Chapter 2156: Chapter 985

"Transcendent Promotion!" A vast amount of professional power and Soul Pool’s power merged together, continuously infusing into the Skeleton Lord’s body.

Boom!

The Skeleton Lord was engulfed in a fierce burning state.

However, this flame was blood-colored, without any heat, doing no harm to the Skeleton Lord, but rather providing immense benefits.

This was the strengthening of its Soul Fire by the soul power from the Soul Pool.

In order to enhance the effect, Gaven directly used his Legendary Charisma Reward Ability.

When the Soul Fire extinguished, the Skeleton Lord had completed the transformation, becoming one of the lords of this Soul Pool, and Gaven could promote five more Undead Lords, each point of Slaughter Divinity corresponding to one.

Life Force: 75 (Life Dice: 14D10)

Attributes: Strength 14, Dexterity 16, Constitution -, Intelligence 14, Perception 15, Charisma 21

Special Ability: Undead Trait, Immunity, Slaughter Blessing, Tomb Master, Dread Chill Skeleton, Withered Flame Skeleton, Command Skeleton, Three-in-One, Skeleton Lord, Enhanced Leadership (Transcendent Charisma Reward)

Tomb Master (Special Ability) - The Skeleton Lord emits an Aura of Vitality with a radius of ten meters, within which undead creatures gain Regeneration +5 and Saving Throws +2. This aura terminates when the Command Skeleton is destroyed.

Dread Chill Skeleton (Special Ability) - When this skull is dominant, you can cast an Ice Storm each turn, with effects identical to the spell of the same name, and the main attribute for casting is Charisma.

Withered Flame Skeleton (Special Ability) - When this skull is dominant, you can cast a Fireball Technique each turn, with effects identical to the spell of the same name, and the main attribute for casting is Charisma.

Command Skeleton (Special Ability) - When this skull is dominant, each turn you can revive undead creatures, a number equal to the charisma adjustment value. The revival level cannot exceed the Skeleton Lord level +2, and undead creatures’ life force is full upon revival.

Three-in-One (Special Ability) - When the Skeleton Lord’s life force drops to zero, one of its skeleton skulls (randomly chosen from the three) is destroyed, simultaneously losing the corresponding special ability. If any one skeleton skull remains, its life force is fully restored. It is only when all three skeleton skulls are destroyed that the Skeleton Lord is defeated.

Skeleton Lord (Special Ability) - All attributes +2. Your command ability over undead creatures is enhanced. Outside the Soul Pool’s coverage, you can command undead creatures equal to your charisma adjustment value * 1000, and within the Soul Pool’s coverage, the command number is doubled. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Enhanced Leadership (Special Ability) - The number of undead creatures you can command is doubled.

Compared to the mediocre Skeleton Cavalry Lord, the Skeleton Lord’s abilities are relatively more powerful, not only possessing stronger battlefield survival abilities but also stronger leadership powers, as it was specifically created as an Undead Lord to assist in controlling the undead.

Previously, when the two were engaged in battle, Gaven’s combat power was excessively overwhelming, in an overbearing state, not giving the Skeleton Lord any chance to display its strength.

Gaven originally wanted to promote more Skeleton Cavalry Lords to form several skeleton cavalry corps and enhance his tactics.

However, unfortunately, there are quite a few Skeleton Cavalry with Transcendent Life Dice, but intelligence and charisma are hardly seen at a high level, even with lord bonuses, barely reaching ten points, rendering any non-leader lord useless.

Leading undead spirits, this special troop type, cannot pick generals like the wise human creatures, it must rely on magical empowerment, either they have it or not.

The first task Gaven assigned to the Skeleton Cavalry Lord was to clear out all wild skeleton soldiers within the Soul Pool’s coverage.

Firstly, to establish the defensive depth of the Soul Pool, preventing any hostile undead from sneaking in later.

If the territory has no wild skeleton soldiers, other undead creatures infiltrating in will be easily detected through the soul vision of the Soul Pool.

Secondly, to gather more Power of Slaughter, preparing for attacking the next Soul Pool.

The target is naturally the previously identified Skeleton Minotaur Pool.

Gaven did not wait until the territory’s forces were full, gathering twenty thousand skeleton soldiers and eight thousand skeleton cavalry before setting off boldly.

Even so, it took them nearly a week, relying on the Skeleton Lord and Skeleton Cavalry Lord’s ability to recruit many wild skeleton soldiers within their control, otherwise, relying on the Soul Pool itself, they would have waited over a month.

This method of recruiting wild skeleton soldiers can only be used once on one’s own territory.

Once covered by the Soul Pool, no more skeleton soldiers will grow outdoors.

The first fifteen hundred Slaughter Skeleton Soldiers and fifteen hundred Slaughter Skeleton Cavalry that Gaven transformed were arranged as a Guard Corps surrounding him.

With absolute superiority in numbers, Gaven this time did not resort to any schemes or plots, directly moving forward with straightforward attacks.

There was no room for such tactics.

The previous soul collision in the Consciousness Sea had evidently alerted them.

That Skeleton Lord was clearly prepared, retracting all forces within the Soul Pool to form a dense Sea of Skeletons, guarding himself and the Soul Pool tightly at the center.

This was akin to hitting a fixed target, posing no difficulty whatsoever for Gaven with his superior forces.

Only the simplest, most straightforward strategic tactics were needed.
