Getting a Sugar Mommy in Cultivation World!!-Chapter 610: Song Liu’s Secret
"She has not been affected by the curse on her soul, that is for sure." Noah slowly pushed Wuhan back, not letting him jump on him. "As you know, the immortal constitution she has is cursed by something or someone."
Wuhan calmed himself down and backed away, but the sternness in his eyes did not diminish.
"That curse is so powerful that even in my whole existence I have never seen anything like that, and that should speak a lot." Noah started to explain slowly as a small projection of Song Liu's soul appeared in the room.
This projection was an exact copy of Song Liu's soul. It was a huge blob of energy that was pulsing with an ethereal silver color.
Around the core of her soul was a vague glow of red energy that was covering a darker and more ominous thin layer of green mist.
This green mist was so thin that it was almost non-existent.
"This red mist you see is the curse of the Red Dawn Cult, and the thin green mist you can barely see is the curse she was born with." Wuhan's eyes widened as he covered his mouth with his right hand.
"This curse… it's so thin. Is it even as powerful as you said–" Wuhan had just started asking the question when the red curse flickered before sending a small tendril-like attack on Song Liu's soul.
Crackle!!
But at the same time, the green curse took action. As soon as it was touched by the red tendrils, they started burning as if they had been struck by lightning.
The curse was fighting off another curse, preventing it from harming Song Liu's soul core.
"As you can see, whenever the curse of the Red Dawn Cult tries to manipulate Song Liu, her original curse defends her soul like that." Noah spoke with a bit of intrigue in his voice.
"The curse that was supposed to harm her is protecting her without even knowing." Wuhan let out a stifled laugh before his expression turned serious.
"But even then, what does she plan to accomplish by sneaking away with the enemy like that? Is she not scared of getting caught and being killed?" Wuhan's anger returned, but this time he was not sure who to be angry at, Noah or his little aunt.

"She went off like that and did not even tell me anything about her plan." Noah spread his hands and shook his head in dismay. Seeing this, Wuhan's lips twitched as he cursed, "Who do you think she learned it from?"
Noah coughed lightly, but a small smile appeared on his face, which he tried to hide but failed badly.
"Stop looking so proud and think of a way to save her! We cannot let her stay with the enemy with no idea when she might expose herself."
Seeing Wuhan's agitation, Noah placed a hand on his shoulder and showed a serious look on his face.
"Calm down. You know that girl is no idiot. If she is doing something like that, she must have confidence or some kind of reassurance. As for bringing her back, even if we knew where they were, trying to do that would only harm her even more."
Seeing Wuhan start to calm down, Noah continued on.
"And you should know something else as well… Don't worry, it's a good thing." Noah chuckled, seeing Wuhan's face darkening once more. "I had Elysia look for the base of the Red Dawn sect when they went back."
Hearing this, the tired emperor let out a sigh of relief. He had no idea how powerful the woman in question was, but he knew she was not something to be taken lightly.
"From what she noticed, there are no more traces of the Red Dawn Cult in the Empire. We don't know about the people who have been affected and are hiding from us."
"But there is also bad news. The man who called himself General Amon took Song Liu and one more guy to the edge of the Empire and teleported from the edge of the ocean."
"Are you telling me…" Wuhan seemed to have guessed something and looked at Noah with shock.
"Yes, it was a cross-continent teleportation array. It appears that the head base of the cult is not even in the Red Fire Continent."
"How many other continents are there?" He knew there were other continents, as Noah told him, but he did not care about them until now.
"Not many, just two more," Noah replied casually, "but the main point is that once they arrived on the other continent, they disappeared once more. After they disappeared, even Elysia could not find their location or where they went."
"..." Wuhan showed a 'are you kidding me?' look at Noah as he failed to comprehensively understand what just happened. The only good news he could hear from what Noah told him was that the cult was no longer in his Empire.
What he wanted to know was the location of the base.
"Don't be so pessimistic. At least we have a lead on where to start. Since the threat of the Cult is no longer in our Empire for now, we can take this chance to strengthen ourselves."
Wuhan's eyes flashed with determination upon hearing this suggestion. He had to speed up stabilizing his Empire before he could even focus on the sect. For that, he had to rely on Noah.
"I will be visiting that girl I recruited in the competition now and take her back to the sect." Noah explained as Wuhan recalled the information about the girl and frowned, "How are you going to deal with the sect she was in before? I heard they had just visited their family home to take the girl back."
"Don't worry about that. Leave it to me." Noah showed a confident smile, "Just make sure to visit the sect after to check up on Shisan. She lost an arm in the battle, after all."
"Wait, WHA–"
