Upon seeing Charles's sudden appearance, the Bishops and others went alert and instantly unsheathed their weapons.

Simultaneously, the seven shadow-like figures turned their gazes towards him and dashed towards him at an unimaginable speed!

But thanks to his [Accelerate Thoughts] skill, all of their movement appeared slower to his eyes!

'Shadow Angels, huh? Hmm, each of them is only at the level of Saint Knight. But their strength doesn't matches with the records, though.' Although he hadn't battled them upfront, he had scanned them before and even had some information about them.'

'They are not dead humans, but emotionless killers. They don't feel love or fear and only obey the order of a 'certain' person. They are powerful enough to hunt down Awakens, and records say that they had killed more than 3 Rank-5 Demon Sorcerers in their lifetimes. 'They are mostly responsible for assassinations, hunting demon sorcerers, and had some bad reputation among the masses. A Ruler even called them Dead Knights and caused controversy among the masses a few decades ago. And, the one who controls these Shadow Angels is not the Pope but the Chief Deacon of the Light Church.' As the information appeared in his mind, he casually evaded the long sword from one of the Shadow Angels and shook his head.

'I've no time to play with these puppets.' Muttering inwardly, he calmly took a step forward, pointed his finger at one of the seven Shadow Angels, and cast [Burning Thoughts] spell on him.

Just as he had expected, that Shadow Angel froze all of a sudden, missed a step, and fell pathetically!

"Weak." Charles shook his head, pointed his finger at the fallen Shadow Angel, and cast [Finger of Destruction] spell.

The next instant, a condensed bullet made of 'Chaos Fire' came out of his fingertip, moved towards the Shadow Angel at an unimaginable speed, and directly entered his head.

A moment later, his head burst open like a watermelon, and his whole body started to erupt in chaotic flame!

Following that, all six other Shadow Angels fell one by one like sheep and got killed by Charles's multiple [Finger of Destruction] spells.

In less than three seconds, an elite squad of Shadow Angels was disappeared from everyone's eyes.

In the meantime, the Priests, Bishops, and other knights stared at the burning bodies with a horrified look on their faces and trembled uncontrollably.

Although they wanted to kill the enemy, their legs and hands couldn't move a single bit.

All of them stood there like frozen statues!

On the other hand, Charles shifted his attention towards the tall building with multiple floors that looked similar to a school.

It also had a giant dome on top.

'Museum!' His eyes shone in the dusky sunlight as he looked at the tall building's entrance, took a step forward, and disappeared from there.

A moment later, he reappeared a few meters away from the entrance and soon furrowed his brows.

Then, he released his wisdom power and searched the tall building.

The next second, he found the 'Secret Chamber' deep inside the underground and showed a surprised look on his face.

"There are five floors below the ground level? Moreover, the whole underground is the secret chamber, huh? Weapons, golds, crystals... Hmm? Why couldn't I scan a particular room?" He furrowed his brows and opened the 4-meter tall metallic gate using his pure wisdom power.

But as he tried to walk inside, his eyes turned blurry all of a sudden and gave him a warning vision.

He instantly halted his footsteps, cast [Fire Born] spell on himself, and transformed into a 2-meter tall fire-elemental being.

At that moment, the space in front of him began to rip, made a vertical line, and soon formed into a spatial crack!

From there, three foggy humanoid skeletal beings with large scythes came out of the spatial crack one by one and blocked his path.

They were around 3 meters tall, had reddish bone-like skeletal structures, reddish soul fires in the sockets, and looked ruthless.

As he saw their eyes, a single word appeared in his mind.

"Chaos!"

It wasn't a guess, though. Charles sensed a dense amount of chaotic energies around those skeletal bones and confirmed that they were chaos beings. He even saw some strange red chains attached to their chests and felt an ominous feeling upon looking at them.

'They are definitely from the Chaos Faction.'

Although he still didn't know much about the factions, he at least knew that they weren't good beings.

At that moment, those three skeletons moved all of a sudden, encircled him, and slashed the scythes at him from three directions.

Meanwhile, Charles watched the scythes' movement in slow motion, evaded a scythe aimed at his neck, and closed the distance between him and a particular Skeleton.

Simultaneously, he conjured a ball of rebirth flame, combined it into a long sword, and thrust it at the reddish chain attached to its chest.

A moment later, a metal breaking sound echoed at the entrance, followed by a loud sonic screech!

Meanwhile, a look of surprise appeared on his face.

'They are not strong?' With a mere exchange, he realized that they were normal beings with the above-average strength of a Saint Knight and snorted!

Simultaneously, he rolled around to evade the other two scythe attacks and distanced himself from them.

'They look more like skeletons from the underworld. But how come they can travel both in the Astral and Physical realm? Wait! I would've sensed them if they stayed in the Astral realm all this time.' Furrowing his brows, he activated his [Eyes of the Runes] skill and soon smiled.

'I got your weaknesses now.' He didn't hesitate for a moment as he cast [Burning Consciousness] spell on one Skeleton and attacked it using [Soul Fire] spell!

Yes! He didn't use chaos fire spells like [Finger of Destruction] spell, but chose to attack them using Soul Fire spell.

From what he understood about the chaotic beings, they were more or less resistant towards his Chaos Fire. Moreover, they were weak towards healing-type spells!

As the soul fireball touched the Skeleton's chest area, it suddenly spread towards all parts of Skeleton's body and completely enveloped it in blue flame!

Moreover, the soul fire spread towards the other two Skeletons and burned them fiercely.

Charles stared at the burning skeletons in shock and soon noticed that all of them hurriedly moved towards the opened spatial crack!

Meanwhile, Charles returned to his human shape but didn't stop them from fleeing.. Instead, he took a step forward and continued to walk inside the Museum building without minding the opened spatial crack.
