Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All-Chapter 746: Two Souls
Chapter 746: Chapter 746: Two Souls
Yu Holea chuckled,
"Oh really? Miss Liu, did you forget? The previous night, while everyone was resting, my teammate and I went to market, bought ingredients, and made dishes for everyone.
When I suggested making the food, you were the one who handed money without any hesitation, and now suddenly, you feel everything is unfair?"
At words, Liu Meiyu didn’t back down and said,
"If I had known earlier, I wouldn’t have given you a single coin!" Liu Meiyu snapped, puffing up her cheeks in anger.
"I thought you were actually going to work, not just throw money at everything and act like you’re better than us!"
Yu Holea raised her eyebrows.
"Better than you? I never said that. I just used my brain. What’s the problem if I choose a smarter way to do the task?"
The live chat exploded again.
"LOL, savage Holea strikes again."
"People like Yu Holea could live well anywhere!"
"But Meiyu kinda has a point. It is a reality show."
"Girl just mad she didn’t think of it first."
Liu Meiyu crossed her arms and turned to the camera crew.
"I think the producers should make a rule. No buying help! That’s not what this show is supposed to be about!"
One of the staff looked nervous and scratched his head.
"Uh... we’ll report it to the director..." ƒгeewebnovёl_com
Yu Holea didn’t even flinch. She calmly bit into a cucumber from the lunch she had made earlier and said,
"You can change the rules now if you want. But I didn’t break any today."
Xu Tian, still awkward, leaned over to her and whispered, "Maybe you should, like, pretend to help... just a little?"
Yu Holea smirked. "Why pretend? That’s what Meiyu does."
The audience chat exploded.
"HOLEA OMG"
"She eats 10 courageous women as her breakfast!"
"She’s not pulling punches today!"
"Meiyu’s getting roasted LIVE."
Liu Meiyu’s face turned red. "What do you mean by that?"
Yu Holea stood up slowly, brushing her pants.
"I mean you act all hardworking in front of the camera, but when they’re off, you’re the first one to disappear.
Remember yesterday? You went to ’wash your hands’ for thirty minutes while I chopped vegetables alone."
The chat was going wild.
"She got receipts!"
"Wait, what?! Meiyu fake working?"
"She’s done for..."
Liu Meiyu was silent before saying,
"I paid for it."
"Good that you accepted it. You paid so you don’t have to work, now I paid to my work done. Aren’t we on equal terms?" Yu Holea asked with a smile.
Liu Meiyu gritted her teeth and turned to continue to work.
After a while, Lin Zhihao suddenly stood up and walked toward Yu Holea. He lifted his hand and swug it at Yu Holea.
However, before he could slap Yu Holea, Xu Tian had already held his hand and shouted,
"What the f*ck! What are you doing!"
Lin Zhihao, as if in a trance, pushed Xu Tian harshly and turned toward Yu Holea.
Yu Holea didn’t move. She just looked at Lin Zhihao calmly, like she wasn’t even scared.
The whole place went quiet.
Even the chickens stopped clucking.
The livestream chat froze for a second, then exploded.
"WAIT, WHAT??? DID HE JUST TRY TO HIT HER???"
"NO WAY, BRO JUST LOST HIS MIND ON CAMERA."
"THANK YOU, XU TIAN, FOR BLOCKING THAT!!"
Lin Zhihao’s eyes were wild, like he wasn’t thinking straight.
"You... you think you’re so smart! So perfect! Always showing off and making everyone else look bad!"
His voice was shaking.
Yu Holea blinked slowly.
"I never made anyone look bad. You did that yourself."
Lin Zhihao’s fists are clenched.
Xu Tian stood between them and yelled, "Back off, man! You’re not gonna touch her!"
"Don’t get in my way!" Lin Zhihao shouted and tried to push him again.
But this time, Xu Tian shoved him back hard. "What the hell is wrong with you? This is a show, not a wrestling match!"
The staff rushed over in a panic.
"Stop! Stop! Cameras are still rolling!"
Two crew members quickly stepped in and pulled Lin Zhihao back.
Yu Holea didn’t flinch the whole time. She just looked at Lin Zhihao like he was a stranger.
Then she said softly,
"Lin Zhihao, wake up."
Lin Zhihao glared at Yu Holea, but suddenly, he felt something snapping his mind, and he blacked out.
Lin Zhihao’s body swayed, and then—bam! He dropped like a sack of potatoes.
Everyone gasped.
"Wait... did he just pass out???"
"Yo, what just happened?"
"Holea’s words are too powerful. She got a secret mind control power???"
Xu Tian looked down at Lin Zhihao, then back at Yu Holea. "Uh... did you do something?"
Yu Holea shrugged. "I just told him to wake up. Guess his brain couldn’t handle it."
The staff rushed forward, checking on Lin Zhihao. One of them patted his face. "Zhihao? Can you hear me?"
Lin Zhihao groaned and slowly opened his eyes. He looked around, confused. "What... happened?"
Yu Holea crossed her arms. "You tell me. You just tried to slap me, got blocked, screamed like a crazy person, and then fainted."
Lin Zhihao blinked. Then his face turned pale. "I... I don’t remember..."
The chat was going wild.
"BRO GOT AMNESIA??? WHAT IS THIS PLOT TWIST???"
"He possessed or something??"
"Man...at first I thought Lin Zhihao has some problem with Yu Holea, but now I feel as if their is a ghost around him."
The director ran onto the set, looking serious.
"Alright, we’re stopping filming for now. Lin Zhihao, go rest. Staff, take him to the medical tent."
Lin Zhihao got up shakily, still looking dazed. Two staff members helped him walk away.
The moment he was gone, Xu Tian flopped down on the grass, sighing loudly.
"I thought this was a chill reality show... Why does it feel like a horror show?"
Liu Meiyu, who had been watching silently, suddenly stood up. She pointed at Yu Holea.
"Yu Holea, are you using puppet technique? Otherwise, why would Lin Zhihao black out from just one sentence?"
Yu Holea blinked. Then she laughed. "Puppet technique? What is this, a fantasy drama?"
The chat went wild.
"OMG LMAO MEIYU THINKS HOLEA GOT MAGIC POWERS."
"This show just turned into a cultivation novel ."
Liu Meiyu crossed her arms.
"Then explain it! Why did Lin Zhihao suddenly collapse? You are maybe some ghost exorcise, right? Maybe you can control the ghost and ask Lin Zhihao to possess him!"
Yu Holea chuckled,
"I am indeed a ghost exorcise, but I never asked any ghost to possess him. Why would I ask him to slap me if I was the one controlling him?"
"Maybe because you wanted to gain sympathy or something. As long as he slapped you, everyone will scold while feeling pity for you." Liu Meiyu said in an uncertain tone.
Yu Holea chuckled,
"Wrong answer. If I wanted that, I would have made sure he actually hit me. But guess what? He didn’t."
Liu Meiyu frowned. "Then what really happened?"
Yu Holea shrugged.
"How would I know? Maybe he’s just weak. Or maybe..." She paused for a second, then smirked.
"Maybe something else is messing with him."
The chat exploded.
"HOLEA STOP MAKING IT SOUND SCARIER LMAO."
"NOPE, I’M OUT, THIS SHOW IS CURSED."
"Bro... what if she’s not joking?"
Xu Tian shivered.
"Can we, like, not start a ghost story right now? It’s still daytime, and I already feel creeped out."
The crew members looked uncomfortable, too. One of them whispered to another,
"You think we should get a priest or something?"
Meanwhile, in the medical tent, Lin Zhihao sat on the bed, staring at his hands. He still looked pale.
"I really don’t remember anything... It’s like my body moved on its own..."
The staff exchanged nervous glances. "Maybe you were just too stressed?"
Lin Zhihao didn’t answer. He just gripped his head. Something felt... wrong.
Back at the camp, the director clapped his hands, trying to break the tension.
"Alright! Everyone, take a break! We’ll resume filming later."
Yu Holea stretched. "Great. I’m gonna get something to eat." She turned to Xu Tian. "Wanna come?"
Xu Tian nodded.
Both of them went to the kitchen.
"Do you think...Lin Zhihao is possessed by the ghost who had haunted me last night?"
"Nope." Yu Holea denied straight away.
Seeing her confidence, Xu Tian asked cautiously.
"Do you think someone else is behind all of these?"
"No." Yu Holea shook her head. "There are two souls in Lin Zhihao’s body."
Xu Tian’s soul almost left his body when he heard those words.
He thought that the ghost he had encountered the previous night was terrifying enough, and now, he was hearing something even more absurd.
He wanted to call Yu Holea crazy, but he had experienced all those strange stuff just previous night.
"How did you know? No...when did you know?" He asked cautiously.
"The behavior he displayed on the first day gave me a vague idea, and today, the guess was confirmed." Yu Holea said nonchalantly.
