Chapter 1045: The Completion FINAL Chapter

The hands finally caught up to him moments after he exited the wormhole, and this time, they caught the surprised Aron, immediately crowding him and giving him no chance to escape.

“ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Aron shouted as his body was being sucked away, getting thinner and thinner while at the same time feeling like his soul was being forcefully torn apart from his body and absorbed along with it.

“I’M going to kill, I’M going to fucking kill you! I’m going to come back and kill you! I swear on my soul, you motherfucker, remember that!” he continued shouting throughout the process as he was losing life force with each passing second, showing how much resentment he was feeling as he vented.

But no matter how resentful and angry he was, there was only so much he could do before he could no longer keep shouting. The hands kept taking more and more of him, and it wasn’t long until there was no longer any of him at the moment, as his entire body had disappeared. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

The hands kept getting brighter and brighter as they started halving again and again, becoming lighter and lighter until they turned white. By the time two hands remained, they were pure white, glowing blindingly before they held each other. Moments later... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A blindingly bright explosion took place, looking no different than if a star had gone supernova, as if the universe were celebrating the removal of the biggest problem it had. For what Aron had done, it was a befitting celebration for the potential problem Aron was to the universe.

The galaxy gained a new source of light, and with it, the memory of the emperor’s existence.

“Wow, it really worked,” Aron said as the space around him rippled, revealing a bubble which itself dispersed, revealing Aron standing there, his brow sweating and face filled with relief.

Although he looked relieved, he was still in full tension as he looked around, ready for the hands to once again reveal themselves. Just as he planned to continue extending his vigilance, the system finally came back again.

{Congratulations on coming from the other side of it alive.}

The moment he saw those lines, the tension and readiness he had been holding for the entire duration, along with the dread and fear, were finally released. He knew that the situation had finally ended. He immediately lost consciousness, floating freely while being pushed further and further from his initial position as the explosion from the supernova was now hitting his shield and pushing him, as he wasn’t actively fighting back against it.

A wormhole soon opened about ten light-minutes away as a ship exited from it, heading in the direction of the explosion that was moving at nearly light speed to retrieve the emperor. It was impossible to open a wormhole next to him due to the space around it undergoing situational changes, making their absolute coordinates invalid and in need of remapping.

...............................

Two months later.

“All of the data from the former Conclave entities has been gathered and filtered through, and the consolidation has already been completed. So we can roll it out and test it within the simulation and see the results. If it works, I think it is time to release them from the Medpods,” Jeremy, the head of the Ministry of the Interior, said, reporting on the situation pertaining to his scope.

As the entire Conclave was absorbed, all of these new citizens had now been turned into imperial citizens, along with their territory, making them people he needed to fight for benefits from the empire.

The empire had kept them inside the Medpods for various reasons, including undergoing immunizations for diseases across all of the species in the Conclave, the gathering of data through their brain data and their civilizations’ data centers, and the reconstruction of all the destroyed structures and locations.

At the same time, it gave them enough time to adjust to how things run in the empire by living a mock version of it in the simulation, which had time passing twice as fast as normal, meaning they had already spent more than five months living under the imperial government. It was enough time for them to understand and adjust their lives to the new order.

At the same time, the empire had also gone through and finished the construction of wormholes and VR towers in every star system across the entire former Conclave territory, ensuring that once they exited the pods, they would live in an interconnected world, unlike their previously isolated lives.

The rewards division had also finished its calculations. By the end of it, even the poorest human was at least a billionaire under END evaluation, though those at the top end of the group that received rewards were too much to make even a billion dollars look big. One individual had earned enough Contribution Points to be rewarded a planet in one of the uninhabitable systems that was filled with abundant minerals, ensuring that he would be set for life the moment they started exploiting them.

With a single war, the empire had set up the entirety of the human race for the rest of their lives, making sure they would live in abundance and happiness and without worry of what they were going to eat tomorrow or if they were ever going to own a house or have enough disposable income. At the same time, this indirectly put humans at the top of the food chain, even when there was no preferential treatment, as the empire followed the same rule of treating every citizen equally.

There were arguments that making everybody generationally wealthy would lead to many of them not bothering to have children, leading to the human population declining. Even though there were more than twenty billion of them, they were still the civilization with the fewest people, with some civilizations having more than ten times their number.

However, the solution had been immediately handed to them, as the empire had finally gained access to the TRAPPIST-1 star system, which had now been designated as the imperial government’s private property. Only authorized individuals could access it. It was filled with planets that were covered with Fountain of Life substances, meaning the empire could always choose to create new humans through it, removing the need to encourage births among themselves.

As for the day of judgment, the empire had finished going through it by doing it the same way the emperor had done it with the empire during its founding days: punishing all those deemed to have committed crimes that exceeded a certain threshold, with all of them being punished according to their civilization’s previous laws. This solved most of the grievances and anger of the new imperial citizens, who now looked at the empire in a very positive way.

{Our military will soon be capable of ensuring protection across the Conclave, as our construction of ships is keeping up with the pace of our new trainee graduations...} But before Athena could finish her report on the military side, she was interrupted by Nova, who said, {Sir, Rina has gone into labor.}

“Finish everything and send me a summary of the situation—” Aron said before disappearing from the meeting room without waiting for their response or even allowing them to congratulate him, leaving them surprised that someone could log out that fast and not suffer a backlash.

................................

{Congratulations on gaining a descendant. Would you like to bind him with the system?} An ethereal voice was heard by Aron, who was holding his daughter, who had just come into the world a few minutes ago.

The system had finally fully awakened. Along with it was the system’s voice and the entirety of the system’s capabilities that were not fully accessible previously. Inheritance was one of them.

“Thank you,” Aron didn’t answer the system as he leaned in and kissed Rina, who was regaining her energy with each passing second, having gone through the birth in quite a short period of time.

“I can do it forever,” Rina said as she received her daughter.

“I will make sure you keep that promise,” Aron said.

“I think it’s about time I get to hold my granddaughter,” Aron’s mother said, finally interrupting them.

“I believe it should be me because my daughter brought her into the world,” Rina’s mother said.

“I agree, and as a result, I’m next,” Rina’s father said with a shameless face.

“Isn’t the order skewed a bit? It should be the empress, the emperor, then the crown prince, isn’t it? Why are you trying to skip the line?” Henry interjected, wanting to be the one to hold her first.

“You didn’t like that position and wanted to give it up, so why are you using it?”

“Until she can take it from me, I need to receive the payment for having to keep the position warm for her.”

The bickering between the family continued, with Aron and Rina watching it unfold with a smile on their faces as they hugged their daughter.

“Do it,” Aron said, finally answering the system’s question.

{Understood, commencing inheritance.}

He wanted his daughter to have as much of an early advantage as possible, while also being able to monitor everything that she did with the system and even issue missions that would direct her growth.

“Thank you for everything,” Aron said to both Rina and the system.

{“You’re welcome,”} they both answered in unison.
