, and Thor’s gift alone, just the Intermediate Life Potion, exceeds a thousand gold coins.
"How about this, if we can achieve it, Thor, Agate’s production for the next three years will be given to you!"
"Don’t refuse, or I won’t accept the gift!"
Tono spoke earnestly.
"Thank you then!"
Thor paused for a moment and then smiled and nodded.
He didn’t refuse further.
He knew that if he continued to refuse, Tono likely really wouldn’t accept.
"This time, I really took advantage!"
Tono shook his head helplessly.
He knew that even with the Danube’s three-year output added in, the value was still less than what Thor had given.
But it was all he could offer right now.
With the Kingdom War approaching, Beastman attacks growing more severe, and the West gradually being affected, he desired to quickly strengthen his power.
He could only plan to make amends later.
"Brother is too modest!"
Thor raised a glass, speaking with a gentle smile.
Evelyn withdrew.
The two began conversing again.
Time slowly ticked away.
The banquet ended.
Thor stayed at the castle to rest.
