Game's Extra: Starting With SSS-Ranked 1000-Death Talent-Chapter 84: Familiar Girl
Noa flashed a smile at the man.
"Sure. Lead the way," he said, and bid farewell to Punchy, showing him a cheeky wink.
Then he followed Viktor, the destination being the metallic chamber one floor below.
Taking an elevator down and conversing with the man didn’t take too much time.
"You look good. He didn’t slap you to death."
This was the only comment Viktor made.
"He tried at least," Noa answered, holding his head high.
The chamber was almost identical to the room they had back in the bunker.
It was just a sealed room with machinery junk outside.
Though it was much bigger and had a neater look.
"Should I just get inside? And what location are you guys sending me to farm EXP?" Noa asked.
Saying nothing but scoffing, Viktor’s eyes gleamed silently.
"You will see," he said after a while.
Without holding himself back, Noa opened the black door and got inside the special room, waiting for the light to leave.
Sure enough, his vision darkened, and mana pulled inside the gate.
His body moved through unseen constellations and shifted from one dimension into another.
This already familiar sensation never felt the same.
Each time it was novel and magical, bracing Noa for the slaughter he was about to start.
Suddenly, his vision was back.
Other senses found their way into his being as well, showing the environment he was in.
’Where am I?’ he pondered.
Going through his memory and saved images in his mind, Noa found nothing like this place.
The scent was the first thing he noticed.
It was sweet and fragrant, like he was smelling the color pink itself.
Meanwhile, the sound completely shifted his perception, creating pure chaos with unexplainable voices.
As for the eyes, Noa wasn’t sure what to make of the scene they saw.
A pure, sweet cotton stretched before him.
It covered an entire land and went beyond the horizon.
However, Noa wasn’t alone in this weird world.
The monsters that hid in fear because of his deathly smell looked out of place.
With a candy-like environment surrounding him and actually seeing unsightly beasts, Noa thought of only two things.
’Why did they send me here?’
’How did they obtain this gate?’
Still, instead of asking questions, he activated inspection and checked the trembling monsters.

’So they really are demons,’ Noa thought.
Demons were somewhat unique beings inside the Abyss.
They appeared much later in the game, and along with the Abyssal beasts, they were among the first to invade Velrox after the Sixth Abyss descended.
They were intelligent creatures filled with hatred towards humanity as a whole.
But for Noa, encountering them was a danger and an opportunity at the same time.
Demons were one of the few creatures that didn’t stop giving EXP no matter how many of them an Ember killed.
Humans were the same in that matter.
’Tifa, that sly fox. That’s why she sent me here,’ Noa realized.
But seeing how demons trembled in his presence, especially in this colorful land, he couldn’t resist and chuckled.
His death affinity was strengthened by each death.
After dying the last time, he even maxed out this weird attribute.
But the condition for others to notice it was still beyond his knowledge.
Rather than wasting time on mindless speculations or asking stupid questions, Noa charged and drew the blade on the way.
Each step toward the demons increased the feeling of fear they experienced.
Nevertheless, Noa was effective.
His body shot on the soft ground and swung the sword in a burst of attacks.
Demons were great with mana control—their survivability and versatility unmatched.
Still, Noa was unforgiving, his hands ruthlessly cutting through their mana barriers and reaching their hearts.
Beheading demons wasn’t enough.
They could survive with just their hearts, and the more potent their magic was, the longer they could survive.

One out of the three demons fell to Noa’s sword, his heart pierced and then shattered into pieces.
Like a ferocious beast that was hungry for blood, Noa lunged at another foe.
The same thing happened—the red sword dissected the flesh.
But Noa still had to add weight to each attack, as the blade needed his strength to slice through the armor demons were wearing.
As for the last opponent, Noa let her be.
Not because he was lenient toward the pretty demon with long horns, but because he wanted to find their establishment and raid it to the ground.
The fear and a strong scent of dread affected her sense of reason.
With a forest made of cotton trees and bushes, Noa followed her behind.
But before that, he shifted his mind inside the last demon he killed, who turned out to be an Archer.
As a result, Noa added an extra ability to his arsenal.

’Damn, it sounds useful,’ Noa thought, running after his prey.
He was always beyond her heightened perception and concealed his approach.
Killing the second demon netted him a level, putting him one step closer to his evolution and a new skill.
Progress was almost impossible for him, as everything was already maxed out.
At least, the Corpse Puppet proficiency could be increased.
The distance Noa had to cover wasn’t long.
Turns out, the demon trio weren’t that far away from their village, which wasn’t even that big to begin with.
Noa also encountered some wild animals on the way.
Starting with boars and foxes, the forest was full of beasts he could hunt for a measly experience point.
However, he wanted the bigger fish and ignored them altogether.
"There it is," he muttered. "Their military base and my EXP farm."
Standing in front of the magical array, Noa started thinking how to get inside without risking his ass too much.
Just then, he saw a girl with a familiar weapon in her hand, approaching the same village.
