Then, using the Skeleton Minotaur Pool as a central point, a comprehensive war of attrition was initiated.

Four legions gathered in a narrow space, guarding one side and resisting the invading undead outside.

Both sides had a continuous flow of troops, with no possibility of compromise, only battling to the last undead.

The longer the war dragged on, the more advantageous it was for Gaven, for three reasons.

Now the Death Stalkers were fighting in their home territory, able to exert their combat power to the fullest.

The surrounding undead not only served as their servant forces, assisting them in battle but could also become their blood bags, to be consumed for restoring health and combat strength.

To defeat them, all undead around them must be cleared away, and slow-moving troops should not be used, otherwise they would just be offering their blood.

"Understood." Without hesitation, the two Skeleton Lords led their Honor Guards, with a thousand Super Skeleton Minotaurs charging forth.

Being original inhabitants of the Plains of Bone, they were awfully familiar with top-level beings like Death Stalkers, aware of their strengths and weaknesses.

On the frontlines, they were nearly invincible.

Trying to overwhelm them with Skeleton Sea Tactics was asking for humiliation.

But if equipped with enough elite forces, holding them off for a while was surely possible.

Their tremendous body size inherently limited their agility, whether in movement speed or turning capability.

Super Skeleton Minotaurs fit this troop type, with fierce combat strength and not easily stuck by servant forces beside Death Stalkers, and with decent speed, at least relatively to Death Stalkers.

Everything is subject to comparison.

Super Skeleton Minotaurs stood out as giants among Regular Skeleton Soldiers, instantly noticeable for their tall and sturdy figures, providing an unspoken sense of security.

However, in front of Death Stalkers, they became unequivocally mere dogs, only able to look up to the towering behemoth.

Where Super Skeleton Minotaurs could dash and slaughter freely among regular undead, in front of Death Stalkers, it was laughable.
