Game Invasion Era: Rise from Binding the Goblin King!-Chapter 142: Divine Crystal, Entering the Abyss Secret Realm
George was just about to enter the Abyss Secret Realm when there was a knock at the door.
"George, I’ll get it," Lily said, walking over and opening the door. She was surprised. "Mr. Ares? What are you doing here?"
George heard the voice and quickly stood up to greet him.
"I just had nothing to do today, so I came to check in." Ares smiled and stepped in, holding a jade box in his hand.
"Ares, did you find anything about the Bloodmist?" George asked curiously.
Ares hesitated for a moment and shook his head.
He didn’t want to tell George anything about Anderson. This was a war between War Gods, and involving George would be too dangerous.
Seeing that George was about to ask more, Ares handed him the jade box and said, "This is a reward from the academy."
"What is it?" George asked, taking it and opening it.
Inside was a small, clear purple stone that gave off a pure and strong energy.
"What is this?" George asked, confused. He didn’t see any information on the stone, so it wasn’t something dropped by a monster.
Ares explained, "It’s a Divine Crystal."
"Divine Crystal?" George was surprised. "Is this the reward for being the first in the secret realm test?"
"In a way," Ares nodded. "This test was ruined, so the points can’t be counted. But you were definitely first. I don’t think anyone will say anything about it."
"Thanks," George said, happily taking it.
He knew what a Divine Crystal did. It could increase a character’s class tier.
But he had two classes now: SSR-tier Martial Saint and SR-tier Frost Keeper.
He had already seen how powerful the Frost Keeper was, but the Martial Saint was also special. If he could raise it to SSS tier, there would be a big improvement.
The problem was, there was only one Divine Crystal, and it wasn’t guaranteed to work.
George looked at Ares and asked, "Ares, is there another Divine Crystal?"
Before Ares could answer, George added, "I can trade other items for it. Like artifact gear."
Ares widened his eyes in shock. "You have artifact gear?"
He shook his head quickly. "It’s not that we’re cheap. It’s just really hard to get. There’s only this one left."
"Just one?" George sighed in disappointment. Then he asked, "Is this one extracted?"
Ares nodded and didn’t hide it. "You need to kill ten demon bosses that are at least SSS tier to get one Divine Crystal."
SSS-tier bosses.
George was surprised and realized how valuable a Divine Crystal was.
SSS-tier bosses were rare and strong, but for him, they weren’t that hard to find.
Maybe he could offer some boss corpses to get a Divine Crystal.
Ares didn’t know what George was thinking. He just warned, "How you use this Divine Crystal is up to you. But I should warn you, the higher your class tier, the lower the chance of it working."
"Thanks, I’ll be careful," George said. He hesitated, but didn’t use it right away.
Ares nodded and didn’t stay long. He said, "The Sovereign City might have some trouble in the next few days. Don’t go out if you don’t have to."
"Okay," George nodded and didn’t ask more. He saw Ares off.
"Lily, want to go to the Abyss Secret Realm to level up?"
George turned to Lily, who was behind him, and asked.
"Ah?"
Lily was surprised and hesitated. "But Mr. Ares warned you not to take risks lately."
She knew about the demon mark, which would attract strong monsters.
George said, "Don’t worry. With Constantine and the others, I won’t be in danger. If you don’t want to go, I’ll go alone."
"No, I’ll go with you," Lily quickly said.
George greeted Eliex and took out the Abyss Secret Realm pass. He activated it right away.
A strong energy wave filled the space, and both of their bodies disappeared, appearing in a city.
Lily looked at the huge city, confused. "George, aren’t we entering the Abyss Secret Realm? What is this place?"
She had been to the Abyss Secret Realm before, but never to a city.
"This is a base the Sovereign City set up in the Abyss Secret Realm," George explained briefly. The two didn’t stay in the city and left right away.
The open area was empty, and monsters wandered around occasionally.
George felt a faint pain on his forehead. The demon mark had activated.
He wasn’t careless. He immediately summoned Constantine and the others.
The group suddenly appeared, but no one around noticed them.
"Hey, Lord, is this also the Abyss Secret Realm?" Constantine felt the familiar energy and looked at the city in the distance, unsure.
George nodded and didn’t explain much. He said, "Do you know a good place to level up? Better if there are a lot of 60-level monsters."
"Master, I found a place. Dragonblood Plains. There are a lot of dragon monsters around level 60," Golden Flame Dragon said excitedly.
Dragonblood Plains was found by accident. The most important thing was that killing those Dragonblood Dragons had a high chance of dropping Bloodline Crystals. Even if the dragon blood was thin, if there were enough, it could greatly improve his power.
"Is there an SSS-tier boss there?" George asked curiously.
"I didn’t pay attention to that," Golden Flame Dragon shook his head.
"Let’s go check it out first," George said. He wasn’t in a hurry. He grabbed Lily and jumped onto Golden Flame Dragon’s back.
At that time, Golden Flame Dragon had grown to tens of feet tall. He could now carry people and fly.
Roar!
A loud dragon cry echoed in the sky. He flew directly toward the distant horizon. Constantine and the others followed closely.
"George, killing 60-level monsters is too dangerous, isn’t it?" Lily felt worried in her heart.
"Don’t worry. Even if there’s danger, we can escape anytime," George was confident. With the secret realm pass, they could leave anytime.
As for Constantine and the others, they could also enter the Death Grave at any time.
"Okay," Lily nodded and didn’t say much.
The wind howled in their ears.
George took out the Divine Crystal and played with it in his hand. He was thinking about which class to upgrade first.
"Hey, master, what is this?" Elise fell from the air and stared at the crystal in his hand, her eyes shining.
"Want it?" George asked curiously.
Elise swallowed hard and said, "I feel this thing can help me unlock a second class."
Melina and Lilia came over too, feeling the energy from the Divine Crystal. They were all shocked.
"I feel the power of the gods."
Lilia looked at the Divine Crystal seriously.
"Does it help you too?" George asked curiously.
They all nodded, even Constantine came closer out of curiosity.
Ah, too bad there was only one Divine Crystal.
George sighed, more determined than ever to kill SSS-tier bosses and have the academy help extract more Divine Crystals.
"Elise, I’ll let you use this first."
After thinking for a while, George decided to give the Divine Crystal to Elise.
He could use it, but he wasn’t sure it would work.
Also, Frost Keeper would definitely level up once he finished the advancement quest.
He was only level 50 now, but Frost Keeper had already reached SR tier. At level 80, it could reach SSS tier, and maybe even reach False God.
"Really? Thank you, Master," Elise said happily. Without hesitation, she took the Divine Crystal, afraid someone might take it from her, and used it right away.
The others all looked jealous.
Clearly, the Divine Crystal would help them a lot too.
A huge wave of power surged around Elise, wrapping her up. She landed on Golden Flame Dragon’s back, sat cross-legged, and started to absorb and refine the power.
George and the others stood nearby, not disturbing her.
Within just a few minutes, the pure power disappeared, and Elise slowly opened her eyes. Her aura had changed a little.
"Master, I’ve awakened my second class—Elven Archer," she said excitedly. "And I can feel, if I use it again, I can break through to False God."
"Really?" George was surprised. That was an unexpected gift.
Golden Flame Dragon and Lilia had already reached the peak of SSS tier. They were ready to break through to False God at any moment. With Elise now, he had three more False God-level warriors by his side. That would give him a real chance to fight against a War God.
"Master, we’re reaching Dragonblood Plains," Golden Flame Dragon said suddenly.
George looked into the distance.
Below the misty clouds was a vast plain. Huge creatures moved in and out of sight.
Boss monsters!
George was shocked. These Dragonblood Dragons were all bosses, and the lowest was level 55. Most were between 60 and 65.
This was definitely a great place to level up.
George thought about the Dark Warlord in the Beast King Secret Realm after being infected by Bloodmist. If it weren’t for the risk of Blood Poison, that place would have been a great spot too.
A loud roar echoed from below. Several dark shapes shot up into the sky. They had clearly spotted them—or sensed the demon mark on George.
"Quick fight. Don’t get stuck with these guys," George ordered coldly.
There were a lot of Dragonblood Dragons here, and all were bosses. Their stages were all at least A tier. If too many surrounded them, it could be dangerous.
"Lord, I can take care of these guys myself," Constantine said excitedly. He swung his War Hammer and rushed forward first.
Golden Flame Dragon didn’t wait either. He let out a long dragon cry and shot out a huge wave of dragon flame, covering the Dragonblood Dragons below.
The battle started right away.
George flew into the air under the protection of Melina and Lilia, and looked at the Dragonblood Dragons’ stats.
[Shadow Gale Dragon Boss, Level 60, Stage SS]
[Shadow Twin-Headed Dragon Boss, Level 60, Stage SR]
[Thunderous Behemoth Boss, Level 65, Stage SS]
...
George saw the stats of these Dragonblood Dragons. They were all 60-level boss monsters, but still no match for Constantine and the others.
What surprised him the most was Elise’s performance.
