Forsaken Starfall-Chapter 158- zalvarich & salksha pov (1)
The wind roared past their ears, creating a deafening noise. The air pressure slapped against their skin as two human figures fell freely from behind clumps of white clouds.
Zalvarich narrowed his eyes against the wind. His purple robe fluttered wildly behind his back. He turned his body in the air and saw a stretch of foreign land below.
"This place..."
Salksha, falling beside him, opened her eyes wide. She saw giant stone pillars towering through the clouds and ancient architecture blending with the cliffs.
"Whoa, this building..."
Salksha turned quickly to Zalvarich. "Oi 00.."
"Isn't this?!" Salksha shouted, trying to beat the sound of the wind.
"Yes, you are right, tomboy woman, this is the Dragon Kingdom.." Zalvarich nodded slowly. A wide smile slowly carved onto his face. "Heh."
"After getting out of there, we got summoned here instead.."
*Truly a good opportunity.. eh impossible... I just killed their general.. haha but what can be done right.. hm hm what can I do here...*
Zalvarich thought for a moment, his eyes flashing purple behind his hair blown by the wind.
*Hmm hmm maybe I will recruit some new members for captain 00 and maybe run my ritual here... oh right, my bounty doesn't apply here right? Plus there are no Guardians here.. haha
damn this good!! Hell yeah!
I just need to teleport the 00 captains here..! Zalvarich muttered in his heart.
"Hahah, I guess I have to thank that Fyar tomboy woman!" shouted Zalvarich while turning to Salksha.
"Huh? What did you say 00?? Can't hear you!!" replied Salksha.
Click.
Zalvarich snapped his fingers.
Instantly his body stopped falling. He floated stably in the air in a relaxed position, legs crossed as if sitting on an invisible chair in the middle of the sky.
Meanwhile, Salksha continued to slide heavily downwards because of gravity.
"Eh?" Salksha looked up in shock. Her eyes stared annoyed at Zalvarich who was getting further away above. "Oi bastard 00!!!"
Zalvarich smiled slyly seeing that sight. He laughed freely. His body then dived sharply down, speeding to match Salksha's falling speed.
He positioned himself right beside Salksha who was panicking. Zalvarich folded both hands behind his head, striking a relaxed pose as if sunbathing on a beach.
"Do you have a plan, tomboy woman?" asked Zalvarich casually.
"Do you know recommendations for good food here? I rarely come here, and oh do you know? Recommendations for good places to hunt monsters? No not that, where is the dungeon here? Oh right, I have a plan!" Zalvarich babbled fast while moving his hands enthusiastically in the air.
"Huh? One by one!" protested Salksha, her silver hair messy covering her face.
"Agh stupid BITCH!!!" Salksha shouted in frustration. She hurriedly turned her body, spreading her arms and legs to resist the falling speed and prepare for an emergency landing.
Zalvarich sped up his pace. He overtook Salksha then deftly caught the woman's body in a princess carry.
The wind shock stopped instantly when Zalvarich's levitation magic enveloped them both.
Salksha sighed in relief, her hands reflexively wrapped around Zalvarich's neck. "Oh my god, you scared me 00..."
"Hehe sorry sorry, I just wanted to tease you."
"Oh right, I ask again, want to join or not? If not I'll just drop you," said Zalvarich with a flat tone, his eyes glinting playfully.
Salksha chuckled softly. "Maybe I will think about it later."
She then shifted her gaze to the surroundings. "But we are really in the Dragon Kingdom huh."
Zalvarich joined in viewing the panorama before them.
The view was majestic. Sharp limestone mountains towered high like dragon teeth, covered in dense green forests. Several stone islands floated statically in the air, connected by giant root bridges or waterfalls spilling into the clouds below. Ancient temples with tiered curved roofs perched on cliff peaks. In the distance, dragon silhouettes flew across the setting sun.
"Ah dragons there," Salksha pointed at the flying dragons.
"Hm they don't use their human forms when flying huh..."
"Want to kill?" asked Zalvarich, one eyebrow raised.
"No, I haven't eaten, don't, I'm already tired fighting that boss earlier," said Salksha while shaking her head.
"Well you are right, you are right.." said Zalvarich. "Well we are in the worst place for humans you could say.."
Salksha laughed lightly. "Ah you still think dragons are hate humans?"
"Yes," Zalvarich nodded firmly. "Well after reading a bit of history I can understand why they are like that.."
"Well let's just hope, maybe the citizens are normal" said Salksha optimistically.
Zalvarich slowly began lowering his body toward the nearest green grassy hill protruding toward the abyss.
"Ah btw we are now like a romantic couple in a novel come to think of it," said Zalvarich suddenly.
Salksha flinched slightly. She saw her position still carried by Zalvarich with the background of the setting sun and floating islands. She laughed lightly. "Haha Shit, you are right 00."
She then touched both of Zalvarich's cheeks with her palms. Salksha made a fake feminine expression, puckering her lips and winking excessively. "All I need to do now is kiss you and make your face blush."
"Hoo? Just try it, I'm ready," said Zalvarich challenging. He brought his face closer.
"Come on, come on"
Zalvarich narrowed his eyebrows waiting.
Salksha brought her face closer intimately, then suddenly stuck out her tongue mocking. "Blee, gotcha."
Zalvarich chuckled while shaking his head. "Hah! I knew you didn't have the guts to do it."
"No guts?" Salksha was slightly offended, her eyebrows dipping sharply. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
Zalvarich's feet finally touched the thick grassy ground on top of the hill. He bent his knees slightly to cushion the landing.
Zalvarich released his hold on Salksha.
Salksha immediately dropped herself, leaning back on the grass swaying in the wind. "I want to rest first 00, I'm so tired fighting that dungeon boss.. aghh damn.." She stretched her stiff arm muscles.
She sighed deeply staring at the orange sky. "Alright now now regarding the next step next step..."
"Eat 00 what else," said Salksha with spirit, she immediately sat up straight.
"Huh?" Zalvarich looked at Salksha confused.
"You said it yourself promising to give me other food after defeating that monster."
Salksha pointed at the dragon valley view in front of them. "Plus isn't it good eating here? Look at the view in front of us."
Zalvarich looked around. Cool wind blew carrying the scent of wet earth and fresh leaves.
He then nodded slowly. "Hm, good idea."
