Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor-Chapter 508 - 264: New Residents (Part 2)
Serge reported with a face full of surprise, "This can greatly reduce physical exertion, especially during marching!"
"Not just for marching, it will also lower the barrier for soldiers to wear it."
Luo De’s face showed a satisfied smile, already expecting the scene of patrols in full plate armor.
Luo De looked at Alse,
"I want this plate armor mass-produced."
...
...
After inspecting the plate armor, Luo De imparted the enchantment ability of the Refined Edge to two other awakened Yak People.
Interestingly, after successfully drawing the Refined Edge, the two Yak People seemed enlightened and were able to inscribe other simple runes as well.
Earlier on, Alse had already taught these two tribe members the Featherweight Rune, and immediately after fully awakening, they dove into work.
"My lord, I have also prepared another enchanted plate armor for you."
Without hesitation, Alse quickly ran into the back room of the blacksmith shop and brought out a black plate armor.
"This is Sea Pattern Magic Steel Plate Armor, my Lord."
Alse introduced, "It has piercing protection and two basic enchantments to deflect blunt and armor-piercing arrows."
"Our territory’s armor-piercing arrows?"
Luo De asked in surprise.
"Yes, my Lord,"
Alse chuckled, "It takes at least three armor-piercing arrows hit in the same spot to effectively penetrate this Sea Pattern Magic Steel Plate Armor."
"Not bad, this plate armor can be equipped for the knights."
Luo De had originally been thinking about what equipment to outfit those Frost Winter Knights with, and now this plate armor was just right.
"Oh, by the way, this plate armor can still have another rune inscribed, but I felt featherweight seems of little value..."
Alse scratched his head, "So I didn’t inscribe it."
"You’ve done very well, Alse."
Luo De happily patted Alse’s back,
"The strength and stamina of those knights are enough to wear such plate armor. Featherweight is valuable, but its effect is like adding one or two more flowers in a blooming garden."
"However, if the armor is enchanted with backlash, it will significantly enhance the knight’s combat power, especially when facing equally matched opponents."
The backlash enchantment causes part of the impact force to be returned to the attacker when the armor is hit.
It’s similar to "reaction force" in reality, but concerns magical enhancement.
The attacker feels a hand shock, arm numbness, and may even be repelled, thus neutralizing the attacker’s offense.
"I understand, my Lord!"
Alse replied excitedly, "I’ll go add it right now!"
Luo De raised his hand to stop him, instructing, "Jot this down first, and then make a complete set for me, tailored to Durant’s size."
"Alright, I got it."
"By the way, how’s your study of ’Magic Power Stability’ and ’Fusion’ runes coming along?"
Luo De asked.
Alse scratched his head, stammering, "I’ve read and learned them, but the alchemy pot and stirring rod you mentioned are neither weapons nor armor, so I’m not sure if it’s possible..."
"And both the stirring rod and alchemy pot are very small, those magic runes are very complex, I fear wasting your resources..."
"No worries, you can give it a try."
Luo De encouraged, "Do not fear failure."
"Well then, my Lord, could you give me two more days?"
Alse lowered his head nervously, his voice growing smaller, "I want to get more familiar..."
"Alright."
Luo De patted Alse’s back, "Relax and let me know when you’re ready."
"Yes, my Lord."
Alse nodded firmly.
Luo De didn’t put too much pressure on Alse and then left the blacksmith shop to guide the four Magic Potion Apprentices in Luna’s alchemy lab.

The blustery spring wind kept whistling across the wasteland, but it didn’t hinder the sprouting green shoots’ vigorous growth.
On horseback, Gang Le held a stalk of grass in his mouth, occasionally glancing back at the winding procession behind him.
Within the entire group were several hundred members of different races, six or seven people bunched together were linked by coarse hemp ropes.
The ropes ran from one alien race’s wrist to the next one’s neck.
With each step, the rope pulled, emitting a creaking friction sound.
More importantly, it ensured that no one could easily break free.
In the group, Gang Le recognized the Yak People and the Snow Rabbit People.
Perhaps because they were acquaintances, the Yak People and Snow Rabbit People were tied loosely.
The other aliens were unfamiliar to Gang Le.
Deer People with branching antlers on their heads, Bear People with physiques as robust as Gang Le, elegant and beautiful Ice Fox People, and Boar People with tusks.
Also, there were some Wild People and hunters scattered across the wasteland.
These individuals were proof of Gang Le and Chris’s recent captures in the Frozen Bone Wasteland, Razor Plain, and Icefield Mountain Range.
They hid in the various corners of the Northern Wasteland, undetected even by the Lizardmen.
But the Hunting Team boasted Hawk scouts from the Eagle Feather Race, making them impossible to evade.
Even now, two Hawks circled in the sky, constantly watching the scene below.
"Halt!"
Gang Le raised his right hand, and the entire group gradually stopped.
"Rest here."
"Yes, Lord Gang Le."
The soldiers turned around, gesturing toward the aliens.
Once everyone sat down, Gang Le’s gaze swept across all.
"I know that you are scared right now, but you don’t need to be."
Holding his helmet, Gang Le spoke loudly,
"I tie you up merely to ensure you don’t run away."
"When you reach Frost Leaf Town, you’ll find it an excellent place to live."
"Our lord, Baron Rod, is a very good person."
