Future Beast World: Becoming A Pampered Beauty-Chapter 524 - 463: The Children Are Sensible
"Uncle Lou, give me one of every flavor of dried fish! Daddy can’t tell me what to do here, so I’m going to stuff myself!" Zhenzhen boldly demanded.
Sang Luo laughed. ’So that’s why this little girl insisted on coming with me. She’s scared of her dad. She falls asleep the moment class begins, but her eyes light up at the mention of good food!’
"Heh... It’s fine if she’s not good at her lessons. As long as she can read and write, that’s all that matters. I couldn’t get into books when I was young either. The moment I saw those boring scrolls, I’d get sleepy. But didn’t I still end up on the throne of the Sea Emperor? And I’ve been here for hundreds of years." Lou Xianyue cradled Little Zhenzhen, gently stroking her fluffy little head. He was utterly charmed.
As if she’d found a kindred spirit, Little Zhenzhen’s eyes welled up. "WAH! Uncle Lou, you really get me! Homework is so painful! I wish you were my real daddy!"
Lou Xianyue’s silver eyes brightened. He turned to Sang Luo and said cheerfully, "I’d be more than happy to! Sang’er, why don’t you talk it over with the Young Master? Let Zhenzhen live with me for a few years."
Little An walked over. "Zhenzhen, don’t let this smiling fish, my dad, fool you. He assigns me fifteen scrolls on statecraft a day and makes me memorize an entire volume of the South Sea Chronicles in three days."
The moment she heard that, Little Zhenzhen SWOOSHED out of Lou Xianyue’s arms and back into her mother’s. ’Wuwu... Mermaid Uncle is terrifying too! How can he assign even more homework than my dad! Mommy is the best after all!’
Sang Luo couldn’t help but chuckle as she stroked the little one’s head. The poor girl was so scared she had airplane ears. Then, she shot Lou Xianyue a reproachful look. "Aren’t you afraid you’ll work the kids to death?"
’For a father and a Sea Emperor, he’s just so lazy. He’s either fast asleep or foisting his work off on his subordinates. At such a young age, Blue Eucalyptus has to help his father manage the treasury and state affairs. The son is far more capable than the father!’
Lou Xianyue rubbed the tip of his nose. "Little An is very clever; this much homework is a piece of cake for him. Sigh, thankfully he doesn’t take after me. Little Carp, on the other hand, has no interest in these tedious theories on governance."
Sang Luo understood. "So what you’re saying is, Zhenzhen takes after you, and Little An takes after Si Ye. Fei Yuan did say he got excellent grades all through school, always at the top of the class with a perfect score in every subject."
"I’d heard about the Young Master’s reputation for being accomplished in both scholarship and combat. Back in the day, the Phoenix Emperor had no heir and even wanted to fight the Bian Clan for him, to pass his throne to the Young Master." Lou Xianyue scratched Zhenzhen under the chin. She tilted her little head back contentedly, her cat-like pupils narrowing.
The more Lou Xianyue looked at her, the more he adored her. ’How come I can’t have such a fluffy cub!’
"You know, I practically half-raised this child myself, so it’s only natural she takes after me... Sang’er, can you really not let Zhenzhen accept me as another father?"
Lou Xianyue turned that devastatingly handsome face of his toward Sang Luo, putting on a pitiful, pleading expression. It was an enchanting, bewitching sight—one that could make anyone willing to lay down their life for him.
Sang Luo blushed and gave a light cough. "I have no objections. In my heart, all of you are the children’s fathers. You’ll have to ask Si Ye about this, though. See if he’s willing to let his child have another dad..."
Lou Xianyue fetched a large bag of dried fish from the hall, along with a Qiankun Bag, and hung it on Zhenzhen’s little horn. "This is a gift from your new daddy!"
Little Zhenzhen said, "Thank you, Father Lou!"
Lou Xianyue replied, "Mm! Such a good girl~"
Sang Luo didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. ’Well, she’s already calling him that.’
"See? Our Zhenzhen is very smart," Lou Xianyue said, doing his best to win over his new daughter. "She’s just a little mischievous and can’t sit still. Once she gets serious about learning, she’ll pick things up in no time!"
Little Zhenzhen thoroughly enjoyed the praise, her whiskers twitching.
"Praise her too much and she’ll never come down to earth," Sang Luo said, pinching her little daughter’s proudly perked-up ears with a smile. "I’m not actually that worried about their grades, though. Little Zhenzhen’s schoolwork might be poor, but her natural talent and strength are incredible. There isn’t a single cub her age in the entire Western Region who can defeat her. She’s got a whole troop of little followers trailing after her."
"Haha! That sounds fascinating. Come, let’s go get something to eat. Little Zhenzhen, you can tell Father Lou and your big brother and sister all about your heroic deeds."
Little Zhenzhen blushed from the praise. She lifted her little head high, her tail perked up. "Then let’s start with how yours truly rescued Little Ru from the jaws of an Evil Beast! By the way, Little Ru is the daughter of the Great Elder of the Profund Turtle Clan..."
She recounted her tale with great passion and vivid detail, peppering it with a few shameless boasts. Little An and Little Carp listened with rapt attention, even saying they wanted to return to the surface with her in a few days to play.
Little Zhenzhen puffed out her chest, promising to introduce them to her whole entourage!
After they finished eating, Little Blue Eucalyptus said to Sang Luo, "Mother, I’m going to take my two little sisters to play by the Sea of Illusion. There are a lot of beautiful Purple Crystal Jellyfish there. I’ll catch some for them!"
"Go on, but be careful. Don’t get too carried away, and remember to come back."
"You got it!"
Little An led his two little sisters out to play, all of them in high spirits.
Once the children had left, Lou Xianyue no longer had to hold back. He opened his arms and pulled Sang Luo into his embrace.
He stared at her with burning desire, his voice thick with lust, "Sang’er, it’s been so long since we’ve..."
Sang Luo’s eyes were full of allure. She wrapped her arms around his neck, leaned in, and pressed her lips against his soft, sensual ones.
Lou Xianyue’s breathing instantly grew ragged. He swept her up in his arms and carried her to the bedchamber.
...
「That evening.」
Blue Eucalyptus returned with his two little sisters.
The normally quiet and gentle Little Carp had also caught three Purple Crystal Jellyfish. She placed them inside a Glazed Bottle, where they emanated a dreamy purple light in the darkness, pulsing gently as they drifted. It was an exquisite sight.
Many of the undersea Beastmen used these beautiful Purple Crystal Jellyfish as night-lights.
"Brother, Sister, look! This Purple Crystal Jellyfish is so pretty! Its little bell is even a little pink, just like my tail! I want to give it to Mother and Father!" Little Carp exclaimed, about to take the Glazed Lamp Bottle to find her parents.
Little Blue Eucalyptus quickly stopped her. "Mother returned today, so let’s not disturb Father."
Little Carp blinked her big, pinkish-blue eyes in confusion. "Hm? Are Father and Mother sleeping already? In that case, I’ll give it to Mother tomorrow morning!"
She was a little confused but decided to listen to her brother anyway.
Little Zhenzhen understood in an instant.
’Every time Mother was about to go back to the Marquis Mansion, that stinky dad of hers would find a way to get her out of the house. He’d often send her to the Phoenix Palace and leave her there for days on end! All so he could have some sweet, romantic time alone with Mother~’
"The last time I was at the Sea Palace, I discovered a Secret Realm," Little Zhenzhen proposed. "Let’s go explore it! I bet it’s full of treasure!"
Blue Eucalyptus and Little Carp cheered in agreement.
The three children ran off again.
...
「Inside the hall.」
Sang Luo was panting, her face still flushed. Her heart pounded as she glanced nervously toward the door.
"Relax. The children are sensible; they’ve gone again." The man’s robes were in disarray, and his long, silver-blue hair, like a vast river of stars, spilled across her face and her bare, snow-white skin, cool to the touch.
She had caught a strand of his long hair between her red lips.
The sight made his eyes darken further.
His long, jade-like fingers gently caressed her lips. "Shall we continue?"
Before Sang Luo could speak, a soft moan escaped her, and she was once again lost to his passionate onslaught.
They didn’t stop until late into the night.
Lou Xianyue thoughtfully helped her dress, a hint of unfulfilled desire still lingering in his eyes. He suppressed it and glanced toward the door. "You’re already here. Why are you still hiding?"
