From Beast Abilities to Sect Grand Master-Chapter 289: Immature?
The owner of the voice stepped out of the mansion, and the house guards made way for him.
It was Han Xin, Han Dang’s brother.
He looked like his brother and was around the same age as Han Dang, appearing to be in his late forties.
Brushing off something from his silk and exquisite robe, he held his head up and squinted his eyes at Han Dang.
"If it isn’t my beloved brother." He shook his head and gave out a sigh.
Han Xin smiled and nodded at the crowd which had gathered to watch the commotion.
"I apologize for your time.
"My elder brother suddenly came back after all these years.
"Pardon his antics; being ostracized and banished from the family must have been a huge blow to him."
He turned and walked toward Han Dang next.
"If you have any grievance, it’s a family matter.
"Be mature and let’s settle it like grown-ups.
"You and I at our age should be thinking of spending time with our grandsons already."
He put his hands onto Han Dang’s shoulders, trying to show that he cared for his elder brother.
Boom!
Qi wave radiated out of Han Dang’s body, and it made Han Xin stumble back.
"Master Han!" The house guards quickly went over and held onto Han Xin, preventing him from falling onto the ground.
"You…" Han Xin pointed at Han Dang, wanting to give him a piece of his mind.
But he stopped himself and looked at the crowd again.
"I’m so sorry about this. I will try to settle it with my brother."
Hearing this, the crowd looked at Han Dang and started to shake their heads at him.
"He is the elder brother and yet is behaving so immaturely."
"I can understand why the family head decided to banish him so many years ago."
"To think he still has the gall to appear and make a ruckus out here."
They weren’t pleased with what they perceived Han Dang to be.
Lin Fan thought for a moment and decided there must be more behind the scenes.
He had been in Han Dang’s shoes on many occasions.
He waited to hear what Han Dang had to say.
If needed, he would be more than willing to help him.
After all, he needed the lead on where to find Master Su Qi Nian.
"Ha Ha Ha." Han Dang looked into the sky and laughed out loud.
After a few bursts of laughter, it stopped abruptly, and he looked down at Han Xin.
"You still dare to call me brother?
"If it weren’t for you instructing the servants to put Qi suppressing elixir into my food, how would I have been banished from the family!"
Han Dang pointed his finger at Han Xin, his eyes opened wide and bloodshot as he raged.
"Repeating the same lies to push your failure onto me again?" Han Xin swung his arm and refuted Han Dang’s allegations.
"Lies? Then explain how I could be at Soul Transformation Level now!"
Han Dang unleashed all his Qi, and a white glow engulfed his body.

Gusts of strong wind swirled around him, blowing at the house guards and Han Xin.
Making them struggle to stand up, they had to hold onto each other for support.
The crowds weren’t spared, and they took steps back, getting out of the way.
"What? He is at Soul Transformation Level."
"It must be. My Cultivation Detection Ring glowed red, a sign that someone is at Soul Transformation Level."
"Wait, does it mean that Han Dang is telling the truth?"
"Han Xin really framed his elder brother?"
The crowd grew suspicious.
Han Dang’s display of his cultivation level had swayed their opinions.
They glanced over at Han Xin with eyebrows raised.
Before Han Xin could speak, Lin Fan mouthed the words, "Get the servants to confess and I will admit to your allegations."
He was sure that’s what Han Xin would say next.
"Get the servants to confess and I will admit to your allegations," Han Xin pointed at Han Dang and said.
Bingo.
But Han Xin continued saying, "Your cultivation level now might have been just luck, or you’ve used dark cultivation methods like dual cultivation to take someone’s cultivation level. It doesn’t prove anything!"
He is even more shameless. Lin Fan shook his head and thought to himself silently.
Veins appeared at Han Dang’s temple; he was full of rage and out of words at the shamelessness that Han Xin had displayed.
The whip in his hand glowed as he injected his Qi into it.
"Who dares to move!" Few figures leaped out of the mansion.
They surrounded Han Dang, each of them with an artifact in their hands.
They were elders of the Han Family, with their loyalty bribed by Han Xin’s mother’s money and resources.
One of them used the calligraphy brush in his hands and swiped it at Han Dang.
Whoosh.
Dark ink shot out at him.
Han Dang used the whip and cracked it at the ink.
The whip burnt with a bright flame, but it was unable to clear the dark ink.
Other elders also used their artifacts.
Lin Fan knew he had to act.
Boom!
A strong gust of wind blew in the elders’ direction, and the next moment when they looked, Han Dang was no longer where he was.
He was now thirty meters away with a very young man.
Lin Fan patted Han Dang’s back and whispered to him, "I’m Lin Fan. Just let me handle this."
"But they are at Soul Transformation Level…"
Even though Artifact Cultivators couldn’t really fight without their artifacts, Han Dang was still worried about Lin Fan.
After all, he was only at Core Formation Level.
Lin Fan smiled and assured him, told him not to be too worried.
He turned to the elders and Han Xin, saying loudly, "Father, since they chastise you for being immature,
"Let me show them what it’s like to be immature.
"After all, I’m so young; I believe my uncle wouldn’t punish me for that."
Lin Fan gave a wide grin as he walked toward the elders and Han Xin.
