Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world-Chapter 120: A little talk between women
Chapter 120: A little talk between women
Walking through the corridor, Eira quickly reached the cafeteria and took the lift to go to the upper floor of the cafeteria, where expensive stuff can be bought.
Reaching up, Eira walked in and saw Ravene sitting on a table, sipping some drinks.
Eira hurriedly walked to her and sat in front of her on the two-seat table "Aunt, what happened to Brandon, where is he?"
Ravene looked around at the empty Cafeteria and muttered "Well, nothing big. He has gone back to the church..."
"As his girlfriend, I am sure you know about his connection with the church."
Hearing this, Eira remembered and slowly nodded her head "So.. he went to the church?"
At this time, the waiter came and looked at Eira.
"Madam," she said with a courteous smile, "are you ordering anything?"
Eira blinked, flustered for a moment by the interruption.
She hadn’t even looked at the menu. Her mind was still spinning.
"I—uh..."
"She’ll have the peach lychee parfait and a chamomile blend," Ravene answered with a small smile.
"And bring me another glass of the Merveille Reserve."
"Yes, Madame Ravene." The waiter bowed again and left.
As she left, Eira let out a sigh and Ravene glanced at her "Are you worried about him?"
Nodding her head, she replied, "Ofcourse, I am... how can I not? He suddenly left this morning."
With a soft chuckle, Ravene replied "Oh, don’t worry, he has powerful people protecting him. It would be alright."
"Mhm..."
There was a brief silence as the waiter returned and carefully set down the peach lychee parfait in a glass bowl, its delicate layers of cream, fruit, and chilled jelly arranged like a summer bloom.
A cup of chamomile tea was also kept, steaming gently with floral warmth
Eira absentmindedly stirred her tea.
Ravene looked at her face "Seems like you love him a lot... as I can see, you care about him a lot."
Eira’s hand froze for a second and a shy blush painted her cheeks "Hm.. I really do. He is really good guy. fearless and strong..."
As she spoke, her gaze lowered "And me? I am very weak. To clear my fear, I went into rupture but got a cardiac arrest and Brandon helped me."
She closed her eyes for a moment "He is getting stronger daily..."
"Sometimes I wonder if I stay weak like this, will I be left behind and forgotten?"
Ravene let out a soft chuckle and replied "That boy doesn’t have the heart to leave behind anyone."
"But if you’re afraid, then don’t wait in the background. Be the person who walks beside him. The one he can lean on..."
Hearing this, Eira stared at her and whispered in a soft tone "I want to.. but I don’t know if I can."
Sipping her drink, Ravene replied "Hm.. you love him, don’t you?"
Eira gave a nod without hesitation "I do."
Ravene smiled faintly and looked out the tall glass windows, where sunlight was dimming into the mellow gold of late afternoon.
"Then don’t waste time hesitating, girl," she said softly. "Others won’t."
Hm? Eira was confused "Others?"
Ravene turned back to look at him and took another sip of her drink "Even though Brandon calls me Aunt, I am not his real Aunt."
"I am just a close friend of his Aunt."
Hm? Eira was even more confused as she suddenly said it "...Ok."
Seeing her face, Ravene smile "You must be wondering why I am suddenly saying this."
Eira blinked and the smile on Ravene’s lips widened "I am just saying that nothing is stopping me from loving Brandon."
Huh?
Eira was taken aback to hear this "Aunt.. what are you saying?"
With a deep sigh, Ravene replied "Haa.. ok, let me be clear, I love Brandon as a man."
What? Eira blinked, totally shocked to hear that.
For a few seconds, she simply sat frozen as her fingers trembled against the teacup.
Ravene, however, was totally chill and took another sip of her drink.
"W-What...?" Eira finally managed to mutter. "You... love Brandon?"
Ravene smiled faintly, "Is it really that surprising?"
"Yes!" Eira said almost too loudly, as her composure began to crack.
"Yo-You’re older than him! I thought Brandon called you Aunt! I thought you are his guardian or something?"
Ravene shrugged in amusement "It is your fault for thinking like that." she said quietly.
"Age, titles, distance... They’re all just masks. Deep down, I’ve always known what I felt. I just never acted on it. Not because it was wrong..." freewebnoveℓ.com
"but because he was too young. And because he needed space to find himself first."
Eira shook her head slowly trying to make sense of it "But... I never once thought—"
She stopped herself as she remembered Ravene walking around in panties ’Was it to seduce him and show her appeal to him?’
Taking a deep breath, she looked at Ravene "...Why are you telling me this?"
Ravene looked at her again "Because I want you to understand something very clearly."
"You’re not the only one who loves him."
Eira flinched and her eyes shook in dread.
Ravene continued to speak "And if you think just because he called you his girlfriend, your position is secure... you’re mistaken."
"Brandon is kind and gentle. But he’s not naïve. He’s still learning what ’love’ means. And when he does... don’t be surprised if his heart doesn’t move the way you expect it to."
"Are... you going to take him from me?" Eira whispered, her voice trembling in fear.
Ravene looked away at the nearby window and her expression grew softer "No. I’m not taking anything. Brandon isn’t a prize to be claimed. But I won’t lie and say I won’t fight for him, either."
She looked back, and this time her expression was completely sincere "I’m telling you this now because I want you to understand what kind of man he is."
"And what kind of women are already drawn to him. It won’t just be me. Others will come. Others already have."
Hearing this, Eira’s chest tightened and her gaze gently lowered to the table.
Ravene’s voice softened. "Don’t hesitate. If you truly love him, don’t sit on the sidelines hoping he’ll choose you just because you were there first."
"Because I won’t stop. And neither will the others."
Eira sat in stunned silence. Her parfait sat untouched and her tea was already cold.
Ravene gave her a final look, finished the last of her drink, and stood up from the table.
"I’m glad we had this talk..." she said quietly and slowly walked away from there, leaving her in silence.
Walking downstairs, Ravene took her mobile and saw the wallpaper; it was a selfie she took with Brandon.
A faint smile touched her lips "I am helping my own husband to get more women and acting as a wingwoman."
She let out a soft sigh "Haa.. I really am the best wife on the planet."
Her fingers caressed his face on the wallpaper "Come home soon, hubby."
