Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All-Chapter 759: Force
Chapter 759: Chapter 759: Force
"And I remember," said an old housekeeper who had worked for the family years ago, now retired and invited out of courtesy. "You cried yourself to sleep every night."
More and more people began to murmur in agreement.
"I always thought something was off with how Sheng Xin treated you."
"You were such a quiet girl. Now I understand why."
"She was the only one not smiling in the family photos."
Mr. Sheng’s face turned pale. Mrs. Sheng sat down slowly, as if all the strength had drained from her legs.
The room was silent, thick with tension, until her eldest brother’s voice rang out loud and clear.
"Sheng Yin," he said, standing up and adjusting his suit.
His voice was cold, filled with pride.
"Do you really mean it? You really want to cut all ties with the Sheng family?"
Sheng Yin turned to him, her eyes calm but sharp like glass.
"Didn’t you hear what I said just now?" she replied. "Yes. I meant every single word."
Her brother frowned. "Fine," he said. "Then pay us back."
The whole room gasped again.
"Pay you back?" Sheng Yin asked slowly, her head tilting slightly. Her voice was quiet but full of disbelief.
"Yes," the eldest brother said, his voice rising.
"For everything. The top schools we sent you to, the food you ate, the toys, the clothes, the jewelry we bought you. And don’t forget the real estate under your name."
Sheng Yin laughed. It wasn’t a soft laugh—it was sharp, like she had just heard a joke that was too ridiculous.
"You really think I owe you that?" she said.
"The day I left the Sheng family, I left with nothing. I gave up everything you ever gave me. Sheng Xin was the one who forced me to give it all up, remember?"
The guests were whispering again.
The second brother stood up now, shouting,
"That’s impossible! You kept the apartment! And the shares in the family company!"
Sheng Yin turned her eyes on him. "Go check."
There was a moment of silence. Then, someone from the Sheng family’s legal team opened a file on a tablet. They quickly tapped through records while the whole hall watched.
After a minute, they looked up, eyes wide.
"She’s right," they said. "All the assets under her name were transferred five years ago. Nothing is left."
The eldest brother’s face went stiff. He sucked in a deep breath, his hands clenched into fists by his sides. But he wasn’t done.
"Fine," he said. "Then pay us back for your education. And the food you ate. Everything from the day you were born."
Sheng Yin raised an eyebrow. "How much?"
The eldest brother lifted his chin. His voice was loud and confident. "One billion."
The room exploded with gasps again. One guest even choked on their drink.
"One billion?" Sheng Yin repeated, her voice dripping with disbelief. "For what? My school fees? Meals? Toys?"
Her brother nodded.
"You used the Sheng family’s name. You lived under our roof. You ate our food and wore our clothes. If you really want to break all ties, then repay it."
But behind his serious face, he had a plan. He thought Sheng Yin would panic. That she would say,
"I don’t have that kind of money!" Then they could convince her to marry Qi Bailu again.
After all, if she married him, they could spin the whole thing in the media and fix the family’s image.
Then maybe... maybe she’d forgive them. Maybe he could fix the broken sibling bond.
But Sheng Yin didn’t panic.
Instead, she smiled. Not a kind smile, but a sharp one—like a sword.
"You want one billion?" she said slowly. "Okay. Wait a few days."
The eldest brother blinked. "What?"
"I said," Sheng Yin repeated, louder this time, "I’ll pay you. Just wait."
He looked confused now. "You... you really have that kind of money?"
Sheng Yin stepped forward, her dress still dragging behind her like a queen’s cape.
"You think I’ve been sitting around doing nothing all these years?" she said. "While you were busy trying to control me, I was building something of my own.
You forgot that the best diamonds are made under pressure. Oh! And on the way, I almost made the connection with lawyers.
I will ask them to file a case for legally serving our ties. I will mention that you want compensation of 1 billion yuan.
I am sure he would help me calculate the amount of how much I actually owe to the Sheng Family."
The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. But then, the silence broke.
A loud wave of angry voices filled the wedding hall.
"How could they ask her for one billion yuan?!"
"That’s not repayment. That’s a trap!"
"They’re trying to force her into marriage just to save their own face!"
A guest stood up and pointed at Mr. Sheng.
"This is disgusting! She suffered so much, and now you want to use her again?"
Another guest, a businesswoman in a sleek blue dress, shook her head.
"The Sheng Family is worse than I thought. Using their own daughter like this? Shameful!"
From the bride’s side, Sheng Yin’s aunt stepped forward, her face red with anger.
"You’ve gone too far!" she shouted at the eldest brother.
"She’s your sister, not a bank! Not a puppet! How can you ask her to pay back one billion for being born into this family?"
Shen Rui, still standing beside Sheng Yin, looked furious.
"She gave up everything already! What more do you want from her? You’re greedy and selfish!"
But the eldest brother ignored them all. He walked toward Sheng Yin slowly, trying to look calm, though his hands were shaking a little.
"Yin," he said. "Listen to me. This is all just a misunderstanding. You’re angry right now, but let’s fix it."
He smiled like he was trying to be kind, but it felt fake.
"Marry Qi Bailu," he said softly.
"Let’s finish the ceremony. Once it’s done, we’ll handle everything else. I’ll even send you 50% of Sheng Group’s shares. You’ll have power. Money. Everything you ever wanted."
He reached out to hold her hand. fгeewёbnoѵel_cσm
But Sheng Yin quickly stepped back and slapped his hand away.
"I’m not interested," she said clearly. Her voice was cold like snow.
"You can’t buy me. Not with shares. Not with fake promises."
The crowd clapped. Some guests cheered. "That’s right, girl! Don’t fall for it!"
The eldest brother’s face twisted. The fake smile disappeared. His calm expression broke. He looked desperate now.
He turned and shouted, "Guards!"
Two big men in black suits appeared from the side of the hall. They moved quickly toward Sheng Yin.
"Hold her!" the eldest brother ordered. "Don’t let her leave!"
The guests stood up in shock. Some tried to stop the bodyguards, but more men appeared, blocking their way.
"Stop recording!" one of the men yelled at the guests.
"Let her go!" Shen Rui shouted, jumping in front of Sheng Yin.
But the guards pushed him aside.
The eldest brother pointed at the priest, who was still standing at the altar, frozen.
"Start the ceremony again! She will marry Qi Bailu, now!"
"Are you crazy?!" Sheng Yin yelled, trying to pull away as the guards grabbed her arms. "Let go of me!"
Qi Bailu stepped forward, looking unsure but still hoping to fix his image. "It’s for your own good, Sheng Yin. We can still make this work..."
But Sheng Yin glared at him.
"You disgust me."
She struggled in the guards’ grip, but they were too strong.
The guests shouted louder, trying to stop what was happening. People were pushing against the bodyguards, but there were too many.
"Help her!"
"Call the police!"
"This is kidnapping!"
Sheng Yin looked at her eldest brother, who stood tall with a twisted smile.
"You can’t run from your family, Yin. You belong with us. You always have."
Tears burned in Sheng Yin’s eyes, but her voice didn’t shake.
"No. I don’t belong to anyone. Not anymore. Yu Holea! Help me! Please."
Once she shouted, the door of the wedding venue was pushed open.
Yu Holea walked inside calmly and, seeing Sheng Yin’s condition, a hint of anger appeared in her eyes.
The eldest brother frowned and asked,
"Who are you? Why are you here?"
"Sheng Yin’s sister. To give you the death you are courting." Yu Holea said in a light tone.
The eldest brother roll his eyes and shouted at his bodyguard,
"What are you waiting for? Go and deal with her! Make sure she doesn’t interfere with the wedding vows!"
The guards nodded and instantly turned toward Yu Holea.
Yu Holea simply flicked the immobilizing talisman on each bodyguard and walked toward her best friend.
The eldest brother, seeing Yu Holea coming near them, urged the priest,
"Please do it fast! Just skip everything and go to the last part! The kissing part..."
"I would like to see who can force my wife into a wedding!"
