Chapter 895: Chapter 495 How to Trap This Blind Guy_2
“What about you? What level of wizard are you? I see that your magic power reaction is almost as strong as a Truth Mage,” asked Negris.
Grey shook her head, “No, I am just an Arcane Magician, but when I get especially angry, the other me inside comes out. She can negate all truths, voiding all truth magic, making me the enemy of all Truth Mages. Of the four Truth Mages in Magic Star City, three of them wish I would just disappear forever.”
“Tsk, tsk, tsk, negate all truth? Even in the Forbidden Magic Domain?” inquired Negris.
Grey paused, “Is there such a truth? I don’t think so. Of the four Truth Mages I know, none possess the Forbidden Magic Domain. Is there really such a twisted truth? That would make him the enemy of all mages, even more hated than me.”
“Uh, yes, I’ll introduce you when we have the chance,” Negris said.
The flying car slowly traveled, reaching the abode of the cave-dwellers by the riverbend, planning to navigate along the river, but upon arrival, they found the cave-dwellers in the midst of some large festival, gathered around a fire basin, dancing and jumping about.
Looking at the familiar fire basin, Negris frowned and said, “Did we forget something?”
Bang! The flames in the fire basin suddenly surged upward.
“Woohoo~ Woohoo~” The cave-dwellers thought their tribute had caused something extraordinary in the fire basin, and their dancing and singing grew even more fervent.
As the flames died down and the fire basin extinguished, the contents of the basin had quietly slipped onto the flying car and collapsed there, complaining, “Lord Nage, you’re really stingy, making me run so far. But this forest is so strange, I could sense my master’s location, but somehow I just couldn’t get there. Thankfully, you came out; otherwise, I’d become one of these cave-dwellers’ totems.”
“You know I’m stingy and still you complain? Be careful, or I might throw you back down. Do you know why you couldn’t get in? Because you’re a demon—you’d contaminate those flowers and plants. You should quickly ask the God of Life to teach you how to conceal your demonic aura, otherwise, you’ll never get in,” Negris said.
Hearing someone mention him, the God of Life emerged from Ange’s left shoulder, while Little Sapling popped out from the right shoulder.
This was Grey’s first time seeing such a scene, and she was utterly bewildered. The God of Life?
…
“Inhale, inhale strongly, hissss ma du muh@¥#…” The Lord of Terror was forcefully stuffed into a suit of armor, and with a series of incantations, the demonic aura it emitted gradually lessened until it completely disappeared.
Negris leaned in and sniffed, nodding, “Can’t smell the demon anymore, Old Tree really does know all sorts of magic.”
The God of Life replied leisurely, “Just lived a bit longer.”
The armor moved, and the voice of the Lord of Terror came from inside, “Amazing, I feel like I’ve merged with this armor, not uncomfortable at all.”
“Stand properly, let me have a look,” Negris said.
The Lord of Terror stood upright.
Negris lifted the visor of the armor, peering inside at the emptiness, even reaching his hand in without touching anything.
“Hehe, stop touching, it tickles,” the voice of the Lord of Terror came from inside the armor.
Negris quickly withdrew his hand, shaking it off distastefully, “If you stand there like that, others might think it’s just an empty suit of armor and might wear you.”
Lifting the visor, the Lord of Terror said, “So, what is he willing to sell then?”
Negris also disguised himself by tying a tag around his neck, which read: Pet Nage, lives at XXX City XXX Road, if found please contact the owner, generous reward.
“Is this suitable? Pretending to be a pet? Such an embarrassing look,” Negris said uncomfortably pinching his tag.
“It’s suitable, very suitable. Pets kept by wizards are bizarre, wearing a hat would make you look even more like one,” Grey said.
Negris then took out his magician’s hat and put it on.
Instead, Durken took off his hat. The Magician’s Council was very hostile toward magicians, and if he had continued to dress like a magician, he might not have been able to enter the city.
After driving through the night, they soon arrived at Magic Star City, a thousand kilometers away.
Magic Star City was built on a mountain, a straight, towering Stone Mountain that jutted out from the plains, the summit flat like a tabletop upon which the city was constructed.
There were several methods to ascend to Magic Star City, the first being twenty-eight elevators around the mountain.
These elevators varied in size; the smaller could hold a few carriages, and the larger could hold hundreds of tons of food supplies. Their continual operation provided the city with its daily necessities.
The second method was to fly. Wizards showcased their magical prowess, flying horizontally, vertically, standing, sitting, on a donkey, or on a broom, as long as one could ascend, it was considered impressive.
The third method was the teleportation array, not worth mentioning.
Ange stored the flying vehicle in the Divine Realm and they all walked towards Stone Mountain in the distance.
Grey wrapped herself tightly in a cloak, only revealing her eyes, and began explaining, “The Stone Mountain on which Magic Star City is located is two hundred meters high, and the city has fifteen deep wells several hundred meters deep, continuously pumping water to meet the needs of the entire city.”
“The city has a permanent population of about ten thousand, divided into five factions. They form the Magician’s Council which governs the whole city, and they also jointly host the Magician’s Council.”
Negris thought of a question, “Wait, you mentioned four Truth Mages before, with three of them wanting you gone forever. Why are there five factions then?”
Grey’s expression was a bit peculiar, “I’m the fifth one.”
“Ah, right, the denier of truth, but aren’t you only at the level of an Arcane Magician?” Negris asked.
“When I get angry, I can unleash the power of the Truth Level, and they don’t know that, plus I can restrain them,” Grey explained.
Negris skeptically asked, “Why do I feel you’re a bit excited? Are you planning to stir up trouble? I’m warning you, our mission here is to find that thing that can break the Annihilation Boundary. If you want to cause trouble, wait until we leave.”
“Okay,” Grey agreed briskly.
It seemed Grey really did want to cause trouble, but this was understandable. She had suffered so much, and if it weren’t for Ange’s rescue, she would now be a useless person, maimed and mute. She truly loathed the ones who had plotted against her.
And who had plotted against her? Of course, it was three of those four Truth Mages.
Curious about how she planned to cause trouble, just as I was about to inquire further, suddenly, a voice interrupted, “Hey, do you sell that Juvenile Dragon?”
Juvenile Dragon? Where was a Juvenile Dragon? Everyone turned their heads and saw a nobleman poking his head out of a luxurious carriage, looking at their group.
Negris looked left and right, finally realizing that everyone’s gaze was concentrated on him, and then it dawned on him. The Juvenile Dragon was him? This man wanted to buy him?
Seeing no response, the aristocratic man impatiently asked again, “Hey, I’m talking to you. Will you sell this pet Juvenile Dragon? How much? You’ve put hats on it, isn’t it for sale? Name your price.”
Everyone exchanged glances, hats had that implication?
Silver Coin immediately stepped forward, rubbing his hands eagerly, “Ah, esteemed guest, how should we address you? You really have an eye, this is a rare Juvenile Gold Dragon, extremely scarce. Although it’s a Sub-dragon, it looks just like a Giant Dragon; if you take it out once it grows, you’ll attract the attention of the whole city. Such a unique and precious thing, how can it be measured by money?”
Hearing it was a Sub-dragon, a hint of disappointment flashed in the nobleman’s eyes, but hearing it looked just like a Giant Dragon, his interest was instantly piqued. A Sub-dragon was good, but a real Giant Dragon was not something he could own.

It was said that Giant Dragons were extinct. If Silver Coin insisted it was a Giant Dragon, he would have been suspicious, but Silver Coin’s honesty about it being a Sub-dragon made him seem more trustworthy.
“You’re right, such a unique and precious thing, how can it possibly be measured by money? What do you want in exchange?” the nobleman said generously, yet he did not give his name, obviously feeling that Ange’s group was not worthy to know it.
Negris was irked but had to keep smiling, with Silver Coin already hands on, not knowing how to swindle this shortsighted fellow, he just maintained his smile and cooperated.
