Floating Island - Triple S Talent-Chapter 491: Elder’s Isle
"Welcome, Elder Lein," they said in unison with respectful tones.
Lein was slightly surprised, though his expression remained calm. Information spread incredibly fast in this place— even the guards already knew who he was.
Without saying a word, Lein gave a small nod, then stepped inside the main hall. As he crossed the threshold, his eyes were greeted by an astonishing sight of grandeur.
The polished black floor gleamed like a mirror, reflecting the figures of everyone who walked across it. Towering pillars lined the vast hall, adding to its majestic aura. The high ceiling was adorned with a painting of a bright sky, so vivid it seemed almost alive. In the middle of the spacious hall stood a long reception desk, where several staff members were busy handling administrative matters.
"Over there, let's go," said Lein as he headed toward the reception desk.
Efan and Laras followed closely behind. As they walked, Lein scanned his surroundings, quietly observing the people within the hall. Yet, he couldn't sense the presence of even a single King-level cultivator.
"Are they really that hard to find?" he wondered. Unlike most people, Lein had reached his power through an unusual path. Even he didn't fully understand the dividing lines between the various power levels.
It didn't take long before they arrived at the reception desk.
Lein looked at one of the staff and spoke in a casual tone, "Excuse me, I'd like to complete my registration as an elder."
At first, the reception staff didn't pay much attention to them. But the moment those words left Lein's mouth, the atmosphere shifted. Several heads turned, eyes widening in surprise.
One of the staff members, a man in a neatly pressed uniform, reacted the fastest. He swiftly stepped forward and stood before Lein.
"My apologies for not recognizing your arrival sooner, sir," he said with a respectful voice. "I'm Trenoz, and I'll be assisting you."
Lein gave a faint smile and pulled out his elder token, handing it to the staff member.
Trenoz accepted it with both hands and immediately began inspecting it. He turned around and started operating a spherical device behind the desk. A soft glow emerged from the object, casting a gentle shimmer across its surface.
Lein and the others watched in silence, occasionally glancing around the still-busy hall.
After a minute, the inspection was done. Trenoz returned the token with both hands, maintaining his respectful demeanor.
"It's complete, Elder Lein. Please check the results," he said politely.
Lein took the token and quickly scanned its surface. Nothing had changed physically, but as he stared a bit longer, an information panel appeared before him, displaying various data regarding his new status as an elder.

His eyes narrowed as he reviewed the listed benefits. There were numerous privileges tied to his rank, including high-tier resources and the right to shape a personal law system for a thousand years. One of his eyebrows rose slightly.
"A thousand years?" he muttered with a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. For him, that was an incredibly long span of time. Even though a millennium was barely a blink in cosmic terms, seeing it written out like this still surprised him a little.
Beyond that, there were several mandatory duties he had to undertake. Lein quickly checked through them one by one. Most were minor tasks, such as teaching disciples certain skills, supervising a sect mining zone for a while, or scouting for potential new members. But one section drew his attention— the special mission field.
It was still blank.
Lein frowned slightly, pondering for a moment before shifting his focus to another part of the panel—the teleportation feature. His eyes lit up as he reviewed the available destinations.
"This is great," he said with a satisfied tone. He no longer needed to rely on conventional transport to get around.
Finally, his gaze landed on the "Private Domain" section, which remained empty. Lein narrowed his eyes, thoughtful.
"Where would that be?" he wondered silently. After a moment of reflection, he looked up and turned toward the staff member in front of him.
"Is my private domain located on Elder's Isle?" he asked, wanting to confirm. Of all the listed destinations, Elder's Isle sounded like the most reasonable choice.
The staff member nodded, his expression remaining pleasant. "That's correct, Elder Lein. There are many vacant residences there that you and your companions may occupy," he explained with a professional smile.
Lein gave a small nod in response. "Alright…"
But his mind was filled with questions. Could he bring Laras and Efan with him through teleportation?
To test it, Lein enveloped both of his companions in his dream energy, feeling his power flow around them. Without hesitation, he selected "Elder's Isle" from the teleportation list.
In an instant, the space around them trembled. A familiar sensation of teleportation washed over him—like being pulled through a tunnel of light.
When his senses stabilized, the three of them were standing in a wide open field with a circular platform at its center.
All around them, small groups of people were chatting casually. Unlike other teleportation zones packed with foot traffic, this one was calm—more like a quiet community than a transportation hub.
The people nearby immediately turned their eyes toward them. Some looked surprised, as if it was their first time seeing newcomers.

Lein carefully observed his surroundings. Children were running around the edge of the field, laughing gleefully as they played with glowing energy balls. Not far from them stood a small hut, the scent of snacks drifting enticingly from within. On the other side, a few young men were pushing wooden carts filled with construction materials, chatting casually as they worked.
Before Lein could take another step, a young woman suddenly dashed toward them.
