Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All-Chapter 257:Qiao Li’s dream
Chapter 257: Chapter 257:Qiao Li’s dream
Mrs. Yu went to the kitchen and took a water bottle to fill the jug.
At the same time, she wasn’t able to understand why she had such a dream.
And what was its meaning?
She remembered her irrational behavior in the dream and thought that maybe the dream was completely opposite from reality.
Yes.
The jug was filled and she started walking towards the stairs.
As she passed by she noticed a sneak figure in the living room.
The figure was walking in the mansion with the support of the walls and looked quite injured.
Mrs. Yu was instantly frightened and asked loudly,
"Who are you?"
The figure was stunned hearing Mrs.Yu’s voice and started panicking.
Mrs. Yu hurriedly went toward the switchboards and turned the lights but by now, the figure disappeared.
Mrs. Yu was instantly on alert and looked around warily.
With trembling hands, she called the security guard and waited for him to arrive.
Mr. Yu was out of town and her sons were not home.
As for her mother-in-law and father-in-law, they didn’t live with them.
So only Yu Mei was the one who was accompanying her.
Remembering about Yu Mei, Mrs. Yu hurriedly shouted,
"Mei’er! Mei’er come down."
After a few seconds, Yu Mei came out of her room sleepily and asked,
"What happened, mother?"
Seeing Yu Mei was not injured, Mrs. Yu heaved a sigh of relief and said,
"A thief has entered the mansion, stay with me lest the thief hurt you."
Yu Mei was stunned and walked downstairs.
Soon the security guards arrived and checked the mansion.
Mrs. Yu couldn’t help but scold them,
"What you were doing? How can you let a thief enter the mansion? Do you know that we could have been killed?"
The guards were confused.
They were guarding the mansion the entire time and didn’t see anyone coming in.
How can there be any thief?
But since Mrs. Yu claimed that she had seen a thief that there was definitely someone.
To their surprise, even after searching the entire mansion, they found no one.
Mrs. Yu too felt strange.
How can that thief disappear so suddenly?
Just then Yu Mei asked softly,
"Mother, are you sure that you have seen someone?"
Mrs. Yu nodded her head firmly and said,
"Yes! Yes! I have seen with my own eyes, that there was a figure stumbling while taking support of the wall..."
Yu Mei sighed and asked,
"Why did you come downstairs?"
Mrs. Yu frowned at Yu Mei’s strange question but said,
"I came downstairs to fill the water jug."
"And where is the water jug?"
Mrs. Yu pointed at the table.
She was in a hurry to expose the thief and hence she placed the jug on the table and went to switch on the lights.
Yu Mei looked at the table and asked,
"Where I am not able to see it."
Mrs. Yu was irritated and pointed at the table,
"There it is placed on the tab..."
But mid-way her sentence she paused and was shocked.
There was no water jug.
Mrs. Yu shook her head and said,
"No! I have placed the jug here, I remember it."
Yu Mei gently held her mother’s hand and said, "Mother, calm down. Let’s go back to your room, maybe you’re just tired."
Mrs. Yu, feeling flustered and unsure, followed Yu Mei back to her room.
Her mind was muddled; she couldn’t shake off the image of the figure she thought she had seen in the living room.
Once in her room, Yu Mei helped Mrs. Yu sit on the bed and said,
"I’ll get you a glass of water."
As Yu Mei walked away to fetch the water, Mrs. Yu tried to recollect the events in the living room.
She questioned herself: Did she really see someone or was it a figment of her imagination?
Just then she heard Yu Mei’s exclamation,
"Mother the water jug is here."
Mrs. Yu looked at the filled water jug that Yu Mei was pointing at and started doubting herself.
What was happening with her?
As Mrs. Yu looked in the direction of the jug she felt a chill run down her spine.
The discrepancy between what she believed had happened and the reality before her was disconcerting.
"Thank you, Mei’er," Mrs. Yu murmured, trying to steady herself.
Yu Mei observed her mother’s expression and asked,
"Mother, did you have a nightmare today?"
Mrs. Yu was stunned and asked,
"How did you know?"
Yu Mei said,
"Maybe you were confused between dream and reality."
"But..."
"Mother it’s alright, sometimes our dreams can feel so real that they blur the lines between reality and imagination," Yu Mei said in a soft voice.
Mrs. Yu who was still resisting suddenly calmed down and nodded her head,
"Yes, maybe I was confused."
Yu Mei then stood up and said,
"Mother I am leaving, if you want anything, tell me. Now go to sleep."
Mrs. Yu nodded, lay on the bed, and closed her eyes.
Yu Mei looked at asleep Mrs. Yu and slowly faded...
(Author: Yes she faded!)
.....
Next Morning.
Yu Holea woke up at 4 pm and was surprised to see that Qiao Li was not on the bed.
Did she leave? She looked around the room and her gaze struck when she saw a figure on the balcony.
Qiao Li was standing on the balcony with a dazed look.
Yu Holea patted her shoulder and Qiao Li jumped a little in fright.
"What are you thinking?"
Qiao Li looked at Yu Holea with a dazed look and said,
"Lea, do you know today I had a very horrible dream? In the dream, you never came to Qiao Mansion. My grandmother died at the hands of the second branch of the Qiao Family. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
Then I vaguely saw that my elder brother ended up in jail for some reason. My second brother set out for the journey but never returned.
Rui Wang was successful in making my mother depressed and finally told her about Kris, and how he died after living a tortured life.
My mom...she then committed...committed suicide and my dad...my dad wasn’t able to save her. He was regretful and neglected me and Zirui.
Later Rui Wang shifted to the Qiao Mansion and started ordering us around. At first, we resisted but when we saw how indifferent our father was...we stopped resisting.
Zirui and I relied on each other and grew up. Zirui went to find the second brother while I went to clear my eldest brother’s name.
By that time Rui Wang had already snatched up our mansion and assets.
Yet Rui Wang didn’t let us off. She hired assassins to kill us.
Zirui...Zirui died too then.
I became crazy after hearing this and decided to take revenge.
First I planned about how to destroy them. Gradually I was able to put Rui Wang in jail, I don’t know how I did it but I almost destroyed Shi Qin too.
Just as I was about to win, Shi Qin’s mysterious friend saved her. She even turned the tables and destroyed me.
I watched unwillingly as Shi Qin and Rui Wang took away all the assets of the Qiao Family. And my dad went to jail.
But do you know why I telling you this?"
Yu Holea felt that Qiao Li was in very heavy mood and didn’t dare to neglect and said,
"No."
Qiao Li laughed but her laughter felt fake,
"Two reasons. First, Holea she is Yu Mei, your step-sister. What was even more funny was that Yu Mei in my dream had become the top-socialite in the capital. Hahaha!
She took my position, could you believe it? Hahaha!"
Yu Holea suddenly hugged Qiao Li and whispered slowly,
"It’s okay. It was just a dream calm down."
Qiao Li stopped laughing and slowly tears appeared in her eyes, she buried her head in Yu Holea’s shoulder and sobbed,
"Lea I am scared...I am truly scared. If...if that dream came true...Uh. Thank god! Thank god you arrived."
Qiao Li cried while hugging Yu Holea and Yu Holea patted her back trying to soothe her.
Yu Holea knew that maybe what Qiao Li saw was not just a dream...
Maybe this was the fate of the Qiao Family in the previous life.
Yu Holea closed her eyes.
Now she feels that Yu Mei is a danger.
From Qiao Li’s story, it was clear that Shi Qin and her mother were wrong but Yu Mei still helped them.
Not good.
Even if she considers Qiao Li’s words as her dream, then how can Qiao Li know Yu Mei?
Yu Holea took a deep breath and finally, when Qiao Li calmed down, she asked to her sleep and said,
"Rest for now I will take leave on your behalf."
Qiao Li nodded her head without arguing.
Suddenly she asked,
"Lea was this the reason why you wanted to deal with Rui Wang?"
