Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed-Chapter 116: The White Calamity Awakens
"Impressive. As expected of the Draconian family!" Yakima smiled, acknowledging the raw, explosive power radiating from Austin’s transformed state.
The next moment, the ambient energy in the arena shifted violently. Her pure white eyes underwent a terrifying transformation—the iris of her left eye bled into pitch black, while her right eye remained a blinding white. The sclera inverted to match, creating a perfectly balanced, dual-toned gaze of absolute perception.
"She is serious now!" Rose yelled, staring in dread at her sister’s two-colored eyes.
"Really?" Aurelia was stunned, turning to Rose in surprise. The pressure hadn’t physically increased, but the psychological weight was sudden and suffocating.
"You see those eyes?" Rose gestured frantically to her sister’s changed gaze with her staff. "Those are the Soul Eyes... They can see through any skills and attacks... Hitting her now is close to impossible." She explained, her voice trembling slightly as she recognized her family’s ultimate bloodline ability.
"You heard that!!" Aurelia yelled at Austin, who stood ahead of them, his draconic aura flaring.
"Yeah, I understand."
Austin clenched his fists and shot forward. The sheer kinetic force of his launch send out a strong wind, throwing the two girls backward just from the shockwave.
WHOOSH!
He appeared in front of Yakima in a matter of seconds, sending a devastating, energy-infused punch aimed right at her chest. She merely moved her body a fraction of an inch to the side, effortlessly dodging his attack.
"I am not done!!! Warrior Multiple strikes!!" Austin yelled. He unleashed a localized hurricane of violence, throwing an unlimited amount of brutal punches at Yakima’s face and torso, not slowing down for a single beat.
Up in the stands, the crowd gasped.
"Wow!! Young master Austin is very powerful!" a student muttered, her face filled with surprise as she watched the blur of white hair and red aura.
"Yes. I can’t even see his moves... But still." A senior martial artist stared intently at Yakima. "Why isn’t his punch touching her? She is just standing still." he said, deeply confused by the optical illusion playing out below.
"You guys are slow, that’s why," Ken said. He pointed his finger at Yakima.
"To your untrained eyes, she is standing in one place, but to Assassins, she is moving... Just too fast for your eyes to follow." he explained, a drop of cold sweat rolling down his own cheek as he tracked her flawless footwork.
"What? Can someone move that fast?!!" someone asked in horror.
Down on the arena floor, Austin continued sending more punches, heavy sweat rolling down his face.
’I can’t believe this!! She is dodging every single one!!’ he yelled internally, watching in despair as Yakima smoothly moved her head and body, slipping through the gaps of his relentless barrage without showing a single sign of exhaustion.
CRACK!
Suddenly, Yakima’s ears twitched. She quickly leaped backward, and at that exact, millisecond-perfect moment, a lethal, glowing dagger shot out from the solid stone ground, right beneath her previous position. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"Huh?"
Yakima landed gracefully on one knee a few feet away. She stared at the jagged hole in the arena floor, then raised her dual-colored eyes to track the dagger, which flew like a boomerang back toward Aurelia’s waiting hand.
’This arena is reinforced with powerful legendary grade runes. How did her physical attack bypass them and even create a hole?’ Yakima thought, genuinely impressed as she stood upright.
"Impressive teamwork," she said, staring at Austin’s panting form, then slowly cracked her neck.
’It seems she finally got serious,’ Princess Delphine thought inwardly from her VIP seat, crossing her arms over her chest. ’I should see some of her true powers again.’
"Here I come, you two."
BOOOOM!!
The ground where Yakima stood spider-webbed as she vanished.
"Watch out!! She is attacking!" Austin yelled, his draconic instincts screaming as he turned around to warn the two girls in the backline.
"We know!!" Aurelia yelled, her daggers raised defensively.
"Yes you do."
"Huh?"
Rose turned around, only to see a gauntlet-clad fist already heading towards her chest.
"So fast?"
BAM!!!
"Augh!"
Rose vomited a mouthful of blood as the devastating impact shattered her magical barrier instantly.
"Still too weak, Little Sister," Yakima said in a low, cold voice that offered no familial warmth.
"Rose!!" The twins yelled in absolute shock as Rose flew backward like a broken doll. She passed Austin entirely and smashed violently into the reinforced wall at the far end of the Arena, dropping limply to the ground.
’I... I can’t move,’ Rose thought in creeping horror, staring at the sky as her body completely locked up.
"What the fuck!" Aurelia gasped, turning her furious gaze to Yakima. "She is your sister!!"
"That doesn’t mean I will go easy on her... Without your mage to power you up, you two are nothing," Yakima said mercilessly, and vanished into thin air once again.
"Behind you, Aurelia!!" Austin yelled, abandoning his frontline position and running desperately toward his twin.
"Right!"
Aurelia spun around with deadly precision, swinging her glowing dagger in a wide, defensive arc.
BAM!!
Yakima appeared directly in the path of the blade. With terrifying accuracy, she grabbed Aurelia’s right wrist—the hand holding the dagger—with her own left hand, stopping the lethal momentum instantly. Simultaneously, her right hand clamped down on the back of Aurelia’s neck like a vice.
"You are fast, dear... But your agility stat is far too low," Yakima whispered. She stepped into the assassin’s guard and sent her leg forward, delivering a brutal kick to Aurelia from behind.
BAM!!!
Aurelia flew completely out of the Arena bounds, smashing heavily onto the outer stone tiles, vomiting a spray of blood.
’My body... am I paralyzed?!’ she thought in pure shock, her fingers refusing to twitch even to grasp her fallen weapon.
Austin skidded to a halt, staring at his defeated sister outside the ring, then looked desperately over his shoulder at Rose’s unmoving form.
’What is happening here?’ he thought in total disbelief. His five-times stat multiplier meant nothing if his team was wiped out in three seconds.
In the audience, the previous cheers had died, replaced by a horrified silence. Even Hitachi’s stoic demeanor broke.
"What is happening? Why can’t they move?" Hitachi asked, his Celestial Eyes trying to read the lingering energy on the fallen girls.
"That is one of the ultimate advantages of the Soul Eyes," Hayatobi explained from the sidelines, his massive arms crossed as he watched his daughter dominate. "As of now, all of Yakima’s physical and magical attacks carry a severe paralyzing debuff. The moment she hits you, she transfers this necrotic debuff directly into your nervous system, rendering you paralyzed for ten full minutes. During this time, she can kill you easily."
"What? With such skills, she is technically invincible!!" Hitachi exclaimed, realizing the fatal flaw in fighting a close-quarters combatant whose very touch meant an automatic loss.
"Yeah. Now you know why she is known as the White Calamity," Hayatobi said with a heavy sigh, proud yet wary of the monster he had raised.
Up in the stands, Mirabella violently bit down on her lollipop, crushing the candy into pieces.
’Shit!! She is using the Soul Eyes, which means her debuff is tied to her bloodline. I can’t copy this skill!!’ Mirabella grumbled inwardly, entirely unbothered by the brutal beating her classmates just took, and only annoyed at her own System’s restrictions.
