Genius Manager: I Can Make All Girls Talented!-Chapter 154 - - Drama
The villa was no longer a paradise. It had become a stage, and the audience were gods now.
The announcement still echoed in everyone's minds: the viewers would choose who was eliminated next.
The girls had always been competitive. But now? The rules were different. This wasn't about impressing Darius anymore. This was about survival.
Everyone was quiet over breakfast. The only sound was the occasional clink of silverware against porcelain and the faint hum of the cameras, ever-watching. Yuna barely touched her food. Alicia picked at her fruit. Emma had gone for a run earlier and hadn't come back. Avery sat stiffly, eyes glued to her coffee.
Darius stood near the sink, arms folded, his back to them. Even he was quieter than usual.
"They want drama," Avery said at last. "We can't give them fear. If we look scared, we lose."
"Then what do you suggest?" Yuna asked, her voice low and guarded.
Avery leaned forward. "We act like nothing has changed. We hold the line. We don't tear each other down."
"Even if they ask questions meant to divide us?" Alicia asked.
"Especially then," Darius replied, finally turning. His voice was firm. "They expect jealousy. Betrayal. We give them unity, and we win."
But despite the tough talk, there was unease. Tension clung to the walls. Hidden behind polite conversation was a shared dread—no one knew how the audience truly saw them. No one knew who the real target was.
Interview Booth - Recording Day
Each contestant was brought into a private booth with a single chair, a soft spotlight, and a camera. There was no crew inside. Just a blinking red light and the weight of judgment.
Yuna
She sat with perfect posture, her expression open but strong.
"I came here for a break. And I found something more. I'm not going to beg for my place because I know what I bring. I know who I am. If you see that, great. If not... that's okay too. But I won't change just to be liked."
She looked directly into the camera.
"I love him. That's real. I won't apologize for it."
She took a breath, then added, "But if I go home... he knows where to find me."
Alicia
"People think I'm the quiet one. The sweet one. Maybe I am. But don't mistake quiet for weak. I know what I want. I know who I want. And I'm not here to fade into the background."
She paused.
"I trust Darius. I trust us. If that makes me a target, so be it. But I didn't come here to be a placeholder."
Emma
Her hair was still damp from her morning run. She wore no makeup. She looked raw.
"I was the first to fall for him. The first to believe in him. That's not changing. Not for cameras. Not for producers. Not for anyone watching behind a screen."
She leaned forward, her voice a whisper.
"I know what we have. I just hope you see it too."
Avery
Her eyes were sharp, calculating. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
"If you're watching this and hoping I'll break down, you'll be disappointed. I don't break. I adapt. I win. And Darius? He needs a queen, not a follower."
She smirked.
"So vote however you want. I'll still be standing tomorrow. And if I'm not... trust me, you'll feel my absence."
Darius
His expression was calm. Measured. But his voice had weight.
"I didn't come here for attention. I came here to find something real. And I did. More than I expected."
He looked into the lens.
"I won't plead. I won't apologize for who I've grown close to. If that means you vote me out... then maybe this show isn't about love after all."
A pause.
"But if you're still watching for the truth? Then you already know who belongs here."
Evening - Villa Courtyard
The group gathered again, hearts pounding behind composed faces. Sunset bathed the villa in gold. The firepit flickered to life.
A storm hovered on the horizon, far away but threatening. Thunder rolled in the distance. The symbolism wasn't lost on anyone.
The screen lit up. Harry appeared, face serious. He was no longer smiling.
"The vote has been tallied. One contestant will be leaving the villa... tonight."
Silence.
Each girl was stone-still, but their eyes told different stories.
Avery's hand subtly reached for Darius's. Alicia's fingers curled tightly in her lap. Emma's lips pressed into a pale line. Yuna stared forward, eyes locked on the screen, unblinking.
"And the one leaving... is..."
The pause stretched.
"The results will be revealed... tomorrow morning."
Gasps erupted.
"You can't be serious!" Emma shouted.
Harry's prerecorded voice continued. "To keep things fair, none of you will know who the lowest-voted contestant is until dawn. Use this time wisely."
The screen flicked off.
The silence after was suffocating.
Late Night - Shared Bedroom
Everyone lay awake. The cameras kept rolling. Even the crickets outside seemed to hold their breath.
No one knew what to say.
"They want us to crack," Yuna whispered.
Darius, lying in the middle of the massive bed with all four girls curled around him, said nothing. He was thinking. Planning.
Avery pressed her head against his chest. "If it's me, promise me something."
He looked down at her.
"Don't let them replace me."
"No one replaces any of you," he said.
But in the dark, he wasn't sure if that promise could hold.
Just then, a phone buzzed on the nightstand. Not the show-provided villa tablets. A sleek, black smartphone.
The girls sat up instantly.
"That's not one of ours," Alicia said.
Darius reached for it. A single message blinked across the screen.
"Wake up early. The producers are planning something. Trust no one."
He stared at it.
The number was blocked.
He looked at the others. No one spoke.
Outside the window, thunder rolled again.
Darius looked at it strangely not really worried, after all, even if the public was against them. He controlled more than half the participants inside it.
