Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed-Chapter 142: Wrath Of The Heavens
The air above the shattered chest hummed with ancient, concentrated energy. As the system interface populated, Mirabella stared at the floating artifact, recognizing it as a piece of equipment that transcended normal logic.
{Name: Armor of Bahamut: Gives five times complete physical, Magical and mental attacks immunity five times per day. Any creature can put on this armor.}
{Defense stat: +3,000,0000... Note, This stat will start dropping after the five times immunity have been used up.}
Mirabella froze. She stretched forth her hand towards the circular golden object hovering in the sky. It flew towards her, pulsing with a heavy, draconic aura, and hovered obediently in the air before her.
"I already have an armor, although this one is much stronger, but still..." She snapped her fingers, her mind making a swift decision, and Cupcake appeared, still in her massive, four-meter-tall winged tiger form.
"Huh?"
Cupcake stared at the golden chest, then at the massive, one-headed snake, which was trembling pathetically some distance away: "You haven’t killed it yet?" She asked in surprised, not expecting her usually ruthless Master to be so kind to a Realm Boss.
"Still thinking about it." Mirabella muttered, calculating the beast’s remaining worth, and moved the armor towards Cupcake.
"This is for you."
"Huh? What is this?" Cupcake asked, staring at the glowing, disk-like object.
"You will see." Mirabella placed the circular object on Cupcake’s head. Instantly, the divine metal reacted to the spirit beast’s aura. It started spreading, the golden chips expanding and interlocking rapidly, as it enclosed Cupcake in a magnificent, form-fitting golden armor.
"Impressive." Mirabella nodded her head in satisfaction.
’This armor must be special... It didn’t hinder her wings, tails or even legs... Even her head, the helmet didn’t cover her mouth, only her eyes and nose.’ She lowered her gaze to Cupcake’s massive paws, seeing perfectly engineered holes in the armor, which allows her to fully draw them out without clipping or restricting her movement.
"Ok, how does it feel?" She asked.
"Well... Super light... I don’t even feel like I am putting anything on." Cupcake said, shaking her armored body, the divine metal adjusting seamlessly to her muscles.
"Ok..."
BAM!
"Another?"
Mirabella turned her attention back to the golden chest, as a sinister, dark skull key rose into the air, hovering above her and radiating a chilling, abyssal energy that felt entirely different from the Hydra’s.
"A key?"
{Key to the demon god temple; It’s said that there are countless opportunities in the demon god temple, anyone who can locate it can have all treasures inside.}
’Demon God Temple... Let me get a point right here, the demon Emperor isn’t the demon god. Before the demon god, the demon emperor in the southern region is just a kid. I wonder... How powerful will the treasures be in that temple?’ She opened her palm, as the cold bone key landed gently on her hand. The lore implications were staggering. If the Emperor was just a regional boss, a God was a cosmic entity.
’I don’t know anything about this demon god, and I am sure the system won’t give me any answers, seems I will have to ask this snake.’ She thought, turning her predatory gaze back to the Realm Boss, and asked:
"Where is the demon god? And is he still alive?" She asked, her tone shifting from a looter to an interrogator.
"I have no idea of my master’s whereabouts. About if he is alive or dead, I also don’t know." Alphard answered, shivering under her stare.
"Why? You don’t even know about this little thing?! Are you hiding something from me!" Mirabella asked coldly, as her massive blade, Sunder, vibrated with dark bloodlust.
"I will kill you if you have no idea... I need to know this information." She added coldly.
"Well..." The massive snake raised its head to the red sky, visibly terrified of something far beyond the dungeon’s ceiling. After a long while, it lowered its gaze back to Mirabella:
"Eons In the space of time, deep in the cosmos, where the gods reside... There was a huge---"
"QUIET DOWN YOU BUG!!!!"
A thunderous voice, sounding impossibly ominous and vibrating with true cosmic authority, tore through the very fabric of the sky. The dungeon’s atmosphere shattered like glass, and a terrifying bolt of pure red lightning shot down from the cosmos, smashing directly into the begging snake.
GRAAAAAAAAA!!!
The beast screamed in unimaginable pain, its Realm Boss vitality entirely bypassed, and it shattered into fine ash in an instant. The residual energy wave of the attack—a shockwave of pure, unadulterated divine wrath—shot outward towards Mirabella.
WHOOSH!!
The ten celestial guardians—beings capable of dealing a billion damage each—shot forward automatically to stop the energy. They met the red wave, and instantly got shattered into dust, completely erased from existence without slowing the attack for even a fraction of a second.
"This?!!" Mirabella was stunned. The established power scaling of her world had just been violently broken.
"Spirit manipulation!!"
Adira flew forward and opened her two hands. Her divine starlight flared as all the ambient spirit energy in the space forcefully merged together, forming a massive, dense shield around them.
BOOOOM!!!
The red energy wave smashed into the fairy’s barrier, immediately creating deep, splintering creaks on it.
{Warning!! A Divine entity has descended, activating all defensive skills and system protocols!!!}
The system itself was panicking, throwing red alert screens across her vision. Without a moment of hesitation, recognizing a threat she absolutely could not fight, Mirabella sent the key, Cupcake, Sunder, and Adira back to her spirit Soul to preserve them, and activated her ultimate immunity skill: Godly Evasion. Instantly.
CRACK!!
BOOOOOOM!!!!
The absolute defense shattered like brittle ice. The cosmic force slammed into her. She flew backward like a broken doll, tearing a deep trench through the scorched earth, and smashed heavily on the ground. She violently vomited a mouthful of blood, her vision swimming in red.
{Damage taken: 1,000,000,000.}
{Defense: 0/7,535,440.}
{Health: 111,286,640/1,118,822,080.}
Mirabella lied completely paralyzed on the ruined ground, warm blood flowing freely from her face: ’How is this possible?! Godly Evasion should have made me completely immune to all attacks, why couldn’t it protect me from this?’ She thought, her mind reeling in sheer shock, watching as the dust slowly subsided, and the impossible, oppressive pressure vanished from the zone instantly, as if the god had simply lost interest and looked away.
