Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 203: My actions should not hurt her

Theo’s POV:

The next few minutes were quite entertaining for me. Darius was trying hard to defend himself to his father, which was funny to watch—still, it wasn’t satisfying enough for me.

He had hit me multiple times! I have a principle of never forgiving my opponents. I make them pay for everything they did to me—and I will get my revenge in the future!

Celestia, on the other hand, was very much confused by the whole situation. In her mind, she was still not able to believe that I am a normal Half-Mage.

I like the way she keeps on referring to me as the dark-haired man. Perhaps I can keep my hair permanently in this color for her if she likes it this way.

"But father, it is really unfair to reprimand me for this. I was just trying to find out the truth," Darius argued with Oberon.

"No! You should have come straight to me and informed me about this. Instead, you took the matter into your own hands and assaulted an innocent man. So stop trying to defend yourself and accept your punishment."

"Okay, father! I accept that what I did was wrong. Please give me the sentence," he finally said.

I was surprised that Darius accepted defeat this easily without putting up a fight. So that’s why he is a coward—as he agrees with everything that his father says. It is really stupid to take responsibility for something which is not actually your fault.

"I instruct you to apologize to Samuel’s son. And then you are going to be locked up in the cage for the next twenty-four hours," he said.

"I accept the punishment, father," Darius said and looked at me.

"I am.... really sorry..... for my actions," he said that to me with much difficulty.

"I accept your apology, prince," I lied to him.

His apology didn’t even feel real to me. He was just saying those words without meaning them. Perhaps his pride is stopping him.

I don’t understand why he even has pride—as it is for the people who have accomplished something in their life. So far, he has done everything under his father’s supervision. If he is given a quest to do it alone, then he will definitely fail in that!

Whatever, my quest is accomplished here! Not only did I manage to save my cover, but also I made Oberon punish his own son.

I glanced at my love for one last time before leaving the chamber. She didn’t want me to leave either. She was thinking about sinking her fangs on my neck and sucking my blood.

So I make her thirsty for no reason?! Even I wasn’t able to comprehend why she was thirsty for me alone—but not for others. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

I am willing to offer her my blood, but unfortunately, my blood is silver in color. No one else in all three realms has this color of blood. That is the only reason why I am unable to offer my blood to her.

I should really find a way to break her free from this curse. But I don’t think that it is actually a curse for her—as the Vampire in her has definitely enhanced her beauty even more.

As the sun started to disappear little by little in the Northern mountains, the lands started to get cooler. And surprisingly, I have gotten used to this bone-chilling temperature.

I stood next to the large window and viewed the lands that were getting darker and darker as time went by. My heart was longing for her!

She was standing before me, but I didn’t even have the liberty of taking her in my arms and consoling her. She is struggling so much internally!

Oberon is forcing her to do things that are against her will. I should do something soon to free her from the cage.

"That was a close one, Theo," I heard Ivory say out of a sudden. I shuddered immediately and turned to my side. When did she get here?

She was wrapped up in the brown-fur blanket. It looks like she still hasn’t gotten used to this climate like me.

"Why did you keep on staring at her? That is the reason why Edwin hit you," she said.

Ivory instigated my anger again by talking about that incident. I clutched the window pane next to me and tried hard to resist my temper.

Ivory sensed my emotions, and she patted my arm gently. "Theo, calm down! I know that it must have been hard for you to swallow the pride and take the abuse. I am so proud of you that you managed to do it somehow—"

"I am definitely going to get back at him.........." I growled out in anger.

"Yes, Theo! You will get back at him. Now just calm down. And before that, you have to stop the coronation from happening," she reminded me.

I almost forgot about the coronation. She must never get crowned—especially not as Oberon’s daughter. The only crown she must wear in her head is the one that I give her! She is supposed to be my Queen—and I will make that happen soon.

"Thank you for reminding me about my quest, Ivory. Now we have to come up with a plan to stop the coronation. What strategy do you propose?"

"Well," she thought for a while. "I think that the only way you can stop the coronation is by showing to everyone how unfit Celestia is for the crown. This is the only way you have."

"Ivory, have you gone completely mad? She is the Dawn! Everyone here sees her as a deity. There is no way I will be able to make everyone believe that she is unfit for the crown."

"Yes, you can! She is entirely powerless now—and she is incapable of even yielding her Fae powers. All you have to do is, show this to the others too. Then the Fae houses will eventually turn against Oberon in crowing her."

So basically, I would have to cause even more chaos—but I also should make sure that my actions don’t cause pain to Celestia!
